Fantastic! Well-done! My Twin sister, Alice, and I skied Crested Butte around 1988, I think it was!! We loved the town--but got no snow the entire time we were there. So, conditions were nothing like you had! We could not try the real steeps because it was just too rocky. But we liked the whole ambiance of the place and all the people. I miss skiing so much---I'm 78 and lost my twin to Sepsis two years ago........we skied together all over the West, East, in both the US and Canada--and one memorable trip to Courcheval, France and Zermatt, Switzerland, Nothing is much fun without Alice---but I do have the sweetest memories of us skiing together all those years. And I have so enjoyed watching your become such an enthusiastic skier. We were so similar in our approach--and love---of the snow!!❤ Lynn in NYC
@@angelinaoutside Many thanks for your kind words!!! (By the way, I had the world's worst boot fitting problems--such narrow feet and such crippling arch pain--and until I found a wonderful ski boot fitter here in NYC, who worked tirelessly with me, I had gone through about 6 pairs of useless ski boots, trying desperately to fine one that didn't hurt!!!!)❤ P.S. My bootfitter got me into a Lang Ladies Racing Boot, which was very narrow--and then built up the boot around my foot! Success at last!!)
It’s not as easy to find your way around expert terrain at CB compared to the other 2. Some of that stuff is pretty intense. You can checkout Colorado Cameras videos for an idea.
@@Jarequis2 there’s an update towards the beginning of the season. This past season, I ended up with a pair of soft wide beginner boots that weren’t great but allowed me to ski with minimal pain! I may have found a better solution in the past couple of weeks though and will update once this next season starts!
@angelinaoutside oooh ill need to look for it just got some new ski boots myself. I was going through similar struggles/ arch pain ended up going Atomics with boa got to try them in Argentina this summer and am happy with them.
Hey there! Out of curiosity, what ski length do you usually ski in relation to your height? Your skiing style is similar to mine and want to buy my own skis, but not sure If I should buy them at my height or above. Thanks!
i’m so excited for CB! you are giving me so much confidence for this season! thanks for the awesome vid!
So happy to hear!!

The instructor was so sweet and encouraging!! This terrain looks insane!

Same!! Thank you :)
Terrific video - thanks for sharing!
You've got some skill, commit yourself with confidence, fear will hold you back, keep skis together. Great job.
I think we have to hit CB this winter- it looks beautiful!!! I am getting so excited for the season!! Can't wait to shred with you!!
Same!! And we should :)
Try to get your pressure on your downhill/outside ski more. Will help a lot
Your getting me too excited for skiing
It was hard editing this. I miss the ski season so much!
Nice skiing! Heading to crested butte this winter. How is it compared to resorts like Vail and Breckenridge?

Never got an update on your boots? Or did I miss the episode? Seems like you're having fun again! Hopefully found boots that work well

@@Jarequis2 I also just got atomic! 🤞🤞🤞
Pinball looks scary AF
I'd say it was the most technical run we did but I enjoyed it!

I’m 163cm and ski between 156-165. My Volkl skis are 156
What time of the year was this? I went the week before Christmas of 2023 and there wasn’t a whole lot of snow and all of the north face was closed.
This was Presidents Day weekend. Probably as good as it gets for CB!
