The pilot is a feature. Even if you don’t watch the whole series, you should watch the pilot. It’s utterly amazing.

@lovorika2440 The episode I'm referring to is 'Definitely Miami' which is in Season 2. There's some other amazing episodes too to look forward too. There's 'Evan', 'Out where the buses don't run', 'Little miss dangerous' just to name a few. I genuinely envy you that you get to experience some of these episodes for the first time 😊.

@@lovorika2440Honestly, it's easier to tell you the bad episodes. Made For Each Other, The Big Thaw, Missing Time are the three I think get the most lowly rated. Viking Bikers From Hell as an honorary mention too, but that one has an asterisk as a production snafu (it was originally meant to be a movie but somehow became a tacked on episode).
Definitely my favorite episode of all time. Season 3 got dark gritty, and Season 4 definitely went a dark path. 5 wrapped things up as the 1980s were wrapping up and ending in 1989. USA channel picked up the extra episodes that NBC refused to air to give the show a small lifeline up to January 1990. I got the 5 dvd set which I plan to rewatch this year considering the show is going to be 40 this year.
Miami Vice is my favorite show. Ive watched all 5 seasons worth. When i watched the GTA 6 trailer I thought how cool it'd be to have an edit with this song. Amazing video.

Just watched the last episodes two weeks ago and now I’m on the unreleased episodes.
I can remember watching this show religiously next to Cheers and Magnum PI from 1984-89. Tom Selleck with the wise man mustache and smarts with the Ferrari, Ted Danson Sam Malone running the bar with his classic Corvette Stingray and getting the babes, to Sonny Crockette in his Daytona and Testarosa, pet alligator on a sailboat and going undercover with his tough guy good looks persona. After Miami Vice, NBC would show Friday Night Videos. Great time to watch television. I have all 5 dvd sets and plan to dust em off and watch every episode this year since the show is going to be turning 40. Also looking forward to playing GTA VI when it comes out. I hope they have it available in VR for the VR2 goggles. Played Gran Turismo 7 in VR2 and takes it to a whole new level in game simulation. Great job on editing here from Vice fan to another here. I also wanted to say Definitely Miami from Season 2 is my favorite episode, but I also liked the one where Crockette was in the Daytona pursuing the drug dealer who was running from Crockette in the Lambroghini Contach. Some good racing scenes in the show too with different sports cars of the 80s era.

I always thought that GTA Vice City was done so well because its creators were people who either spent their college or teenage years in the 80s. They simply had the best memories and contact with that reality. Nothing like it will ever be created again. Btw, 2002 and 1986 (the year of the GTA VC campaign) are only 16 years apart!!

it'd be actually good if GTA 6 is set to be on 80s, I miss the 80s feel like how the OG vice city shown me
I kinda disagree with GTA going back to 80s not that i dont like the 80s vibes but having a game that set on certain era it filled with limitations/possibilities like when it comes for music it needs to be filled with 80s-pre 80s music (70s 60s etc) meanwhile having a setting that set in current day there's more freedom to it. GTA its best to have progressive timeline if that make sense i mean they already explored the 80s, 90s, early 2000s, post mid 2000s and 2010s. they couldve make different IP that set in 80s. The 80s stuff (like the whole war on drugs) already been explored with VCS and VC also GTA only limited to being the criminal not the other side of the fence which couldve been more interesting if they make a Miami Vice type of game instead of being just another GTA.
