Depending on whether the Prosecution or Defense is asking questions and presenting evidence I keep changing my mind on Guilty or Innocent. Great Writing, Great Directing and Great Acting. Thank-you for the upload.
Indeed, an excellent series and glimmer evidence why UK court/crime series are by far superior to those in the US based by excellent plots, acting and efforts to recreate a real court ambiance. . Just sorry I could not see the 1st episode due to ownership complain-restrictions which incidentaaly are silly considering we are allowed to see all remaining parts. Lacks sense. Anyway, thank you so much and warm greetings from Portugal .
The birthmother's story, her regret, her anguish was well-written and well-acted here, an authentic and moving performance. I do, however, sometimes get a little tired of having an adoption story jump out in almost every show on tv. At least this time we haven't been subjected to the ubiquitous murderous adoptee.
Riveting. Nice acting by all. Does Season 2 of 2011 have the same cast? Link? (Can't seem to locate it.) Thank you, Ms McCrory... and my compliments on your OBE!
Voir Dir was hilarious for me. It was a civil trial. The attorneys for the deceased went fishing. It was when NYPD had just settled 2 internationally known killings by cops. 😂 They "understood" if we felt sorry for the cops. I was the only on one to laugh. I was picked and the family got 15 million.🎉 unanimously from the jury.🤙
We talked about it in the jury room every day before we were supposed to. Duty down there meant Little Italy lunch or genuine Chinese food from THE Chinatown. We knew the verdict, but lunch was delicious everyday.
Great series. I'm really enjoying it. But since I like to nitpick, I think I found a small flaw in one of the details of the story: At 8:40 the juror tells his wife, "If I tell them, they'll stop the trial." (I won't say what this is about, to avoid spoilers.) But how would he know that? That decision was made, but it was kept confidential. Still, a minor quibble.
It's difficult to enjoy stories about betrayal. That's worse than murder. That's why the penalty for treason is execution. This story's subplot of betrayal complicates the main plot too much as far as I'm concerned. The victim's family's plans to kill the defendant are enough of a distraction.
The complexities and unreliability of the human' character. Psalm 118:8 the central verse of the Christian' bible. "Better to trust in God than in man(kind)."
I love jury duty. I have only been on 3 and I'm older. 54. Grand Jury, here in Manhattan, was one of the best.
Thanks. I'm watching all of it.
Brilliantly written, great cast and acting, soundtrack also works beautifully. Classy production all round. Thank you very much indeed for posting

Peter is a spineless toady but his father in law is truly vile. Thanks Helen McCrory for these uploads.

The Brits do it best.
The close up's are not close enough, could still see one half of their faces.
Very good series, a little to much personal on the individual juris.👍🇨🇦
