I'm not 100% sure, but I think on his high-hat work he's bouncing the stick so that the back behind his pinky strikes the edge for another hit. Interesting thing is that this also shows off he's learned something he said he'd never figure out -- the toe-heel technique. So he's still learning new tricks himself!
as far as practice goes. He hasn't shown his shitter, but I bet he has a kit in there too.
Hmmmm….good point, he may be doing that. The heel-toe technique is so useful and something I continue to work on! I may throw up a video of how I use that technique for doubles. Music is definitely something you can spend a lifetime on and always keep learning!
