Bee Gees Our Love Don't Throw It All Away Live in Las Vegas in 1997 One Night Only in memory of Andy Gibb, its a big emotion for me tears in my eyes to see this sublime song Tribute to their 4th brother left too quickly in only 30 years old in 1988, as I have been fortunate to have known this magnificent family well for more than 53 years having met them often in my work and all of them have always been magnificent people and with a big heart too, and I still communicate sometimes with the only one who remains Barry Gibb who this sad sense of being the only one who remains alive ... very moved...
I always start crying watching the scenes on screen of Andy. But then suddenly Andy is singing and I see that look on Barry's face. It's a mixture of love and pain. RIP Andy, Robin and Maurice.
This one was beautiful ,but sad. I cried when Maurice glanced over at Barry as he was getting emotional. These guys are amazing.BeeGees wrote this song for Andy, and sang on it with him. They adored him.He seemed so sweet.
I’ve watched this a million times and it still gives me goosebumps!! It brings a tear every time! Barry and Andy were very close and it’s just a shame that he didn’t get to join his brothers like they planned!
Many thanks for that beautiful reaction, what a beautiful performance, but what a tradgic live that Andy lived, from my memory he started a very successful singing career, then with huge success, succumbed to drugs, in the meantime he lovingly married actress Victoria Principal but passed away at a very young age of 34yrs...Another brilliant artist with so so much potential ....
They were engaged but he never married Victoria Principal. He passed away 5 days after his 30th bday in 1988 from myocarditis, which was attributed to his prior drug use.
Hola Sassy.. gracias por recordarnos ésta hermosa canción interpretación de Andy Gibb (RIP) y que en ésta oportunidad fue presentada por sus hermanos en homenaje a su memoria.. ¡Extraordinarias! 👏🏼👏🏼
They wrote a song in 1989 for Andy just after he had passed away. The song is called "Whish You Were Here". A very beautiful and sad song. They have never performed this live as it was too emotional for them. Try to react to that one.
I've watched this video many times. And I'm always good until it gets to the part where Barry is watching Andy sing. The look on Barry's face it's like a mixture of love and sadness. Then I break. Barry and Andy were very close. Barry said in a later interview that losing Andy nearly broke him. They don't just sound alike, if you look at photo's of Barry in the late 60's, he looks just like Andy. RIP Andy. We miss you.
The Bee Gees wrote the song for Andy and also did the back up vocals for it. Barry Gibb will still do some concerts and show video clips of his Brothers singing. Barry Gibb in a interview he is still second fiddle to the Bee Gees. He said he always was. He said he can not replicate what he had with them.
Hi Lovely Sassy, this reminds me when Brian, at one of Queen's concerts started playing Love of my Life and then Freddie came on the screen behind him, which was a beautiful moment, you could tell that at the time Barry, Robin, and Maurice still missed Andy at the time in this video, a beautiful song and tribute to Andy, RIP Robin, Maurice, and Andy!! 😀 😀 🙏
The big thing about Andy Gibb's voice is he's a natural at that high range but Barry has to use his falsetto to get there if you think about it it takes tremendous breath control for Barry to do the same thing that Andy does naturally.
Barry wrote this for him and they sang back up on his recording. They actually do sound vary similar as well look very similar. Andy wanted to emulate Barry, he always looked up to him. They actually wrote a song for Andy about 6 months after Andy died ( Wish you were here); however, it became too hard for them emotionally to perform live, so they dedicated this song. If you haven’t already check out (wish you were here).
This was actually written by Barry & Blue Weaver, with just Barry on backing vocals. He sang on almost all of Andy's albums, but the twins only sang backup on Desire.
The Bee Gees wrote and sing all of the songs that they wrote for Andy as a matter of fact just before Andy died they were making arrangements to become a foursome the Bee Gees was going to be very Robin Maurice and Andy but Andy died from the damage from his drug abuse over the years
Andy wrote many songs himself, or often co-wrote with Barry. Mo & Robin only helped write 3 songs. Barry sang on every album and produced them with Albhy & Karl.🎼
It's funny you talk about Andy like that because Andy and bury both have very similar voices if you look up a song by the Bee Gees called words you will see that Barry is the solo singer on that song and if you also look up that song Under Andy Gibb you will hear his version of it again the song title is words and I think you will be surprised at just how close Barry and Andy sound singing that song.
Just want to take a second here to correct you you said this is Andy song and inasmuch as he made a hit out of the song yes however in reality it is a Bee Gees song written by the Bee Gees pacifically for Andy and it's always been in their repertoire of songs. The Bee Gee's have written over 100 hit songs for themselves and many other artists.

Number 1 fan of Andy Gibb here and so of his brothers the Beegees as well.
This was actually written by Barry & Blue Weaver for one of Andy's singles for his Shadow Dancing album.🎼
Gone to soon. This always makes me cry.
I’ve watched this a million times and it still gives me goosebumps!! It brings a tear every time! Barry and Andy were very close and it’s just a shame that he didn’t get to join his brothers like they planned!

The songs of Andy you should do is "Shadow Dancing " and "(Love is) Thicker Than Water "

Barry Gibb in a interview he is still second fiddle to the Bee Gees. He said he always was. He said he can not replicate what he had with them.
True ....he could not 😢
Robin is almost in tears at 02:45
It was written by Barry & Blue Weaver and recorded as a single by Andy first on his Shadow Dancing album, with only Barry singing backup.
Close family.

Andy was also a teenager at the time he released this as a single, whereas in 1997 Barry was 51.
Too much love will kill u vibes

Barry wrote all of Andy's songs. Who do you think was singing background for Andy.
I didn’t know that. Thanks for the info Robert 😊

Sorry, I see you already did that :-)
Try the RIO brothers from the Philippines performing the same song which is almost the same ...
