Tickles the imagination. Learn the geography of the lower 48. Would take developers 50 years to build it only along the Interstates and the mostly destroyed major cities they go thru, even with a separate game engine for each state along the route. Players trucking along the Interstate, centered in a mile wide corridor, till they come up to a huge glowing hole and have to go back to an interstate junction going north or south to find another going west, hope it is not blocked too. Some of those going North and/or South are also blocked. Danger of Feral Ghouls every step of the way. Intact cities with strong home guards. Can you go around, or do you have to fight your way thru the city ? Many rivers to cross. Most intact bridges are heavily guarded, especially near cities. Not enough Fusion cores to make the trek in Power Armor. Can you put it in a vehicle you can pull along the highways. Something new to dream about each night.
There's no advanced receiver for the Hunting Rifle. The "best" mod is either the .50 Cal receiver, but that's a different ammo or the Calibrated Powerful Receiver if you want to stick with .308
If you are going to run all the way down to Jamaica Plain at that lvl grab the scoped/sniper combat rifle on top of the South Boston Military Checkpoint. Hop up on the terminal to the power armor cage outside then the roof
And get there easily: NE from Sanctuary at the Robotics Disposal get eject Sentry bot software, use iit in pipboy, activate it snd set defensive protocol to South Boston Checkpoint. This baby will destroy anything just follow it.
And set the power armor to T-45 in the process instead of keeping your distance and allowing the PA to level up to XO-1. Not all PA will level up that far but that one does.

You can get a near full set of heavy combat armor extremely early if you can manage to take out captain Bridgette at hub city auto wreckers. On most difficulties popping some chems and bringing a combat rifle would probably do the job. On survival same thing applies but you may want to wear power armor just to get the set. Keep in mind captain Bridgette usually has a fat man on her so you'll need to be at least slightly cautious. It is 100 percent worth it if you aren't rushing Nuka world. Even if you are heavy combat armor could help assist you in taking out the Nuka world raiders. ALSO PRO TIP: You can fully upgrade a set of light combat armor with armorer 2 I believe then take the mods off the light combat armor and apply it to the heavy. The game looks at armor of the same type in different weight classes as the same. This means you can fully upgrade heavy combat armor super early just by having armorer 2 if you know what you're doing. Probably got 1000 hours in this game and only figured this out recently.
Captain Bridgette doesn't typically spawn with heavy Combat Armor early on. You probably got lucky on the RNG. Baker down at Quincy will typically have a near complete set of heavy CA though by the time you make it that far normally

Also the light on the helmet does not work that is true, but there IS a mod that makes it work.

The light on the helmet used to work but since the updates it’s typically broken.
I hadn't noticed. The update sure did break a lot of stuff.
The gunners at Parsons Asylum are not regular gunners. They are guards for Jack Cabot.
well . . . the wait was worth it ! thanks for the vid mate, greate Job !
@ESOdanny Just started Fallout 4 and loving it. Have to sday your videos are super helpful , A big THANK YOU from me
Combat amour + army fatigues and battered fedora w/ ballistic weave = dmg resistance over 300 easy.
When you reeach a high enough level and basically jabe done everything
The armor starts dropping left and right it becomes broken.
What’s mods are you using to make the Commonwealth look so nice.
Great video ! What pip-boy map mod do u use ? (Any PS4/PS5 variant out there btw ?)
Thank you this helps a lot!
what? I went to hub city auto wreckers and instead got a gunner in t-45 with a plasma gun. Going back to previous save
Hardened is the best receiver for a hunting rifle I thought advanced was
There's no advanced receiver for the Hunting Rifle. The "best" mod is either the .50 Cal receiver, but that's a different ammo or the Calibrated Powerful Receiver if you want to stick with .308
@@Killer-wi1mr I see I was mistaken
2:30 the car moving :D
Question, are you using a detailed map mod? Because that map is very very detailed
Damn Captain Bridget was not there in my game but a Power Armored Gunner that I had to kill was
I used the power armor that you can find down the road a bit from the giant sign. Much easier at low lvls
I swear the right heavy arm is like the chances of the Kauai 00 bird still being alive
Vault 81 has the Overseer's right arm.

The show brought me back to FA4 in 2024. Modded the fuck out of it and was wandering around in NCR ranger vet armour at level 5 using an M1 Garand. Sim settlements 2 is a great mod btw - great voice acting for a mod.
I hope you do not call what you are doing as "Playing the Game". Gods do not "play" games. They just walk around and kill everything that moves with a flick of a finger while they yawn with boredom.
@@edmartin875 the vanilla gameplay isn’t good enough to warrant playing it on a difficult setting, I don’t want to plug 40 shotgun slugs into an enemy while it doesn’t flinch!
After the next gen update, the enclave has taking up position near the bridge the hub City Auto hellfire power armor and flamer launcher
Roger that. Their camp is across the river from the Slog. When I first found them I was being chased by a Deathclaw. They shot me a time or two then concentrated on the deathclaw and I got away. I finished them off by sniping from across the river.
Yes this was in the video.
@@toakongu1 I just killed her at level 1 and she had heavy combat armor. Actually killed her with 2 different characters at level 1 and both times was heavy.
@@TheInsaneShecklador Interesting. Far as I know her armor is typically level dependent. Idk if I was wrong or if you got lucky twice
@@toakongu1 IDK either. The wiki says "She typically spawns with a nearly-complete set of heavy combat armor, missing only the right arm, but may also have power armor."
Actually looking back I killed her 3 times at level one (on my test run, before filming a survival vid, was on very easy) and she had heavy all three times.
4:04 will the combat armor be more heavy depending on ur level?
My main focus right now is grinding on Elden Ring and waiting for the dlc next month 🙂
I just played on ps5 and the helmet light works for me!
- on my way to jamaica plains
- hear whistling sound
- realize now i'm in front of Gunners plaza
- too late, KABLAZINGA!!!! *mini nuke exploded, me in pieces...
I can't wait to play this again. Between the show & the new update. I have to repurchase tho. Can't use disc in series S.
You have Fallout 4 on Disk ??? I thought you could only get it from the internet. You know, when they say you own it but keep physical possession and control everything that you try to do as they periodically try to debug their unfinished game but actually make it worse.
Theres gotta be someplace closer to Sanctuary.
Unfortunately not
Im disappointed I didnt pick up the heavy combat armor when I killed the enclave at their camps. I didnt know they were all different. I figured it was an appearance thing.
Meanwhile.. random Enclave dudes in full armor jumps me while I'm sneaking past mole rats early survival mode 😢
I am not even sure that I would even attempt to make my way all the way to Jamaica Plain at level 1 just for armor, even combat armor, though I might try it just for a lark.
Hardened is max in Fallout 76,(Well not counting Prime anyway) but in Fallout 4 I am pretty sure there are powerful and advanced mods as well for the sniper rifle. Also the light on the helmet does not work that is true, but there IS a mod that makes it work.
Off topic, but which landscape mods are you using and which pip boy mod to make the map look like that? Thank you!!
It's in the auto installing mod list on our website ☺️
@@ESOdanny thank you
Good video, thank you.
I love the Fallout 4 revival
Could you do a walkthrough on how to get the maxson battlcoat
as a Spanish speaker I actually appreciate the Spanish voiceover
Started a new game, never did beat it
Kingdom come is another im trying to have the patience for its a really good immersive game.
I went to jamaica plain. And my luck was so bad, that a fucking car was in the room where i can loot sal’s body for combat armor 💀
Time to find an earlier save and try again.
honestly dont think i need this to make the trek when i've already got power armor and minutemen general uniform.
Man
The spanish translation sounds so cursed
I love it lol
Oh noo 😂 is it understandable?
@@ESOdanny tbh yeah
It has some mistakes like something translated with Google translate but still understandable c:
Id like to see someone do a run at Survival mode with no weapons.
Rhetam did a permadeath survival with no weapons.
What mod is used here for the nice green vegetation?
This is the type of shit that pops up in my feed now that i'm playing FO4 again.
"You can get here at level 1" - It's in Jamaica Plain.
Bruh I'm already level 5 by the time I hit Concord and that's if i don't decide to build out Sanctuary.
Stop "you can get this at Level 1. Just go here, then over here, past here, then way over there, see that road, keep going, year on th eother side of the whole map that is where you want to go. Your level 1. If you survive you can have a chance to get the basic level of this combat armor. WTF dude. If you have a computer PC version just type of in Godmode. Go there, turn off Godmode, get the armor, turn back on Godmode, return to Sanctuary, then turn Godmode back off, and you now are starting with the Combat Armor at level 1.
If you can go into God Mode to do anything, why bother saying you are "PLAYING" the game, because you aren't.
I hated the armor ranks in fo4. Like most people probably dont realize til end of first playthru about normal sturdy and heavy variants. Makes finding a full suit of anything good real hard/long.
I mix and match till I finally get what I want. PS, I'm not into fashion, functionality is more important to me, so if I'm wearing raider, leather, and metal all at once then it is the best I have at that point in time.
