This felt like a Bob Ross tutorial witht the soft voice and the nice words "we all learn somewhere...", you know? Thanks for this

Girls without sisters...we spend a shit ton of time just trying EVERYTHING
you're right. my mom doesn't really know how to deal with me because i'm a mess so i spend to much time trying to learn stuff by myself.
Do a Go To Bed With Me pleaseee or a spa day with dodie, maybe. I think we'll enjoy that.
Oh yes!
*aHEM* “so you’re just gonna take the orange-“
As an oldest child whose mother doesn’t wear makeup, I learned how to do my own makeup mostly from UA-cam!!
“Dear Jesus!” 🤣 you surprised yourself with how quickly that escalated.
I really enjoyed this, the 50 minutes did scare me a little, but it was actually really easy and lovely to watch. I feel a little more relaxed :) thank you
I appreciate that eyeball analogy. It's really accurate! I'm gonna use that/keep it in mind from now on
Janine K 😉
I wish I had the energy to actually get ready for online school
Soap Artsy I have done nothing in the last 2 weeks
This is such a wholesome video, I think this is like my version of watching my mum and sister do their makeup 😂🥰
🙂 I love just watching people do their makeup and learning tips about how to use different parts of makeup. Its so calming as well
Can't wait for six months from now to discover a niche group of men who have blinded themselves in just one eye and seeing what horror story they've made up as a cover up for the fact they watched this video and got a little too curious as to just how hard they could touch their own eyeball.
Watching this to help me sleep while I’m stressed about school and unrequited feelings
god that was relatable
I got drunk off jungle juice and watched this in bed and I felt very much like a cat watching a laser pointer. Never been so enthralled in my life.
The Off Menu podcast is absolutely brilliant - also I never watch long videos usually, but oh my goodness I enjoyed this so much! So soothing and interesting xoxo
Aliyah I LOVE OFF MENU
@@caitlinsmith6975 poppadoms or bread?!!!!
Me the entire video: where did she get her pyjamas from?!
I think I started disliking my makeup free face because i got too used to my face with makeup? I would wear it everyday and my motivation shifted from having fun to covering my face.
I stopped wearing it everyday now.
kojagari mandal yeah it’s good to have days off to remember what your actual face looks like 😂
Makeup is cool and all but NoMakeup is honestly underrated
For me it's the exact opposite. I never do my makeup, mostly because it takes me so long that I'll just be late if I do, and it has gotten to the point where I hate my face with makeup, because I can't quite recognise it. That happens even if I just do my brows, since I have quite sparse ones.
A few months ago, I went to this graduation party and had my makeup professionally done -- it took all of me to not just wipe it off as soon as I looked in the mirror. It just didn't feel like me, and I didn't think I was gonna feel pretty if I didn't feel comfortable. Turns out I was right.
I didn't learn until I was out of uni and had UA-cam to help! My mum never wore makeup, and I had my makeup done for my graduation photos in secondary school.
Hazel has probably the most soothing voice on UA-cam!!!
Not only did I really want to watch it but I want more. As much as I hate the reason behind self-isolation, seeing all these youtubers go outside their comfort zone to come up with video content is great. I have loved all the "outside the norm" videos that you and others have made.
when you started singing "pick it off like mascara" all i could hear was "turn it off" from the book of mormon ahahahahah
Omg thank you. I've had that tune stuck in my head since she sang it and I couldn't work out what it was 😅
couldn’t fall asleep, got interrupted 105 times, remembered this video existed, i feel so much better
ive totally been feeling that nice makeup with pajamas look recently lol
Olive Bouseman it’s the only acceptable quarantine look
These little calm videos she’s uploading are helping me out so much with all the stress and worries lately ❤️ I love to just drink hot tea, lay in bed and listen to her. Thank you, Hazel!
i come back to this video so much. it makes me feel less alone, i just put it on in the background
i watched your meditation last night to fall asleep and i slept like a baby. now i’m watching this as motivation to get up and at least not sit in bed all day :) thank you so much for these
i really love having Just a Tip with Megan Batoon on in the background, it’s a really fun podcast and always makes me smile
i absolutely love this video. i hardly ever wear makeup, mostly out of laziness, but i've always thought of the process of applying it as super stressful even if i like the end result. this video reminded me that it absolutely can be fun and calming and self-care. tl,dr: thank you
Hazel!! Thank you so much for showing your face without makeup! This might sound weird but i see my make-up less face and criticise it because i feel like that's not what it's supposed to look like and seeing your face also without makeup just feels like a relief honestly, because it's not 'flawless' and that gives me a lot of confidence. Especially in quarantine i am only seeing faces with make up on instagram and UA-cam so this was quite refreshing to see. I love VEDISI so thank you so much and look forward to more videos ❤️
As a straight man who doesnt' really uses makeup on his evreyday life and put this video for background noice, I ended up recieving very good advice hahahah... and advice on makeup too
This is genuinely the highlights of my day it's really calming
The mascara picking tip just BLEW my MIND
I've been working on a lot of sewing projects which involves long periods of ironing/seam ripping/etc, and these have been lovely to listen to when doing slow hand tasks
Thank you this really helped me with good tips and stay calm! I hope you and yours are staying happy and safe!
Your chattering is so calming ❤️
I love this!! Watching people do their makeup is just relaxing and entertaining for some reason
I find these chatty GRWM videos just so soothing and relaxing! I watched this while doing some knitting and it was just what I needed to ground myself after an intense day. thank you
a great podcast that I love having as bg noise is wonderful by Rachel and griffin mcelory. they just talk about random things they like and why they like them. it could be the simplest of things such as walking or songs from old cartoons. stuff like that. it's lovely
this was the exact video i needed tonight!! my sleep schedule is a mess and this is so comforting and informative because i am as it turns out one of those gals without a sister to learn from. absolutely love this casual content hazel
"a lot of people think it's vanity but actually it's exactly the opposite" wow
this was so wonderful to watch/listen to during my bedtime routine. i’ve had poor mental health days recently but this was very calming and grounding. i am enjoying this vedisi so much!! thank you for everything you do
This video is so calming. I tend to watch GRWM's before bed as well.
These videos have genuinely helped me so much! Ever since I started self isolating, I've experienced a lot of anxiety and your videos have really helped me to calm down :)
I really enjoyed that Hazel. I haven't seen my sister in a long time and I miss her and you made me feel like she was home with me. To clarify she's not dead she's just self-isolating somewhere else.
You are smashing these isolation videos!
^^^
It’s been awhile since I’ve seen your videos show up in my feed, and I’m so glad I came across this one today. I almost forgot how comforting your voice is. You’re like the big sister I’ve always wanted. I must have been more stressed by life than I realized, because I became so overwhelmed by emotions just watching this and had a little cry. Thank you for your content
I've watched your videos only sporadically here and there over the years but as soon as this video popped up in my recommendeds I sighed of contentness seeing that there were more. I love this series and it has truly calmed me and made me feel less alone and now I've subscribed because I'm finding I really enjoy listening to you talk about absolutely anything. Thank you Hazel :)
i don't have a sister and i'm not particularly close with my mum so i grew up watching videos like this where it feels like you're hanging out with your older sister while she teaches you basic life skills, and i feel like I've gathered about 20 surrogate sisters over the years so thank you x
This was incredibly calming. I loved it.
I honestly love you and your voice! I'll watch the video once to get to sleep and again to actually watch the content. Thank you.
i love your videos like this, they're so relaxing! your voice is so very soothing and i (and i'm sure a lot of other people) need a lot of soothing right now
hazel your videos have been so calming for me. im on day sixteen of home isolation and i really appreciate a bit of calm.
I love this rambly chill video. This is so lovely.
i dont usually watch GRWM videos but i put this on because i've been vibing with your videos recently and i actually just started doing my makeup along with it. Havent done a full face since going into lockdown, so thanks for unintentionally inspiring me to do that
Thank you for making these videos Hazel, they really really help 💕
Thank YOU for watching
thanks hazel for being my honourary big sister tonight as I watch you get ready (and make me laugh when I should be sleeping)
this was so funny but so calming to watch, i loved it 😌🤍
Love putting your videos on in the background it's so so nice ❤️
i loved watching this. it reminded me of when i used to watch my mom put on her makeup in the mornings
Watching this while in the bath - very relaxing 10/10 would recommend
Loved this video! Was chuckling away to meself as I sewed a new top with this in the background :)
okay 1) YES to the eyeball conversation jesus 2) whenever you spoke to your hand and said "what are you doin??" I honestly cackled so that's where my sense of humour is at atm 3) really just been getting into your videos again recently and im so grateful to you for your continued greatness so thank you
The podcast Stuff You Should Know is awesome. It’s very chill and there are different topics every episode and the two hosts are really funny and chill guys. I listen to it when I’m getting ready for bed.
I never comment but I have to say I think this is one of my favourite videos from you which is nuts because I really didn’t see a GRWM being something that would be my fave but this is so calming I almost had to switch it off while I was working because it was making me sleepy! Loved this so much Hazel and I’m LOVING your isolation content as a whole tbh
i'm a nurse in a high level medical senior care facility, im sitting with a patient who is currently dying (in the next hour or so he will have finished passing) and i'm depressed and this video is just calming and it's good background noise for him too. i've worked nine days straight and this is a long and sad death (4 am now i've been here since 2pm) as he has bouts and struggles to breath and be conscious. the soft voice is just so calming and perfect for us right now... :,)
I’m loving these videos 💛
Also podcast recommendations: off menu, in the moment, the Horne section, in our own words (that’s mine lol), walking the dog
Thanks for getting everyones mind of everything :) totally forget how much I loved that Chanel foundation in the past! My biggest issue is the packaging when you are nearly out. Totally get the pressure thing though 😂 is actually a really good way to explain to a partner and get them to understand :) love your pjs too they are super cute!
Oh I love your quarantine videos so so much! They truly help me get relaxed and just stay in the moment. Thank you! Greetings from Sweden.
"This hand is just here again, what are you doing" hahaha
I loved this so much and the eyeball trick is actually SO genius! I was making some bracelets so it was really nice to listen to this! :)
Also some friendly skincare advice no one asked for, SPF 15 in a moisturizer is absolutely not enough against the sun. Everyone should be going for SPF 50 (if possible) and making sure it has both UVA and UVB ray protection. Also often the SPF stated in a moisturizer (even if 50) is not enough because you'd have to put an incredibly large amount to get that protection so just go for a sunscreen instead. I personally love the Purito Centella Unscented one!
Tani Maheshwari This is really good advice and (to be clear) I wear spf under my makeup all summer. Should’ve said really. Gotta protect that skin!
i've rewatched this video 4 times, every time i need some calm in my life i pop this on
You said at the beginning that you think it would be hard to learn how to do your make up if you don't have big sisters and I think that's true. Even more so because I have two brothers who sometimes make fun of me for wearing make up. So I put this on and listened to it as if you're my big sister teaching me how to do my make up and I learned a lot! This has made me more confident in wearing make up, just because I like it. So thanks sis :)
This video is great. The whole girl chat thing, the jokes. very natural and unfiltered I like it!
I’m just listening to these videos (not watching) to relax me as I feel very stressed - thank you for these videos - I really appreciate it
I really needed this -- kind of grateful for its length. Most of the things I typically enjoy on here are too loud/silly/fun for how I am feeling at the moment.
Having a bit of a health scare (unrelated to The Situation) and I got worked up figuring out the potential what ifs that may have to come of it. Worst case -- I will need hospitalization. No idea how that will work with The Situation and it's got me terrified.
Your calm voice mixed with a bit of levity really helped distract and soothe me and bring me to a place where I think I may be able to sleep. Thank you for that.
Hoovering with Jessica Fostakew is a lovely podcast just to have on. Some episodes are heavier than others, but all are full of joy, laughter, feminism and good food! Thanks for doing these videos Hazel, they make my day
I love this so much. Thank you for bothering to film and post this! That eyelid touching tip is actually a brilliant comparison.
💖💖💖💖
That whole eyeball pressure thing.... BIG YES.
Clicked on this to watch while i eat lunch and its made me so relaxed that im ready for a nap! Thank you!
was watching this whilst doing a mock exam paper and it really calmed me down, thank you :)
Your videos have definitely been helping with my anxiety!!
This video was so incredibly relaxing :)
There are only 2 podcasts I listen to, purely because they are so light-hearted.
1. Potterless - a podcast about an American man who has never read the Harry Potter books reading them for the first time. You get to relive the experience of the books without actually reading them. He can be quite critical and goes on big rants about the plot holes and British things he just doesn't understand. He also has guests who are all huge Potterheads which is quite funny.
2. Private parts - features two posh boys (both who have been on Made in Chelsea) discussing their week. It's basically just two friends chatting and joking about everything and anything.
The best thing about these is that you can zone in and out and not really care if you missed anything!
Petition for hazel to do a full ASMR video doing her eyebrows and repeatedly whispering "just little lines, little lines.."
Shagged, Married Annoyed by Chris and Rosie Ramsey is such a great podcast!!
this was very soothing to watch! it was also very telling to hear about how you perceive your appearance throughout the process because i thought you were stunning every step of the way, including when you were bare faced. we look at ourselves in such a nitpicky way that most people really wouldn't and i never remember that! you simply are beautiful and your style is a great way for you to express yourself but your beauty is really inherent to who you are y'know? don't mind me, i'm very cheesy. thank you for uploading these videos hazel 💛
bel do ceu we are our own worst critics for sure ☺️
Love these videos! They are genuinely such a nice distraction from all this. Sometimes having youtube videos on in the background is just too chaotic. But you keep me relaxed! For some fun lighthearted podcasts, I quite like the Supermega cast. They are just two guys being silly and having the darkest humour and they really crack me up. Keep up your amazing work Hazel!
Tatum Luiten thank you! And thanks for the recommendation!
now you've got me wanting to listen to the book of mormon soundtrack again lol
i for one absolutely love these videos and look forward to them quite a bit, you're a super calming presence and always have something interesting to say :")
i really enjoy grace helbig and mamrie hart's podcast "this might get weird", it's consistently hilarious and very lighthearted. also whenever i want to have something on in the background that i can sort of drift in and out of paying attention, i put on an audiobook of one of my favorite books. i already know what happens so i don't feel the pressure to listen intently or finish it if i don't have the time, and it's nice to revisit favorite characters. i find agatha christie books are particularly wonderful for this!! there are websites where you can buy audiobooks, but i'm a librarian so i always encourage people to see if their local library uses the libby app and overdrive (basically digital libraries where you enter your library card number and have access to thousands of free e-books and audiobooks)!!
i hope you're doing well as always, and i'm sending much love to you and yours!! :")
I absolutely love your content. It’s so therapeutic and refreshing. Also, that top looks SO comfy! Where is it from?🥺
Me: oh look, a hazel video, how lovely!
Me after seeing how long it is: oh jESUS I’M IN HEAVEN
omg! I have the same thing - i’m also left handed but do everything else the right handed way, I think the mirroring other people is such a good point! Like doing sports like tennis I would always serve the right handed way and I would hate it when teachers gave me left handed scissors bc I had no idea how to use them!
The podcast ‘Fireside’ has been my go to - it’s all about Irish mythology and how this guy is trying to bring back the cultural tradition of Irish storytelling 😍
Bumbellina I’ll be sure to check that out!
Just to check, is this the one by Kevin C. Olohan at HeadStuff? I want to get the right one.
These vids help me so much!!
this reminds me of when my sister was in like middle school and highschool and she'd wake up before the sun and she'd start getting ready and I'd lay in bed and listen to her talk or I'd talk to her. and it really just took me back and relaxed me during this stressful scary situation. I'd like to say thank you for this lol. for really.... I mean in a way taking on the big sister role. I loved it. love the video. I haven't watched you in so long so I'm sorry. I'm coming back though.
listen to phone a friend, it's super lovely to listen to, just two friends chatting
Chanel vitalumiere aqua is my favourite too, it is gorgeous!!! I love to splurge on some makeup 😍😍
"there's no point in fighting the natural colour of your eyebrows.... i mean i dye these !" hahaha love it
i wish i was this productive. i literally played zelda for eight hours straight lmao
Lovely video! I've been listening to Bon Appetit Foodcast! Very chill, and at least for me, relaxing and fun.
