I know. that's why I'm here now, I made it 2:30. Ok here's what I would have said by now: Step 1. Max your endurance when you build your character with the vault tech rep. This will give you max hit points per level. Step 2. after leaving the vault " ~ Player.setlevel 250 " Step 3. this is going to take several minutes, go get a sandwich.
Just popping in with a quick tip. Instead of shelves, build metal signs. They stack a lot easier in that you can point at a wall and spam "Craft" to your heart's content and the only limit is resources or settlement size. If you don't want to delete a few hundred signs afterwards, build a wall to place them all on first then remove them all in one swoop.
Omg, I love you! Have my babies! And I'm a dude so, have my wife. You just saved me so much controller button mashing. My forearms thank you, my very above average intelligent individual
I used a similar method. No glitching though, and I became the wasteland’s biggest supplier of Jet Fuel! I’d go around buying Plastic and fertilizer shipments and researched chemist. First craft jet, then jet fuel, then I’d sell the jet fuel to pay for the shipments so on and so forth! It was a fun play though I’m level 161 I believe. Sorry I find it funny that I essentially become the Pablo Escobar of fallout 4 😂💉💊⚕️
If you are going to dupe resources, you might as well make chems for XP. Every chem weighs 0.1 which gets heavy when you are making hundreds of chems, except stimpacks have zero weight. Getting bloodpacks is going to be a stumbling block to making stimpacks, but you can make jet with ingredients available from scrapping Sanctuary. Use the money from the jet to buy bloodpacks from doctors and then dupe your way to success.
Buddy I have thousands hour in Fallout 4 I play since November 2015 , and best way to level up is to scrap everything in sanctuary , red rocket & starlight drive in , if you start game with 10 intelligence , 10 charisma and rest for strength and you craft level up you go from level 2 to 19 - 26 (depend if you will have luck and find ushacka hat and vault lab coat at start of the gme , and then level endurance for aqua boy , go to spectacle island , super ez to take command of that island , and start to bulid water purifiers and invest in cap collector , and local leader and trade ... max level I have ever reach in Fallout 4 was 300 , and believe me I did not trade anything ! , from one harvest of water I just go from traider to traider and bought EVERYTHING they had in inventory ,includig those from nuka world and far harbour ... but that was tedious , I will never do that again , I just play now for fun .
There's several dealers throughout the wasteland that sell shipments of plastic and fertilizer surpringly. After you buy it out wait in a chair 48 hours and it resets then fast travel to each location
Also don't forget to sleep before either spamming shelf's or statue's for even more XP. Also mentats, Berry mentats, lab coat. Those will also add more XP as well.
As I recall, somebody did the math on Int vs Savant, and the reality is that it is ALWAYS better to have savant than not, but it is also better to have as high an Int as possible. Yes, savant will trigger less, but the gains when it does will also be bigger. So, basically, get savant and as much Int as you can spare for your build for big xp gains.
If U max idiot savant for the killing perk then set up massive gunner cages settlement I have one with 50 cages then play the game normal come back every 3-5days or just sleep either way I get 10's of xp every time pipe gun mini nuke best way to kill then all
for the our people on the new gen consoles you have to hold down the b/circle button for the dupe to work idk why but you do otherwise itll close the scrap message
It's important to mention that, even if you're not specing for a savant build, you always need to pick up savant, anyway, because there's always a chance it can trigger. Always having savant is better than not ever having savant.
@ESO , there is an almost identical way of leveling up even FASTER. Instead of building a ton of statues and scrapping 'em, build enough statues to fill the settlement size to the maximum, then scrap one statue and start building it and scrapping it without having to move. You just have to press the build/scrap buttons repeatedly (the ordder doesn't matter) and depending on how fast you press the buttons, you level up. Even with level 10 inteligence and well rested perk, you get 33xp per few clicks so pressing quickly you can get crazy ammount of xp VERY fast. I learned this method on another channel (Sorry, but I forgot which channel it was).
For Playstation players, re: dupe glitch. In one fluid motion swipe square, X, circle. If you time it right it will duplicate the resource. Once you have duplicated a few stacks, scrap them in the workshop menu to turn them into a single stack, speeding things up a bit.
@@FireSlimeFan make sure in ur settings ur not in performance mode, then also make sure ur holding down the scrap button then quickly switch to holding down the store button, then while holding down the store button press accept to scrap and accept to storing the material, you have to still be holding down on the store button while accepting both menus that pop up.
Another nice thing about idiot savant is that if you save right before turning in quests, you can reload until savant triggers to get massive XP boosts. Usually you gain a level (sometimes two depending on where your bar is at) for every quest. And you don't have to reload that many times. Although ESO's chart says you have 11% chance to trigger at 1 intelligence, but in my experinence I very rarely had to reload my save more than five or six times. Also if you are playing on PS5 reloads are much faster - well they were before the next-gen update. They seem slower now but I haven't had time to do a comparison.
If you don't want to glitch, you can do pretty well purchasing fertilizer and plastic and just crafting jet (which, with decent charisma, magazines, etc will turn a profit). In fact, you can just live in Diamond City using the doctor's station to craft and buying the materials whenever they come up 24/7 from the general goods girl/robot. If you use the Bhramin traps to make sure you have 3 at each settlement (max production) and link up all your settlements, you can hit a chem station any time you are in a settlement and cash in on whatever production happened.

You can drop like 50k steel or whatever (works with any item) in the ground and ask your companion to pick it. Even with full inventory your companions always pick stuff for you.

Thanks to this video and the other Fallout 4 videos you've made recently I've gone back to playing some vanilla Fallout 4 on my Xbox. It's a nice change of pace from the ultra modded PC thing I've got going on. For leveling up I've found that duplicating the resources for molotov cocktails and spamming those at a chemistry station works great as well. I've been trying that and for the life of me I can't get it to work. Is the holding of the button more important than the speed of hitting the buttons?
Do it slow at first to get the button order right then pick up speed. Press Square/X first then Circle/B. 2 text squares should pop up. While holding down Circle/B press x button/A to confirm both . You might be doing it too fast. Again start slow then pick up speed to get the timing right.
@@darthdrizzle24you have to click and hold B while releasing X. If X gets released too fast, when you press B you’ll just cancel the “scrap item” popup. Alternatively, if you press B too fast before releasing X, the X input won’t register and the “store item” popup will stay on the screen. The timing is X raising back up at the same time B is going down
Molotov cocktails give more XP per build. Use easy to find resources you'll have to clone by the time you walk out of Vault 111. (Adhesive, Cloth, Glass, Oil.) If you're using the duplication glitch anyways, makes more sense to spam something you don't need to leave Sanctuary for, that gives you upward of 17xp+ per build depending on your set-up. Then you just store the molotovs and carry a couple hundred around as currency when you're exploring. Saves moving around a bunch, destroying statues, etc. Gets boring. But works better, faster, unlimited caps in molotov stash after. 🤷♂️
At this stage if we’re doing all these glitches where is the benefit of spending time duplicating and doing xp glitches etc rather than just using console commands? Feels like either way the same thing is being achieved…
@danielsgamerprofile4067 I mean fair point, but console can't use commands can they? Plus just feels better making a thousand molotov than typing in add xp
@danielsgamerprofile4067 I agree but playing on Series X/PS5 don't get the convenience of console commands. We either dig up creative ways to use exploits, or we play one for one straight across. Both valid choices, I just don't always have the patience for a fresh faced playthrough.
@@xeslana1426 yeah I seen the glitch with the special book and wanted to use it to change my starting stats for a survival character to save myself the effort of spending points and just allow me to kickstart the build I wanted to go for earlier on and then as I went to do the special book glitch remembered I could just use commands to get the result I want and I’m glad for it cause it was a SOB to replicate haha 🤣
I usually play the game at least once before exploring glitches and such. But the settlements building part of the game really got me (and it’s so relaxing) and it’s a hustle to constantly grind for materials when trying out different ideas so the dupe glitch was invaluable 😊 That and the rug/pillar glitch since I think Bethesda really messed up making a game with the settlement feature and then screws up the building part big time. Tried it on the PS4 and it worked 👍🏻 But you got to try a few times to get it to work. And I really hate that the controls change depending on which mode you’re in so I’ve emptied the freaking workbench by mistake more than once 😮💨
Commenting 05/31/2024 For PC , Its working 100%.. a few tips.. I found to have a very high rate of this working by selecting the item "E" then unselecting each time before the process. Then "R" with pointer finger, "Tab" with Index finger.. Key thing is holding "Tab" after the switch, if you just click "Tab" the storing option will flash away. Finger placement doesn't matter just my comfort. This is amazing.. cheers
Ok, look, had to trial and error a macro(★☆☆☆☆: horrible do not recommend making a macro.) Fun fact about this glitch, it has a step that needs to be within the same millisecond. Keys are considered pressed when between up and down. I'm going to transcribe the macro ▲ = key hits up You can figure out the rest. R▼ 25ms R▲ 0ms (VERY IMPORTANT STEP, IT dies if too short, or too long.) TAB ▼ 225ms (to let everything load, it doesn't work without it.) ENTER ▼ 25ms ENTER ▲ 100ms (needs this one too) ENTER ▼ 25ms ENTER ▲ 375ms (don't know if needed, it worked though. Blood sacrifice was performed here) TAB ▲ I had a faster one but it got purged along with many others. Yes, a blood sacrifice was performed. yes, you may need to do one as well if you want this macro depending on your machine's spirit mine was annoyed that day.
Nice glitch, but I’ll do the experience farm the hard way 😊 It’s nice to know there’s no level cap in fallout cause I forgot about that. I’ll look at your channel for some good tips on how to survive fallout 4! Subscribed. By the way ❤
Bro this video is so good for me (i am stuck with 3 deathclaws with mid game loot and no escape) but with this i can Not die :] Tysm man keep up the content
I started a new file earlier this week. First time I've exploited any glitches (10 stats right at the start). Before that, the closest I got to cheating was save scumming to get an explosive combat shotgun.
For next gen players, right next to the ironworks and the slog is an enclave encampment that has a hellfire trooper with the second strongest power armor in the game, at mark 6, and a heavy incinerator. there are also two grunts, and two plasma turrets. they're tough to kill, especially at lower levels, however if you either do the EXP glitch, or lead them to the slog and let those NPCs kill them for you, you can dispatch them pretty easily
This doesn't work for Pc as the store key is the tab key and the cancel key on the scrap tab is also the tab key. so when hitting the store key after the scrap key it cancels the scrap tab.
Tip for an Easy and Quick Saugus Ironworks Boss Fight (for PC only: Console unknown): You can break out of you dialog paralysis with Jake, by wildly swinging your mouse around. If you can do this before Slag gives Jake the option to kill the hostage, you can walk up to the catwalk, without being attacked, and surround Slag and the flamer guy with mines. I dropped about 3 frag mines, a bottlecap mine and a piggybank mine. Go back down to Jake, finish the dialog, drop some Psycho (and maybe some Jet) and focus immediately on the Forged guy downstairs at your level. The mines upstairs should nearly, or completely, wipe out Slag and the flamer guy once the fight starts and you should just need to take out this downstairs guy. However, if the mines don't completely take out Slag and Flamer, it should only take a few shots from your favorite high powered weapon to finish them. If you've taken Jet, you might be able to finish this entire fight without taking any damage whatsoever.
On PC it still works. key is not to let go of store button. so press R let go R imediately press Tab and hold it. if done correctly 2 forms are displayed then press E twice and let go of Tab.
Why not just use console commands to level yourself up instead of going through all of this if you don't want to level up normally? EDIT: I wasn't thinking about console platform players, sorry.
@@Om_64. I'm a new player to FO4 so I'm not aware of all of the achievements. Some of them are given for leveling up? I thought they were all linked to actual game activity.
I think it's faster to go for both INT and the Savant. Youre still placong hundreds of items so the Savant perk will trigger no matter eventually and just stack above your existing INT based leveling boost
Cap glitch: make a vendor stall of the highest cap requirement you can reach, then just use the scrap-and-store glitch to get back half the cost of the vendor stall infinitely, requires local leader at least and level 2 of that and level 2 cap collector for the most caps(to get the level 3 armour/weapon stand)
If I remember correctly this exploit doesn't even require a ton of materials, you glitch out the menus and spam put a mod on a robot infinitely, material free minus the very first craft, then from there you just mash the craft button till your fingers numb lol
@@Wicked061 I found it pretty easily, it involves a few steps. Make a assaultron torso after making a new automaton, or just use Ada. You want the Protectron Torso in your inventory. Clear workbench of all junk and store it in a separate container as not to use materials. Tell your companion to stand near the automaton work station. Trade with companion and try and interact with the work station right after, if done right it will glitch the menus. Tap Right on the D pad continually, doing so will trick the game into thinking your crafting more protectron torsos. Press Right on the D pad until bored/tired whatever. All XP accumulated won't be shown until leaving the menus Exiting the glitched menu will deleted the Protectron Torso from your inventory.
As a side note, if you don't want to have to deconstruct a bunch of statues, right at the start of the game you can make Molotov's...they give 15 XP each (75 with level 2 idiot savant) and you can build them super fast 😊😊😊😊
dont forget you can scrap the noted scrap at your settlement by simply dropping the noted scrap and using the workbench to scrap the notes simplicity itself
It's not just any junk item it has to be the root material as in it can't be broken down into anything else. Like you can't duplicate a bag of Fertilizer it has to be the Fertilizer itself. Hope that helps
You can do this method with chems and explosives and double dip. If you use the material doubling hack and then create thousands of Molotov cocktails you not only get the experience you also create a ton of sellable explosives. You can sell these to vendors and either buy ammo, weapons, and armor, or you can drain all the vendors of caps which builds your piggy bank.
Here’s a little tip if you don’t want to be scrapping all the stuff, first max the build limit, then place the statue or shelf and spam x and square rapidly.
I may be wrong, but when you’ve over leveled up early in the game and only have a measly 10mm pistol… all I could say is, good luck dealing with high level enemies (especially those with a skull on their names)
FYI The glitch still works on console and PC.

Do it slow at first to get the button order right then pick up speed. Press Square/X first then Circle/B. 2 text squares should pop up. While holding down Circle/B press x button/A to confirm both

I love that you always do these Fallout videos in your Vault Boy suit. 😎
Legend ESO , I will aways be here for this channel
Been doing this for years but good to see new players learning!
I literally downloaded it again after 7 years this morning and you’re uploading exactly what I need lol
That double up materials glitch has saved me soooo much time. Thanks for the info
Not quite ready for a break to redo fallout 4 with mods but dear God this sounds alot better than ever seeing that Statue again 😂
So glad you do these videos I’ve followed for years and love your amazing content ur my dude ESO
This is amazing.. cheers
11:17 nothing to see here just Michael Jackson moonwalking baseball statues into existence.😂
What a great video! I followed all your tips and now i have 30,000 copper and can level up as many times as i want. Freaking amazing thank you!!
The duplicate on keyboard is actually pretty hard
Yea I can’t do it
Ok, look, had to trial and error a macro(★☆☆☆☆: horrible do not recommend making a macro.)
Fun fact about this glitch, it has a step that needs to be within the same millisecond.
Keys are considered pressed when between up and down.
I'm going to transcribe the macro
▲ = key hits up
You can figure out the rest.
R▼

R▲
0ms (VERY IMPORTANT STEP, IT dies if too short, or too long.)
TAB ▼
225ms (to let everything load, it doesn't work without it.)
ENTER ▼

ENTER ▲
100ms (needs this one too)
ENTER ▼

ENTER ▲
375ms (don't know if needed, it worked though. Blood sacrifice was performed here)
TAB ▲
I had a faster one but it got purged along with many others.
Yes, a blood sacrifice was performed. yes, you may need to do one as well if you want this macro depending on your machine's spirit mine was annoyed that day.

Wow TY for your very concise, descriptive tutorials! Liked and subscribed!😊
Nice glitch, but I’ll do the experience farm the hard way 😊
It’s nice to know there’s no level cap in fallout cause I forgot about that.
I’ll look at your channel for some good tips on how to survive fallout 4!
Subscribed. By the way ❤
Bro this video is so good for me (i am stuck with 3 deathclaws with mid game loot and no escape) but with this i can Not die :] Tysm man keep up the content
who is cheating in 2024...thumbs up!!! :DDDD
Yea boi!
I started a new file earlier this week. First time I've exploited any glitches (10 stats right at the start). Before that, the closest I got to cheating was save scumming to get an explosive combat shotgun.
Its not cheating, to quote lord todd “it just works”
👍👍👍👍
I give myself resources at the start of my game so i dont have grind stuff to build my settlements
Thing that sucks about this is the clean up
Thank you, very helpful! Just went from level 39 to 50 this morning
This doesn't work for Pc as the store key is the tab key and the cancel key on the scrap tab is also the tab key. so when hitting the store key after the scrap key it cancels the scrap tab.
ESO is pretty smart with these guides. He knows that Fallout 4 and the other Fallout games are gonna gain more new players because of the show.
Recently found your channel. Keep up the great work
Tip for an Easy and Quick Saugus Ironworks Boss Fight (for PC only: Console unknown): You can break out of you dialog paralysis with Jake, by wildly swinging your mouse around.
I was aware of the copper statue and shelf build, but what about the Molotov Cocktail exp farming method?
You can also use this duplication glitch for unlimited caps too!
What a guide. Thanks so much, this is just what I was looking for to get some perks ready to explore the wasteland as your supposed to

In my opinion, the robot workshop XP glitch is better, but this one is still good. Nice video my man!

That line about “building a bunch of statues while walking down the street” cracked me up for how absurd an activity it sounded lol
@ the Spiffing brit by the power of Yorkshire tea I summon ye
Love your content, both Fallout and Skyrim. Keep the Good Stuff coming.
Do negative intelligence debuffs add to the frequency of Idiot savant? Say I already have 1 intelligence, and I have me a cold beer.
No. There’s a in depth thread on Reddit explaining it but 1 is the lowest % in terms of how often it will trigger any lower makes no difference
Thank you so much lmao I have trophies I wanna achieve but it would've taken far too long & mods deactivate them, this is quite the lifesaver
Very glad they didn’t patch the duplicate trick with the update
It's a feature at this point
i literally tried it so many times it doesnt work

This is my go to dude for fallout 4 content
this trick doesn't work on my pc, i think they fixed it
The item glitch is definitely a good find, thanks for sharing!
The glitch isn’t working for me 😢
the dupe glitch or the statute glitch?
On PC it still works. key is not to let go of store button. so press R let go R imediately press Tab and hold it. if done correctly 2 forms are displayed then press E twice and let go of Tab.
Why not just use console commands to level yourself up instead of going through all of this if you don't want to level up normally? EDIT: I wasn't thinking about console platform players, sorry.
Console players my man. 🍻 We gotta do things the buggy way.
@@xeslana1426 Ah, yeah, that makes sense!
Doing it this way will allow you to level up legitimately without any mods or other cheats. Allowing achievements as well
@@Om_64. I'm a new player to FO4 so I'm not aware of all of the achievements. Some of them are given for leveling up? I thought they were all linked to actual game activity.
@@todd.cannon I mean, isn't leveling up a game activity?
But yes, there are achievements for levels 5, 10, 25, and 50

the duplication of items at 9:00 doesn’t work for me on xbox. it showed up, then disappeared and i have not been able to get it back :(
Same on pc, this duplication thing does not work, I tried it out about a dozen times, but none of it worked...
I’m trying on ps5 rn but the game doesn’t register that I’m pressing scrap than store and just overrides the scrap botton
it works fine, im on xbox too
It takes a while, i did it 100 times and it worked like 30% of the time
U have to press scrap ever so slightly before store if it help your welcome
I think it's faster to go for both INT and the Savant. Youre still placong hundreds of items so the Savant perk will trigger no matter eventually and just stack above your existing INT based leveling boost
just remember once you have everything in the game, you’ll be bored
I’m reading this to late 😢😂
Have we ventured too close to the sun?
Platinum trophy player and I'm still fascinated by this game I still learn new stuff and discover new places all the time
Cap glitch: make a vendor stall of the highest cap requirement you can reach, then just use the scrap-and-store glitch to get back half the cost of the vendor stall infinitely, requires local leader at least and level 2 of that and level 2 cap collector for the most caps(to get the level 3 armour/weapon stand)
Thanks for the useful information
Ad victoriam
Thanks for the video! I finally understand how to duplicate stuff
There's also the "Robot CraftStation" exp glitch.
You would need the "Automatons" DLC and helped Ada..
If I remember correctly this exploit doesn't even require a ton of materials, you glitch out the menus and spam put a mod on a robot infinitely, material free minus the very first craft, then from there you just mash the craft button till your fingers numb lol
@@Shishomurui cant find a video on it. Its all people crafting 1 ahab helmet at a time. Ive been looking. And i ķnow this is real
All XP accumulated won't be shown until leaving the menus
Exiting the glitched menu will deleted the Protectron Torso from your inventory.
@@Shishomuru yoooo thanks a bunch. Can sometimes be tricky to get the timing right to get the correct overlay of the menus but this works GREAT. 👍🍻
Finally, I get this to work for me haha. Thank you
As a side note, if you don't want to have to deconstruct a bunch of statues, right at the start of the game you can make Molotov's...they give 15 XP each (75 with level 2 idiot savant) and you can build them super fast 😊😊😊😊
dont forget you can scrap the noted scrap at your settlement by simply dropping the noted scrap and using the workbench to scrap the notes simplicity itself
I like this guide better than the other guides I've seen about the copper dupe you explain it much better :)
good idea on seing the disciples in the thumbnail cant wait for u to talk about the automatron dlc xp glitch :D
Another tip is craft poison traps, Just need 5 Steel and you can sell it very expensive and get a lot of xp and caps
FYI to anyone else seeing this, they are found at the chem station to craft
man just started the next gen update and gonna start this for sure lol
It's not just any junk item it has to be the root material as in it can't be broken down into anything else. Like you can't duplicate a bag of Fertilizer it has to be the Fertilizer itself. Hope that helps
Let's goooo great vid. Liked and subscribed even though this is all I need lmao.
Making bleeding bear traps are a pretty effective way of get xp and caps as well.
Here’s a little tip if you don’t want to be scrapping all the stuff, first max the build limit, then place the statue or shelf and spam x and square rapidly.
Man am I glad Jake had that holotape on him for if and when he died in my play through. Don’t need Jake for the quest just his loot.

I may be wrong, but when you’ve over leveled up early in the game and only have a measly 10mm pistol… all I could say is, good luck dealing with high level enemies (especially those with a skull on their names)
