I've been using your tones for a little over a year and a half now, and before they were good, but was missing something that I couldn't put my finger on. I'm currently learning trapped under ice fully through. And I seen you dropped an updated rtl tone. I was like hmm? I wonder why he dropped this I thought his previous version was really good, but it had that issue I couldn't figure out. And then I downloaded it tried and and was puzzled because the katana was making noises that sounded so similar to the recording that my ears were getting graced by the hand of god. I wanna say whatever you did during the making of this tone, holy crap keep it up.
the more i make tones the better i get at it. my original RTL tone definitely needed a revision. i’m a lot happier with how this sounds and im glad it sounds good for you too! that first tone had way too much mids. also wanted to include some more tones off the album like the fade to black lead and the ktulu clean
@@Synthedelic Getting a lot of high pitched screeching, and passive feedback from my amp with this tone when not plying any notes, any ideas on fixing those? Other than that the tone is solid. I will say I raised the gain to 40 or so to make it sound a bit chonkier / to emulate multi tracking somewhat could that be causing it?
@@yunguitarYT if you’re facing your amp with loud enough volume it will always feedback. if you raised the gain it will also make it easier for feedback to happen. i would increase the bass knob, or increase some bass on the first GEQ to chonk it up
i try to make all my patches roughly the same volume. i use the 0.5w setting and the master is around 8 o’clock. i don’t usually ever change the master.
for my videos it’s a direct download. then you unzip to a folder of your choice. then on the katana in librarian there’s an import symbol on the top right.

i don’t think so. but you could translate it over by copying
