I feel like I’m seeing Lily everywhere on my internet feed this week, how’s that for timing! It seems we have the usual suspects in skincare, which means that I have those in my stash. Weleda skin food is actually my winter moisturiser, taking a bit of the cream in my fingers, rubbing it to break down the thick texture and then applying it has worked wonders for me since my face gave up on being oily and turned combination after my teen years. My favourite Lily Collins look is possibly still THAT Met Gala look (2018). Love a bejewelled, glittery eye so much. Fun video as always, Matilda x

This is a utterly gorgeous make up, I absolutely love Mac lipstick and pillow talk lip liner is a gorgeous colour. Whirl Mac lippie looks nice for a nude makeup, I love frienda 560 in lustreglass lipstick in Mac just bright and lifts your face 😊
Have you ever considered trying out the Mac Powder Kiss lipsticks? It's a sheer matte lipstick (very similar to YSL slim sheet matte and to a certain extent, the Bobbi Brown Crushed Lip color). Its super comfortable for day time!

Matilda! I gotta hand it to you...you know how to keep it real! I think it's so funny that you broke your no-buy rule to purchase Omi just for this video! That sounds like something I would do...and have done. By the way, Omi is so worth it...it's one of my many favourite lipsticks in my huge lipstick collection. So gorgeous! And believe me, I miss so many Lancome Juicy Tubes from back in the day, too! I had one called Fifth Avenue that had the best caramel scent!! And I had a coconut-scented one and a blueberry-scented one! Lancome really had some awesome Juicy Tubes! I'm talking from, like, 10+ years ago. And here I am still buying up lipstick like there's no tomorrow. My one and only vice for life, it seems.

I do know Hannah Martin but she wouldn't be able to share anything publicly, and I wouldn't want to make her uncomfortable by asking. I wish we could know more, Kate has had some stunning evening looks in the past few years! x

I don't find it crunchy at all - if anything, the shape of the spoolie means it doesn't seem to pick up a lot product, so it's more about brushing them up than adding lots of texture if that makes sense. Nice hold but not super firm as a result, so I love Espressoh's Hey Broh clear brow gel or REFY Brow Sculpt for something a bit more intense 👍 x
Matilda have you tried the nudestix cream blush sticks? I only just discovered them and they are so great. They will not be leaving my makeup bag any time soon
What I like about Lily Collins after seeing her vogue video and all is that she picks very accessible products. Most of the other “woke” celebrities you’ve shown get a lot of applause for using brands that are responsible with the environment and whatnot but are not very accessible or affordable to most people (rms beauty for example is not even sold in my country and is very expensive to order online). I give my points to Lily for mostly picking products and brands that are to be found in basically any store in most countries, it’s a lot more global and approachable take on beauty in my opinion.
I'm glad you can find these products where you are! My other celebrity selections and my own beauty routine has nothing to do with being 'woke', though - I use a very wide range of brands as a beauty creator, I'm particularly interested in luxury labels or small independent companies, and I love trying and sharing beauty from a variety of places. I care about social issues and sustainable practices, and that's relevant in the beauty industry too 👍 x
@@matildaonvideo Absolutely! Yeah I´m just saying that sadly many if not most clean brands with sustainable practices are not available everywhere or tend to be very expensive. So it´s understandable why a lot of people who are not celebrities or simply don´t have access to said brands and products go for what they do have access to in their local drugstore even if they may not always be the most ethical brands but it is simply what they can access to where they are and doesn´t necessarily make them bad and careless people. I love your content it was just an observation I felt like bringing up regarding celebrities and what they are able to support and have access to contrary to most people who may look up to them and start making unfair comparisons.

I have a Nars liquid lipstick that is so oily I stopped using it. Recently I tried it as a liquid blush (one tiny dab per cheek) and I now love it!

I really want an updated version of Kate Middleton's favorites, including skincare. We know so little (if anything) about her skincare routine or makeup favorites. Both her makeup artists are on Instagram, so maybe you could ask them to share a little bit more, even if it's "off records"
Unfortunately I know as much / as little as you do 💔 That's the only episode I've ever filmed that was largely based on online speculation because SO little information is ever shared about a royal's routine. I do know Hannah Martin but she wouldn't be able to share anything publicly, and I wouldn't want to make her uncomfortable by asking. I wish we could know more, Kate has had some stunning evening looks in the past few years! x

Thank you Dany! 😄 You're quite right - most of the eyeshadow details I came across were Lancôme palettes or shadows I didn't own, and couldn't suggest anything similar. Lily works with Fiona Stiles very frequently and she creates such beautiful looks but sadly doesn't share any product details x

Hi Rikke! I don't find it crunchy at all - if anything, the shape of the spoolie means it doesn't seem to pick up a lot product, so it's more about brushing them up than adding lots of texture if that makes sense. Nice hold but not super firm as a result, so I love Espressoh's Hey Broh clear brow gel or REFY Brow Sculpt for something a bit more intense 👍 x

What I like about Lily Collins after seeing her vogue video and all is that she picks very accessible products. Most of the other “woke” celebrities you’ve shown get a lot of applause for using brands that are responsible with the environment and whatnot but are not very accessible or affordable to most people (rms beauty for example is not even sold in my country and is very expensive to order online). I give my points to Lily for mostly picking products and brands that are to be found in basically any store in most countries, it’s a lot more global and approachable take on beauty in my opinion.
I'm glad you can find these products where you are! My other celebrity selections and my own beauty routine has nothing to do with being 'woke', though - I use a very wide range of brands as a beauty creator, I'm particularly interested in luxury labels or small independent companies, and I love trying and sharing beauty from a variety of places. I care about social issues and sustainable practices, and that's relevant in the beauty industry too 👍 x
@@matildaonvideo Absolutely! Yeah I´m just saying that sadly many if not most clean brands with sustainable practices are not available everywhere or tend to be very expensive. So it´s understandable why a lot of people who are not celebrities or simply don´t have access to said brands and products go for what they do have access to in their local drugstore even if they may not always be the most ethical brands but it is simply what they can access to where they are and doesn´t necessarily make them bad and careless people. I love your content it was just an observation I felt like bringing up regarding celebrities and what they are able to support and have access to contrary to most people who may look up to them and start making unfair comparisons.
