Excellent tutorial, Shari! I really need to learn to incorporate safeties in my game, I all too often go for super low percentage shots. Bad mistake.
I had to watch probably 3 or 4 times to get the concept stick to my brain. Safety shot isn't my cup of tea but it definitely brilliant move from a smart players
Hi Sharivari, nice videos as usual ,
I was in one situation where I sold out the game , it was a local tournament of 32 players , I was against someone where the race was up to 7 , and It was 6 to 6 , 😅
And at the end he missed the 8 ball and it was my turn...
The 8 was at 3rd diamond on one long side away of the cushion by 1/5 diamond, and the white ball was at the center pocket opening the other side, 😂
The 9 was at the same 8's side but closer to the corner pocket and away of the side cushion 1/5 diamond , but away from the same long cushion of the 8 by 3 diamonds...
Hope I explained the situation well enough...
I was forced to raise my cue a bit let's say 30 degrees, I planned for a safety but the white ball curved a bit and the black ball hit the side cushion and stopped near the corner pocket , instead of going to the side cushion or even behind the 9 ...
I sold it out , urrrr I regret that uup till now...😢
Is there a better way , can you give a hint

this is all well and good for nine ball, but how about eight ball?
Good for both, since u will have similar situations on both games
Why not just bank it in in 8 ball?
