Every belt won and every defence on foreign soil. Absolutely brilliant.
The duboius fight wasn't that was his homecoming in poland obviously it cant be in ukraine now but that might aswell have been all the crowd was for him
Not only did he prove he's an all-time great, Usyk proved without a shadow of a doubt he's the best cruiserweight and heavyweight of this generation 🏆🥊
And it’s inspiring. Especially when hear people saying that it’s impossible, you too small , you don’t have one punch ko, you are middleweight, good big guy always beat good small guy , when you hear all this bullshit , just remember Usyk
By beating a guy who almost nearly lost to a ufc fighter with no pro boxing fight .lol😂😅😅.. yeah ok ..
@@Michael-zh8ylby beating anyone and not just 1 greedy maniac, you're missing the point there.
@@Michael-zh8ylThat UFC guy would destroy a lot of fighters…..
He's the cruiserweight GOAT imo.
Definitely the right champion for the times. Fit in all ways.
The right champ for any time.
He’s beaten Joshua, fury and Dubois. That’s a serious achievement
Also Joe Joyce when younger and all the best creiser weights
Let Me add a few more great names to that list: Beterbiev, Hunter, Huck, Briedies, Gassiev, Bellew & still undeafted.
@@Alexanderpaal67 yep he beat Beterbiev 2x as well.
derek chisora beat him
@@luisluis5306 no he didn't, close fight though
100% agree. Usyk is already on the all time great list, and he still has a very promising career ahead of him if he decides to stay in the fight game.

@@boxing4life410come on bro, for how he dealt with fury mocking him, his team and assaulting his teammate. For me he is an all time great for that. Heck might as well throw ngannou in there as well 😂 as everything went down hill from there I guess….
YES
The fact that everything he's achieved at a world level was done on the road makes it all so much better 🥊💯
Thank you Teddy.Usyk absolutely belongs. At 67 I have seen many greats and Usyk fits right in.Usyk won all his major fights on foriegn soil.A great explorer...the Magellan of boxing
I wouldnt blame usyk for retiring( he has nothing else to prove?) he has cemented his legacy as the best HW of this era and one of the best of all time, absolute LEGEND🥊🥊
If I was him, I would have nothing more to do with fury he doesn't owe Aj a 3rd fight and it's the perfect time to retire, that will hurt fury more, not giving him the chance of redemption , people say he should offer him a low cut, mess him around, he's too classy for that, his best move would be retire, he's got more money than he can spend, the only other thing he could do now is have another couple of fights and donate the money to Ukraine .. Do what fury promised and didn't deliver
@@TheDreamer1980 He prolly has a contact that stipulates certain things in regard to a rematch. Nobody is going to pay him tens of millions for the first bout if he is just going to retire.
@@seancidy6008 I know he's contracted but there's, ways out if it obviously , to be fair though he's already made it pretty clear he's not retiring so it's prob going ahead anyway unless fury has a good think and decides he's retiring himself.... I think Aj/fury should go ahead first after both him and fury each have competitive fight, maybe fury, /Zhang and Aj/hergovic , they both get through those, they fight.... The winner fights usyk late 2025 .... Aj still really needs a decent fight before he's proved he's "back" Hergovic is capable of an upset and Aj might lose that momentum again, then fury will fancy it more.... Lot of factors, at play to get Aj/fury on I think
Nothing like beating a retired out of shape Fury and then calling yourself the goat
@@charliedaniels1 whats your point? usyk is even older at 37 and hes beating everyone put in front of him and the very best at HW and cruiser weight( including) Fury, Aj twice, dubois, chisora, bellew, breidas, beterbieve and even joe joyce going way back..what more can you ask for ??
Wiped the floor with the CW division became undisputed. Then became undisputed in the HW division in a few fights. Definitely one of the best
I'd say he wiped the floor with the HW division aswell
I'm soooooooo thankfull for this great era of boxing we are living, for Usyk and Fury and Inoue and Crawford and Betterbiev and Bivol.... And i'm so thankfull that we can live it with the fight crew, Teddy, Ken and all the guys that make it possible. Won all his fights via clean boxing. No fouling, cheating, trying to gain unfair or fair advantages at the negotiating table.
Never ducked, never avoided certain styles, or refused to fight outside is country. In fact, he jumps at the chance to fight his opponent's in their backyards on a deck stacked heavily against him. He's forged a career doing that
Is very humble, respectful, classy, charismatic, funny, very likeable and he has been a great ambassador for the sport
And he's one of the most fearless fighters to ever lace up a pair of gloves and has unshakable self-belief
How can anyone not like and respect Usyk immensely? He's one of the greats already and he did it the hard way
Brilliant comment back by unbelievable statistics.. all time great indeed, may I just add a wonderful family man and devout Christian as well as a great nationalist who loved his country and heritage ...
respect for this, and agreed
Superb hope this gets highlighted facts 💯 %
It’s so sad somehow some people still don’t give Usyk the respect he deserves - I can’t honestly think what else he could have achieved in so few fights as a pro? His legacy also seems to be improving when you saw how Breidis performed against Opetaia recently and AJs fights since. Usyk has beaten the best of todays crop. I think he will be more appreciated with time and retirement. Best CW of all time and needs to be in the discussion around best boxer of all time as his achievements are unique. I also believe he’s have been a problem at HW in any era.
Absolutely 100% spot on!!
I think it's safe to say that. He's won it all that makes him pretty great. I'm a Fury fan but Uysk performed above and beyond what I thought he could do. I'm looking forward to the rematch which regardless of what happens doesn't make me think less of Usyk.
Only in this era with only 22 total professional fights, with just a few heavyweight fights.
@@cnwil4594 obviously he's not the Goat of Goats. For me, that is George Foreman. I believe he is the greatest of all time in any era.
I still wouldn’t back against Fury in the rematch. He’s got too much heart n pride. People don’t talk about Fury being Usuk’s toughest fight. I can see Fury stopping Usyk he needs to make a few changes in his corner though ha John Fury what a doilem

Usyk taught me the world isn't flat. Thank you Usyk.
Love the uysk chant at the end
Had me chanting it over breakfast
If his superhuman endurance is natural, Usyk is the greatest athlete of any kind ever.
Can't believe how he shrugged Fury off in the 11/12th. unreal
And at 37!. Lennox Lewis was 37 in the klitschko fight where he was exhausted, Ali was 38 in the Larry holmes fight.
@@thore589 Athletes do seem to be able to maintain their peak for longer and longer nowadays. I'm not sure if its down to substances or them just taking better and better care of themselves. That said, I don't think his endurance is that crazy, at least not to the point where it looks suspicious. He moves a lot but he definitely slows down in fights and has been hurt to the body multiple times.
@@davidhughes8795 There have also been some really good fighters who've been avoided in their prime. Wladimir Klitschko, GGG, Usyk, have all been 36 or older before they got the really big fights.
@@thore589 Totally agree. For me, the first Canelo vs GGG fight always serves as a reminder not to take the sport too seriously, it was an utter robbery.
And that women is STILL judging fights.
Became undisputed in only 6 fights as heavyweight that record will never be beaten ever 😊. Rematch in December 24. Usyk has beaten 2 best of this era AJ fury.
He’s the best that the heavyweight division has to offer right now. His skills are so smooth. Watching him work in the ring is literal art. I love his resolve. The fight between him and fury was like watching the t-800 (fury) go up against the T-1000. Uysk is just built different he’s technically slick. His endurance is insane. I’ve never seen fury under so much pressure. Fury always did say he had the most trouble with cruiserweights.
He’s a living legend. Usyk has never ducked a fight and was always down to do it when challenged. One thing people should remember when thinking about Usyk is he’s also a respectful guy. There’s no overt ego and dude is kind to everyone. You gotta respect that. It was never really about money with him. He loves boxing and it shows. He’s cemented his legacy and I agree with Teddy. He should be number one. Huge respect to Crawford for even saying that himself. That guy is awesome as well along with Inoue. All three are nice dudes.
Usyk is above and beyond all the time great 100%. Two times, an undisputed champion in two weight divisions, by just having fought only 22 times. A legend .
he isnt in the same list as Rocky Marciano YET (rocky was 49/0 43 knockouts) but if usyk carries on............HE WILL BE
I'm calling Usyk the best of this era. Of any fighter of this era.
And Ali himself said that boxers become better and better. So ...
@@johnsun3854 I don't see Usyk making it 3 rounds against Mike Tyson though..
@@headshot6959 I don't get this Mike Tyson worship. He must be the most overrated fighter ever. He has never beaten any elite boxer thats not far past his prime like Larry Holmes.
People should stop. Tyson couldn't even finish some much worse boxers. Tyson is not even in the same league as Usyk to be honest.
@@johnsun3854 No worship. You might have the proclivity to worship but you shouldn't project your own daftness onto other people, sunshine. Stop it. I could explain why Usyk would struggle with a shorter fighter who throws powerful combinations inside, but it would be too technical for you.
@@headshot6959 It's just a figure of speech pal, don't get you knickers in a a twist.
You took it too personally. But Tyson is overrated is what I'm saying and many boxing experts are saying the same thing. It is just a very unpopular thing to say.
Well go ahead explain why it aint so. And who did Tyson actually beat in his career thats elite and not way over the hill?
Or insult me and run away, your choice.
Usyk One of the Man's who earn everything he got, he deserves to be in a top list for sure. There's no too many boxers who accomplish what he did, his resume speaks for itself, people might not like him, but they have to respect resume. He's one of the greatest boxers ever. And young generation need to learn how to work hard. Watch his style. Basically learn what boxing is not always one shot. Knockout but the foot work hand work hard work at gym, never mind that his Olympic gold medalist and undisputed cruiserweight and undisputed heavyweight. Anyone who doubts how good he is. Check everybody else resume Did they accomplished what he did. In this day and age of boxing he did something that nobody else wants to do.
He's done what is necessary for the conversation. He is the undisputed, and unified champ. He behaves like a champion and didn't cherry pick his way through a career. Which with four belts per division, is an easy business decision for fighters and their management to make. He chose to try to be the best. Where I would rank him I don't know, but he behaves like one of the old school champions and I appreciate that.
What an amazing video and amazing fighter. That ending fired me up!
Usyk will beat Fury again in the rematch. Absolutely no doubt in my mind.
I know it’s a subjective topic and people are gonna have their personal favourites, but for me Usyk is the greatest of all time.
Look at the success he has achieved and his body of work, all whilst remaining undefeated throughout his entire career.
I think he’s a genius.
He'll ko him next time. Got another gear. Fury can only ko him to the body
Usyk and sugar ray robinson easily
To me he is 🐐. Lighter fighter moves a weight by +\- 1 kg. Usyk is fighting 20kg heavier guys in HW and dominate one after the other
One of the greatest videos/analysis of what unfolded and transpired from the undisputed heavyweight championship. The way you broke it down is amazing illustrating how much more powerful and influential it is in reality than most will ever fathom. The Columbus analogy is so clever it exemplifies Teddy's awareness that a certain percentage of the audience (non boxing fans) will understand his point only with these carefully chosen words. Remarkable. And at the end the video, the Power of the name USYK "USYK USYK USYK USYK" He chanting it exactly how we were hearing it many many times in the week leading up to the fight. Well done Teddy. I'm saving this video for the ages, cause it is relateable to anything in life. "DON'T STOP YOU CAN GO FURTHER".
Beautifully said.
Saw your words to towards a 15yr old Mike tyson crying it was amzing coaching sir 👏 ❤
He is also the unified cruiser and now unified heavyweight champion. If this isn’t enough to be among the greatest- I don’t know what it takes
What a great speech :) I would argue that he might be on the top of this hall of fame. What he achieved is unprecedented.
Hilariously I had some clown telling me I didn’t know anything about boxing when I said that Usyk was the greatest fighter of his generation. Even after beating Fury. Absolutely mental.
Well said Teddy 💪

Best of this era...all time great...guys done well...
You took us somewhere Teddy, somewhere beyond boxing.
You know who shows me we can go further? Teddy Atlas. The man f'ing gets it. He gets it.
If Usyk was the same size as these enormous heavyweights I wouldn't give it a second thought about a rematch. The fact he overcame two guys with all the physical advantages over him at heavyweight feels his achievement is so much greater than if they were to beat him. For that reason that's why I want the great man to retire.
I don't think if he was their size he'd be able to move the way he does. He's a big guy anyway and he still moves like a cat.
The 2 biggest names of this era were Fury and Joshua ! He beat both and is Undisputed ! What else to do ? Usyk was born on Ali's birthday too !!!
What more do you want the guy to do ? He's done everything to deserve the utmost praise and respect from all men. That's it.

Fury weighed 16% more than Usyk in that fight. For Bud to match that he would have to fight a guy who weighed 178 while Bud remained at 154 so that's a super welterweight fighting against a light heavyweight. That would be like Bud fighting Beterbiev without gaining any weight. And it is because of that I have to agree with you. That's not taking anything away from Bud because in my opinion he is still the most talented fighter I have ever seen. Honestly, it brought tears to my eyes when I saw Usyk step into the ring against Fury because of the size difference and because of the sheer determination of Usyk to disregard that. The courage of Usyk is hard to comprehend. The next morning I woke up thinking about that fight and again tears came to my eyes because Usyk in that fight represented every underdog that ever lived. What Usyk proved was that it's not the size of the dog in the fight that wins but the size of the fight in the dog that wins the war. This type of weight disparity can only be witnessed at heavyweight. No other weight class can display this much of a weight difference so it cannot be matched by anyone in any weight class other than heavyweight and it's because of that that I got to agree with you on the P4P list. Bud would never be expected to fight against anyone with that much of a weight advantage.
But what is special about Usyk? I'm a student of boxing since I was two years old and after examining Usyk what I have to say about what is special about Usyk is that GOD fights with him and as long as Usyk keeps GOD on his side he will never lose. Watch Usyk fight and you'd say he's an okay fighter but nothing extraordinary. He's average in most ways but somehow he wins over and over again even against guys he's got no business being in the ring with like AJ and Fury. So that's what I mean when I say GOD fights with him so if you want to see what a miracle looks like just go back and watch Usyk fight AJ and Fury because whether you realize it or not you are watching real life miracles occurring right before your eyes.😊

He definitely has a chance to be on the shortlist... but only if he finishes his career in style. If he loses 4 of his final 6, as he gets older, he will blow it. I would like to see him win the rematch and defend the title at least 2 more times before he gets into the conversation.

Usyk is the flavor of the month. After Crawford fights... and then Inoue... we'll go on the Merry-Go-Round again.
Crawford didn't fight Mayweather or Pacquiao.
Crawford doesn't have an opponent of that calibre now neither does Inoue.
Even more remarkable is that he achieved this while his country is at war
Наша зброя в цей момент -
вподобайка і комент !
Usyk has gone to the opponents back yard and been the B side in every fight...that means not only less money but officials, referees, judges and even commentators are against him. This has never been done before let alone in 2 weight classes and i doubt i will ever see anything like this again in my lifetime. To add to that he's an honorable righteous man, a truly remarkable champion that deserves everyone's respect. He is making boxing great again.
Been loving Usyk long time. Since Ali Trophy days
I think people miss the fact that Usyk was the Undisputed ,Undefeated Cruiserweight Champion of the World. Thats boxers up to 200lbs . All these great fighters of the past ,Louis,Marciano,Dempsey and if you want to look at another group when they were at their best Frazier ,and even Ali none accomplished what Usyk did, especially at his age of 37. Incredible .
Usyk actually makes a lot of sense. He’s a cruiser weight that can take a shot from a heavyweight. Cruiser-weights are more economical and therefore capable of higher outputs, but they’re not supposed to be a able to take heavyweight power. A champion cruiser weight who can take a heavyweight’s power will win everytime
Monster bud and usyk are all time great pfp fighters no doubt...
Surgar Ray Robinson never waited 6 months after a tough fight
Usyk the great! 💪
The thing is Usyk put on a good performance against Fury. Fury outghwieghed him by 40lbs and was 5 inches taller (even for the shitalkers saying he's probably only 6'7 or 6'8, thats' not the point, points he is HUGE compared to Usyk gargles).
To put on this sort of performance, even if it was a close fight, but to be able to do that with a 5 inch and 40 lbs disadvantage, is insane....
And while Fury is that big, he's consistently shown throughout his career that even when he's out of shape and doesn't prepare, he CAN go 12 rounds no issue and he is fast.. He has no speed or stamina issues.. so he's not one of the blundering big giants.
What rank all-time ?
Usyk is a SUPER GREAT UNDISPUTED-UNIFIED UNCONQUERED CHAMPION and a great inspiration to many people around the world🏆🏆🏅POWER UP CHAMP!
Top 5, Usyk is there
I personally think you could have either at number one pound for pound (uysk and Crawford) and you're not wrong that's how close it is
What about Naoya Inoue? Best I've seen in a long while! Speed, boxing ability, great body puncher, great stamina. Best pound for pound in my opinion. Second only to Sugar Ray Robinson.
I've got a interesting question who's name holds more weight in the history books oleksandr usyk or wladimir klitschko
Usyk for sure now
That is an interesting question considering the how long Klitschko was champ and who he competed against. I don't know the real answer but it feels like Usyk right now.
Evander Holifield!!!!
As a Ukrainian I remember the TVshow I watched after the Klychko vs Furi. There were both Klychko brothers and young Usyk. Olexander said in a very straightforward manner: I will beat Fury one day.
Vitali was better than Wladimir. Wlad had a weak chin
Unfortunately for Inoue, there’s a a little bit of a lack of competition and he doesn’t get the amount of eyes on him that he deserves. Phenomenal boxer and certainly in the, one of the greatest, list. No one could argue logically against that
Agree Uysk is one of the best pound for pound ever.
He needs to defend the belt awhile.
The rematch is set for December
I came for the boxing and stayed for the philosophy
Yes he is a hall of famer for sure.
Although a fit Ruiz is a bad style for Usyk.
Nobody on the list ever done and won what usyk has. He should retire now at 38 unbeaten as he has nothing left to achieve in boxing
Usyk will be READY❤
I think everyone would love to see Usyk/Fury 2 but I have my doubts so how about
Usyk/Opetaia? How much would that fight rock!?!?
Yes, he is. We don't need any "expert's" opinion about this undeniable fact. Even if he had been knocked out in one round by Fury, he would still be a legend.
9:00 this must be a good meme
Usyk its cleared the goat. He beat fury.
Usyk its better all time. No doubt.
Usyk doesn t allow to many punches on his face like ali.
Usyk cardio and techique its another level
Definitely YES, it is only a question because it's not Fury who wins🥊🥊🥊
He the best period of this time …: fought the hardest competition from all undisputed rn , I mean he beat fury the giant and fury hasn’t lost in 20 years 😮😮
Usyk's achievements are bordering on the miraculous but I would argue that he has not yet become an all-time great at HEAVYWEIGHT because there's not enough depth to his resume in that division. The greats of boxing did more than just win titles. They cemented their legacy by making multiple defences against top contenders. It would be a great shame if Usyk never defends the undisputed title that he has just won.
