    Not sure I clearly stated it in the video, but the game is confirmed to use DLSS 3, which is good for RTX 40 series owners, however this also means it should support DLSS 2 for 20 and 30 series Nvidia users. It also seems to be included on the list of upcoming FSR2 supported games given recently by AMD: wccftech.com/amd-fsr-2-upscaler-confirms-compatibility-for-over-one-hundred-available-and-upcoming-game-titles/

    I'm not sure the new requirements are necessarily lower than before. "New" minimum requirements targets 720p at 30fps at low settings, while the "old" ones targeted 1080p 60fps at low settings.

    FYI if you cannot afford a large capacity SSD or nvme you can always buy a large mechanical hard drive for pennies on the dollar and use a cache program with a low capacity SSD or nvme. The program essentially takes the most used information from the hard drive and stores it in the SSD. This technique is primarily used on servers. But it works. I have a 4 TB hard drive cashing the most important game files to a 240 gig SSD and basically loads as if the game is directly on the SSD. Primo cache is the program I use. Now AMD does have something that kind of does the same thing but it's very specific on motherboard and CPU that you can use. Because like I said it's primarily used in servers.

Some hacker dropped a "patch" which not only made the game available for free but also totaly removed DRM from the game. And with that crack/patch the stutters were gone. So i had to use that crack for my game game copy which i bought. So not only game companies trying to make money by lowering perfomance (and honestly i am doubt that denuvo helps to sales at all) but they also just not dropping patches which should fix the isuues for your consumers. People weren't worried about the minimum being a 1070, it was that the minimum said a 1070 at 1080p with upscaling performance meaning that the game was internally rendering at 960x540 and at low settings to hit 60fps. Now if it was normal 1080p with no upscaling and 60fps people would of been far more forgiving even at just low settings. That would make it one of the most demanding games to have come out and that's what concerns people. What does that say about other more mid range PCs and their performance or how well it will perform on the consoles which are mid range PCs. Plus the game is getting a release on the switch, which so far isn't cloud streaming. That would mean a 540p render resolution on a 1070 while still being able to run on the switch makes no sense considering how much weaker the switch's GPU is.

Should be enough time for testers to nail down the most efficient settings (and give us a general review of the game).

    Hi everyone, hope you all have a great day. If you have any input on what new GPU I should buy, I highly appreciate your input. I choose mainly between RTX 4070 ti and RX 7900 XT, for 1440p gameplay and use of RT when available. Currently I use a GTX 1080. In Sweden the ca lowest cost of these GPU:s in USD (incl. VAT) are: 4070 ti - $1060, 7900 XT - $1125, 7900 XTX - $1425, 4080 - $1570, 4090 - $2260. I have checked the used market, prices for RTX 3000/ RX 6000 are so high it´s better value in buying new 4000/7000 GPU:s, in relation to performance + as well warranty. Have i5 12:th gen, DDR4. Sorry for language errors, English is not my native language. Thank you! :) Best regards

      @@becominggolden1525 Thank you so much for your reply! I agree, it´s a good choice regarding 1440p performance in my opinion especially also considering the encoders when streaming. I also target higher 1440p fps, since I like 120+ fps, although I don´t stream. I don´t like the pricing, of course, of the current GPU-market, but then again I also didn´t like the pricing during RTX 3000/RX 6000-gen. Let´s hope the prices will drop somewhat while we save up the money to buy a new GPU.

    • @mhult5873
      @mhult5873 Рік тому +1

      @@martinxyz Thank you so much for your reply! Yes, it´s true I should watch out for the cooling problem of AMD reference cards. Thanks for the input! I will go for other card than reference if I buy AMD. I´m still not sure about the RT, of course the 4070 ti performs better than 7900XT on RT. But 7900XT perhaps performs good enough RT, while sometimes perform better rasterization? Also I don´t like Nvidias choice of vram 192 bit memory bus, because I believe it hinders the 4070 ti performance at 4K, or perhaps future more demanding 1440p compared to a 256 or 320 bit bus? (I am also whining subjectively that in my opinion a 4070 ti-class card should not have as low spec. as 192 bit memory bus, especially at this MSRP price point). The extra vram amount on 7900XT I guess could, perhaps, come in handy for future 1440p gaming? I believe I need to check performance on specific game titles that I plan to game, as well as if 4070 ti:s 12 GB is enough vram for 1440p gaming or if 7900XT 20 GB vram is needed. (And also to check if it´s better relative value in performance in relation to MSRP with a RTX 4080 or RX 7900 XTX, as well as if I could save up for those two more expensive cards. Providing that I want to buy such expensive cards, even the 4070 ti is above my normal maximum MSRP). I guess I have to make som decisions, or wait to check what e.g. a future RTX 4070 will bring :)
