@yammienoob i see you don’t have any 750 vids ill let u use my 2025 gsxr 750 in one of your videos would love to see you try it out and see what you think
@@Itsthebikeman I would LOVE to have a 250cc 4cil on the side. But they were never sold here, are very rare a cost a lot. So i'm hoping to add an R6 to my GS one day.
"in his 40s, wears leathers for a weekend ride, and hangs out with 20 year olds" And I took that shit personally. I legit stopped making my breakfast and said HEY!
Nothing beats the raw visceral sound an old carbureted Honda SOHC 750 makes as you kickstart it and run through the gears. They did it first, and did it right even though today I’ll get slammed by a dude on a Ninja 400. I’ll laugh in 70’s exhaust note though, and give a solid thumbs up.
@ to do it the right way yeah. I did it kinda ghetto so it was just an easy weekend project. Need to buy cbr subframe, fairings, wire everything yourself (wiring was almost a plug and play) my fairings are held together with self tappers but from about 10 feet away it looks fine😂
The whole point of sitting in a back breaking position isn’t because we want nice torque and power in the lower and middle of the power band. It’s because that raw top end power is adrenaline pumping. If anyone wanted a “town friendly” power band, they wouldn’t buy a super sport style bike.
Power band friendly super sport style is a pointless concept. The equivalent of buying a super car, along with all the impracticalites and none of the extreme aspects in terms of power. In other words, the r9 and r7’s are ricers. Buy an mt-09.
As a sportbike rider i pretty much agree with everything you said 😂. Im tired of hearing my friend whos crashed his 250 ninja 3 times say that he NEEDS a 1000... Like bro is trying to become a statistic 🤦🏼
That’s just sad. Tell him to sell it. Ridden for over 8 years now and hit a 6 track days w over 30k miles under my belt and have yet to go down. Its not for everyone
For practiality i have a car. I ride motorcycles for fun and emotions. You can ride your boring ass parallel twins, i´ll have my inline four everyday over this.
I have been riding since 1990 and 100% agree. The cb550ss I used to have was more fun than a new twin. I can't ride a sport bike anymore, but I will keep my 1000sx until I can't get on it anymore unless I can get an h2sx.
Let’s be real, in most states in America you can really only ride in summer, half of fall and half or spring. Motorcycles are impractical. We get annoyed because you are making a toy that’s MEANT to be impractical and trying to make it sensible, which is not what sports bike riders want, most of us don’t even live in states with good back roads so getting on the interstate and taking off or leaning hard on so turn pikes is really all we have, so yes HP is important because we like the noise and we like pulling up to the meet and flexing a 200hp bike that makes our backs hurt after 45 minutes.
He has definitely changed his content. Shame in my eyes. I'm 45 and still buying and riding sport bikes. I'd never burn a fellow rider. Yammienoob is earning the big bucks so I understand why he tries controversial topics
as an R6 rider i think people that complain about the R9 horsepower are dumb, the only thing i criticize about the R9 is that at least to me it's uglier than the last gen R6
They went for an underbelly exhaust which actually makes the bike more slicker. Problem is, they didn’t make the exhaust looks integrated on the design. Hopefully an aftermarket exhaust will make it look better. Ducati stock underbelly exhaust always look like it’s part of the design. Yamaha didn’t seem to bother. But last r6 and this r9 almost looks the same. Aside from the exhaust and wings.
Weighs as much as an s1000 and is a 900cc bike that has less power than basically every 600. 117hp isn’t small by any means and its great that it isn’t only available at the peak of the mountain but I expect more for a bike of its size and weight
I'm an R6 rider too, and I agree with you. Nothing wrong with the R9 itself, I don't care about the specs and whatnot. It just looks ugly and I will probably never get one.
Last Gen r6 was why I started riding. So beautiful But was cheaper for to get a brand new r1 than a r6 😅 If r9 had the rear buttress and air ram without that ugly centre light I'd sell my r1 for a r9
Could be an unpopular opinion, but I honestly love that my 2004 R6 doesn't have much power in the lower rpms. Keeps me out of trouble and makes city riding pretty chill.
I can agree with anything else but paralel twins will never sound any better than supped up lawnmower. While hearing high revving 4 inline is voice that gives you goosebumps.
I mean you’re pretty much comparing v8 to inline 4 cars. They both sound really good in my opinion. But I like the mean grunt and character the 270° cranked parallels give. It’s like you’re riding a lion🦁 lol
thats the only reason id want a zx4 lol i wish i started off on one of those and not a old carbureted ninja 250, but i wanted something cheap that i wouldnt be too sad about if i dropped it and messed it up. rawdogged motorcycling with no MSF or prior motorcycling experience almost 2 months ago and as of two weeks ago i got my license and while my bike is fun cause it revs high and makes goofy 2 cylinder noises..im getting kinda bored and need new thrills on it. :(
And why does every 600 guy think his bike does 170+? Why don't any of them understand the concept of speedo error... You can even show them that their new ZX6R is gearing limited to 156mph, but they just stick their fingers in their ears and keep claiming their 600 has a tune and does 174 and hangs with Busa's all day... It's annoying AF.
I ride a 2016 R6 and my buddy rides a ‘24 MT09. I love the screaming inline 4 and hitting twisty backroads and doing what the bike was made to do. But when I cruise with my friend and he takes off from me while I’m waiting to hit the power band… it’s really making me consider the R9. Especially since I’ve ridden his MT09. If the R9 is just that but the sport bike version it’d be great. I want to sit on one and feel the ergonomics before make any official decisions though.
It's not the cylinders, it's the tuning. Ducati's were 2 cylinders before the V4 came out. The beef with the R7 and R9 is that they took the naked bike engines and slapped sport bike fairings to make it look fast. No remapping or redesign. That's why it sucks.
Track days are just not practical for a lot of guys. I wanna open my garage door early on a Sunday morning and go hit the empty highways for an hour or so and then get back home and get things done. Cruising around the back roads does nothing for me. I want speed and power!!!
I have to agree with your points except for a single thing i can't just not mention. And i'd think you'd agree, I was surprised you did not mention it. Most "sensible" riders that are on screaming 4 cylinder rockets are very aware of how impractical they are, how expensive, dangerous, you name it, but well, that isn't the point is it? I didn't get an R1 for it to be practical or sensible, I got it because its freaking awesome, and so do most riders that have 3+ neurons. If I wanted a sensible practical cheap machine i'd be feeling like I am riding the bike equivalent of a cubicle office. I am not loving this current trend of sensible machines because it feels like the market wants to tell me what I should like, there is no passion, just controlled practicality. And don't get me wrong I do have a sensible practical motorcycle, but its for practical things, the R1 is for fun, even if i'm a slowpoke, its the awe of knowing it will kill me the moment i dare think i have full control of it.
I always tell my "practical bike" rider friends that I didn't get my CBR1000RR for practicality, got it for the feel it gives me and knowing that neither me or anyone else in the street see much of such machines make me feel special.
It's less about sport bike riders, and more about the posers and squids that make up a portion of the sport bike community. A lot of us are riders, and we know that a bike is the sum of its parts and not a single number on a spec sheet. Most of the guys whining about this stuff, are the highway heroes... the guys that spend more time posing for Instagram... Get them on track or a really twisty road and they are the slowest guys out there...
Harleys are twins. That is a great sound. CBX's have online 6s. 6 CYLINDERS!! Other than the Harleys that is my favorite motorcycle motor sound... the CBX
@@jamesjanney4440its kinda similar to the old "low revving rumbly high displacement V8 sound vs i4 and 6 cylinder sound" debate. everyones got a different opinion.
I don’t care about torque, I don’t care about someone’s claim on how i will never use “all the usable” power, and I definitely don’t give two capital F’s about comfort! If it does not start to redline at 16k, or it’s not 4 cylinder, it’s NOT a Supersport!
Finally someone else who understands riding is for your mental health and enjoyment, instead of fitting in to a mould someone else wants to put you in. I have zx4rr zx6r 500 and Chinese dirt bikes. I remember when he was talking crap about zx4rr and now look at him. He's about getting paid these days and nothing more
I have a street triple RS and looking for a fully faired track only bike. While looking at a R7, the salesman walked by me saying “why are you looking at a slower bike?” I felt like he was just building rapport, or upselling to a liter bike - but haven’t been able to shake the thought that even considering a slower bike for fun was a dumb idea… Thought you’d find this current phenomena interesting!
As someone who rides a Triple RS on track as well, I have to admit I have been gapped by 400s and R7s on turns with much better riders than me. Track is a great equalizer, more about skill than horsepower.
I have a bazzaz tuned k5 Gsxr and it hits SO hard down low so is best of both worlds…over 8,000 rpm puts you in another dimension and under 8,000 it’s like a big punchy twin but super smooth and so raw with its induction growl. I absolutely love it and will never part with it. I even wear gear.
The R9 is prolly gonna be awesome...and I'm faster around the track on my RS 660 than some people on 600s...but that insane screaming 4 cylinder sound is sooo alluring!
I really want a gxsr 600 and I promise to be the middle between the spectrum of “squid” and “guy that wears full racing suit and has stripes just to go to the grocery store” 😂
I used to rock in a full leather suit to my local Macca's because that's all I could afford while being full protected. Then I bought more discreet looking gear over time.
Stop it. Parallel twins are bleugh and trying to make them appealing is putting lipstick on a pig. You can make any engine have torque and tractability, but can it have a personality? That Z900 engine you hate is less than 120 HP and is really nice to use, but you can also wring it out and make it make fun noises and stuff. It beats any parallel twin, it’s just more expensive and harder to beat those pointless emissions laws.
Yammy a nissan rouge is more practical than a McLaren. We don't want practical. We don't want a commuting bike. We have crossover suvs for that. We want speed. And sound. And your gsx8r doesn't do what my zx10r does when I want to go fast. Most super sport riders are not daily riding.
@slimfit767 rider skill certainly makes a difference but at some point power counts. Assuming I can't beat a bike with less than half the power is crazy.
I revel in the roast. I bathe in the memes. I absolutely lather myself in the stereotype. 😅 It's just too much fun. Sports bikes are just too much fun but I daily ride a scooter. Haha
That's the thing, many of sport bikes idiot literlaly daily a 600 or a thousand. You daily a scooter, that's very smart and ia appreciate that. Not someone who buys a race bike to ride in the street 🤦.
In my 40s now and sadly my body is too broken from doing rad things to want to mostly ride a sport bike. Enjoy it while it lasts fellas. Great memories! It’s is awesome there are so many types of bikes and riding. Motorcyclist forever. Don’t fear trying something different. They are all fun.
What do we think the odds are that now Yam is a dad he's become an ADV Dad, so in 30 years when he's a grandpa, he's got a Goldwing, Harley, or BMW tourer?
Funny enough not all R6 riders hate on the R9. If that was the case then I wouldn't have ordered a White and Red R9. Even though I've no plans to ever get rid of my R6. I'll just go back and forth with each getting to be my daily. Then I'll see with I prefer for more aggressive technical riding in the mountains.
The sports bike hate is real! I own a sports bike. I also own a naked bike. When I want to be comfortable and have some fun, I hop on the naked bike. When I want to have a thrilling ride, get that rush, and listen to the sounds, it’s the super sport! Guess which one I ride more….. it’s not the naked bike! I understand the draw of the new crop of bikes. But, they appeal to mostly newer bike riders. I have a friend who has an older 600. Guess what bike he wants next? It’s not one of these newer bikes. Not saying they are bad. They serve a purpose. He wants a super sport! There is just an allure of owning one that can’t be duplicated by something else! People want what they want. I can respect that! No reason to hate on someone from wanting something different than me! Be safe and have fun on whatever you ride!
I love me a good P twin with it's extremely usable and accessible power at lower rpms...with that being said it can never replace that terrifying top end rush of a 1000cc inline 4! That's why I own both.
This was gold! 😂😂😂 I probably was one of those die hard riders that took it way too serious when I first started, had an R6 as well. Now a bit older, I enjoy a variety of different motorcycles. I like the power cruiser I have, I like my Duc SFV4S, and I enjoy the experience my V4R gives me as well. The V4R is absolutely overkill and impractical for day to day riding, but it’s a blast for the use case it was designed for - arguably the best. Regardless of which bike I’m riding, I wear full gear, helmet, gauntlet gloves, jacket, pants (leather), and boots. Some may say it’s overkill, but having had a an accident on that R6 because an Escalade driver decided he deserved the piece of road I was occupying more than I did - I’m only here because I was wearing full gear that day and God’s grace. So I will continue to wear it every time I ride and say a prayer… because it’ll literally save your life!
I have been riding everything I could since the 4th grade. I’m 41 now and I’ll let you guys in on a cheap gem 💎 of a bike. The buell xb12R. Italian frame second to none, less than 400lbs, more than 100hp, 89ftlbs out of a Harley air cooled v twin. Usable power, comfort, style and a great American story behind the hand crafted heavily engineered brand.
@ yeah but those are dirt bikes so what’s your point I’m not upset that it makes 117 just slightly disappointed is all plus we can get more power out of it anyway🤷♂️
@@AstroBot-bc0213 just pointin out that correlating cc to hp is silly. thats my point. see 1500hp 2.0L civics and 1.8L harleys with less than a 100 hp for example.
@@AstroBot-bc0213 So, the R9's wet weight is 430 lbs. The outgoing model of R6 is 419 with the early models being.... 430 lbs. Have you looked at that? are we upset about 10 lbs? and the same weight for older models? how could you think that? and with cruise control and many other features the R6 lacks I dunno. bandwagon hate is what I chalk it up to. your hating on weight and didnt even know it weighed the same hehe. Also, bigger bikes ride better. its facts.
The trend away from inline 4 cylinder bikes is due to emissions alone. Equal displacement in fewer cylinders = less overall cylinder surface area = easier to meet emissions.
From a non sports bike guy, it’s fun to build all the power out of an engine. Insecure is one thing but I can see why normal people would opt for bigger engine sizes or horsepower output. I like the racing side of stuff but the mechanic part is honestly more fun to me as a hot take, I know that’s not a common opinion lol
The thing that gets me is when Reddit discussions about recommendations for beginners focus on stat sheet figures. People will say things like 600cc or 60 HP are too much for a beginner, but really, neither of those figures tells you anything about how a motorcycle feels pulling out of your driveway at low speed. I would argue that initial throttle response is the single most important factor in how beginner-friendly a motorcycle is, and there's no stat for that. You just have to try them and see. My family freaked out when they heard I bought an 800cc cruiser for my first motorcycle, but what they didn't understand was that it was really smooth off the line, much less jumpy than the smaller bike I took my MSF course on. I ride that thing like a granny in a Corola, displacement be damned. Peak power figures are completely irrelevant unless someone plans to be wide open throttle in top gear.
Torque pulls ya out of a corner not horsepower. Hence why the SV650 is such a brilliant track bike. Twins, whether L, V or Parallel, are brilliant ripping corners.
In the UK there are radar cameras everywhere, post mounted cameras, vehicle cameras and hand held cameras. Going over the speed limit is expensive and leads to loss of license. Riding a sports bike at 30mph on an open road is frustrating, boring and pointless. Consequently, I now have a Triumph Bonneville that’s enjoyable at any speed.
For me it's just the sound lol... as corny as that sounds or childish -.- I just love how a 4 cylinder bike sounds. They could be capped at 85MPH for all I care... If it sounds cool then im down! Riding a bike- 250cc 1000cc - all of it is still fun since you are on two wheels and exposed to the elements. People get lost in what other people think even though most have 0 friends any way lmfao. I don't have social media so I just buy and ride what I like - Zx4rr rider here :) it's my dream bike for what it is. I don't think trying to bash any rider is good for the community - I know most of this is tongue and cheeky humor - but most people really believe this and it just make people dislike certain riders. I can care less if you wear full leather or ride butt ass naked- how does that effect me? just happy to see more riders :)
As an old guy 68 year old I like the rush of a hot bike have ridden many its cool. I'm in good shape and have ridden for years albeit I value my life. I have crashed that has tempered my behavior practice your riding skills I'm aware my reaction times have diminished. So I only crack the throttle when I can be okay. Youth is wasted on the young. Enjoy life is good live the dream.😊😊
It’s simple. If you don’t know much about bikes, or are old and can’t ride an aggressive portion anymore. You get a less sportier bike. “I got it because I like it”. You got it because it’s what you coulda afford. It’s like saying someone would rather get a N.A. version of a car when a TY variant is available. And looking at the win record for the R6. Pretty sure it the best bike in its class. Just get what you like, or can afford. But say that’s why you got it. 😂
I have a passion for intense acceleration, and peak horsepower plays a significant role in achieving that. In general, lower peak horsepower equates to reduced acceleration. While I've ridden the MT-09, it doesn't match the experience of my R1
Just bought a gsx 8r and you are correct! Ha it’s crazy the hate these bikes get when really they’re way more fun AND practical (rare combo in life) to ride around everywhere but a track.
It's not even about how it rides or how much power it has, I literally just like the flat plane crank inline 4 sound. Like yeah other things can sound good, but to me nothing will sound as good as an inline 4
On a broader spectrum this mentality applies to all disciplines of just about everything. This is what i know is the best, thats why i have it, because it is the best… for me. We tend to cling to what we know and develop a superiority complex about it. Its not just sport bike guys, its cruiser bros, adv dad bod banna men, ect ect ect
Im 19 years old with multiple nice super sports including an HP4 comp BUT also greatly appreciate all bikes. Have had 4 different Groms, a bad ass street legal KTM 500, a few dirt bikes and also a Ninja 400 that I absolutely LOVED and took it to Tail of the Dragon. I go fast but usually wear a jacket and nice gloves/boots and appreciate all bikes for the most part lol. There's a time and place for everything and could even see myself on a super cool Harley Sportster in the future. Video was spot on though, love the comedy!
You think thats crazy? An SV 650 does 60 in 4 seconds too, does 50 to the gallon, costs peanuts used , cheaper insurance, un appealing to thieves, top speed around we will call it 14 tooth front sprocket, 125mph. Its 350 ypvs performance after 30mph. In the U.K. its all I will ever need.
had to be said, as someone who went from a cl100 to cbr600 F4i because peak power and sportbikes was all I knew about riding, I thank god everyday I traded that thing for my drz400 SM
I think this was only fair if it was only R6 guy complaining. But those are just easy targets. I do get the feeling that more and more bread and butter machines with fancy electronics that are far less expensive to produce gets pushed down every sportsriders throat, trying to convince us all that that R9 117 hp is "enough for everybody". And if not, we don't know what we're talking about and we should all "learn to ride first". It's fine to love and buy those bikes, but please spare me the attitude that we don't know what we like. There is a universe between 117 and 217 hp, so don't come and tell that "noone has use for 200+ hp". They could offer lots in the middle, but I bet that means less revenue. So now the industry decided that they should tell sportsriders to come to their senses and buy between 660 and 890 cubics and be happy already.
I’ve owned a bunch of motorcycles in my life. From when I first started with a Yamaha 250 YDS 3 and a CL 305 Honda Superhawk as a teenager, to two gold wings, a Yamaha MT07, two 750 gixers a 600 gixer. To name a few. Currently I own a 600 gixer and, of all things a Harley 48 bobber (which I love for what it is). Pretty much loved them all except the MT07. Didn’t like the suspension, brakes and power delivery. Regardless, motorcycles are a personal thing much like art. Like and ride what YOU want. One thing I’ll never do is criticize someone else for what they ride. It’s nun ya (none of my/your) business. If I could only have only one bike it would be a gixer 750. To me it’s perfection and nothing else comes close to the feeling it provides. Regarding comfort, I can ride it all day long. Thank you and goodnight.
I like all bikes, but i`d feel very embarrassed when a comfortable sitting, relaxed Yamaha V- Max or Rocket 3 rider crushes me off the traffic lights in my super loud, super expensive, super modded and super uncomfortable sports bike.
I got a 600 thinking I’d outgrow it within a year of riding and then get a 1,000 but I realized that the 600 is just so much more fun and practical than a 1,000 and it’s crazy because at the time I never knew what you could do to a 600 like getting a big bore kit or just upgrade to a 636 and it’s crazy how much more power an throttle you get just from that let alone a 1,000…
I think the average street rider hasn't spent enough time trying out different engine configurations, displacements, and riding positions to understand that in today's world, you can have good handling and good power on something other than a full blown sportbike. Basically, they just don't know any better. Years ago you had to have a full blown superbike bike to get good handling and power, but that ain't the case anymore in today's times. I've got a 1000, a 750, a 636, and an 848 in the garage now, but I can honestly say that the new 800 Suzuki is one of the most surprisingly fun bikes I've ridden in a long time. Furthermore, that CP3 motor needs no introduction for those in the know. I'd argue that both of those engines have more "fun factor" around town than any supersport ever could because they make their power and torque in the middle of the rev range where 99% of street riders spend 99% of the their time.
I like the high revs. I'm good in 3rd gear from 25-80 mph. The legs keep me in 1 (maybe 2) gear all the way up the mountain where I'd be flipping through them on other bikes. I love the power buildup. It's very reasonable below 7000 rpm. But if you want the thrust it's just a downshift away.
I own an FJ-09 alongside an SV650, and I honesty just can't see myself going back to an inline 4. As cool as they sound, I have way more fun with the platforms in my garage now. I'm really glad Yamaha finally revealed an R9, that engine is an absolute beast and I've always felt it deserved a more sporty setup for those who want it.
I still love Super Sports, even turned my RS660 into one with Ohlin's, high rearsets and low clip ons lol The position is not uncomfortable to me unless it's slowly filtering thru heavy traffic(which then yes it gets tiring), can ride a SuperSport out in the twisties all day with no discomfort and nothing is like feeling locked in the bike.
I can confirm RS660 is fun. What is more important, perhaps, is the fact that it's still quite versatile and you can use much of its capabilities on a highway, and not just the track.
The R7 is an amazing motorcycle and I have no doubt that the R9 will be an amazing motorcycle. You can not lie though that a screaming I4 scratches a part of your brain that you thought was not possible.
Glad to see the GSX 8R pop up so many times in the video as a reference for a good sports bike. It is my first motorcycle and I love the thing so much and even in the rain mode it has insane low/mid torque and I honestly can't see how anyone would need more than that bikes max power and torque. But man is the insurance for it expensive.
Here I am with an R3 trying to figure out if I want a Harley, R9, or an adventure bike for my second bike... I'm basically trying to figure out which way I want to be made fun of on a bike.
i will never give up my inline 4 !!!!!!! i love all bikes but it's the best hands down !!!!! what is a 3/2/1 cylinder can do a 4 does better just saying on the street /track 4 for me ..... off road ya 1/ 2 cylinders for that but it's even more fun with a 4 lol

The whole point of sitting in a back breaking position isn’t because we want nice torque and power in the lower and middle of the power band. It’s because that raw top end power is adrenaline pumping. If anyone wanted a “town friendly” power band, they wouldn’t buy a super sport style bike.
Thats why less people are buying them
So you live on a race track or do you just make poor choices?

This video is like trying to convince a person who like muscle cars to sell you all the good things to get you to buy a electric car
Definitely true
Weighs as much as an s1000 and is a 900cc bike that has less power than basically every 600. 117hp isn’t small by any means and its great that it isn’t only available at the peak of the mountain but I expect more for a bike of its size and weight
I'm an R6 rider too, and I agree with you. Nothing wrong with the R9 itself, I don't care about the specs and whatnot. It just looks ugly and I will probably never get one.
Last Gen r6 was why I started riding. So beautiful
But was cheaper for to get a brand new r1 than a r6 😅
If r9 had the rear buttress and air ram without that ugly centre light I'd sell my r1 for a r9
180° parallel twins like the ninja 650 definitely sound like lawn mowers though😂

I’ll hold on to my GSXR 750 as long as I can. I like the new bikes but the sweet spot from to 600-1000 is a fun place to live.
It's not the cylinders, it's the tuning. Ducati's were 2 cylinders before the V4 came out. The beef with the R7 and R9 is that they took the naked bike engines and slapped sport bike fairings to make it look fast. No remapping or redesign. That's why it sucks.
They did change the maps they added imu and cornering Abs and they have a whole different frame in the R9. Do your research before you post
I agree that Ducati twins sound awesome, as do the V4’s.
@@devindalrymple1069 The R9 is barely a replacement for the R6 but not close to a contender for the R1!
Track days are just not practical for a lot of guys. I wanna open my garage door early on a Sunday morning and go hit the empty highways for an hour or so and then get back home and get things done. Cruising around the back roads does nothing for me. I want speed and power!!!

Definitely a changed man lol. Now it's about getting paid and not about the enjoyment
That's why i like the r3. It's cozy, quick enough to do what you need it to do, but it makes sense on the road

I’m in the same boat. Love my Street Triple, but would love to have a backup 600 super sport for track duty.
As someone who rides a Triple RS on track as well, I have to admit I have been gapped by 400s and R7s on turns with much better riders than me. Track is a great equalizer, more about skill than horsepower.

Youth is wasted on the young. Enjoy life is good live the dream.😊😊
The sound of a 4 cylinders bike is something that cannot be overlooked.
The supersport engine is art, you don't need to reach peak power to appreciate it.
Just bought a gsx 8r and you are correct! Ha it’s crazy the hate these bikes get when really they’re way more fun AND practical (rare combo in life) to ride around everywhere but a track.

Agree with you but...The only thing I can't stand is the sound. The in line 4 or V4 sounds better than anything
I feel personally attacked by this video, love your content yammie dude😂😂
I'd argue that both of those engines have more "fun factor" around town than any supersport ever could because they make their power and torque in the middle of the rev range where 99% of street riders spend 99% of the their time.
yammie continues to slowly devolve into a harley guy
Bro hated on the GSX-8S before riding it and now the GSX-8R lives in his head rent free, I love it.
As an RJ15 rider I agree with everything you said and I will never change my mind!

The position is not uncomfortable to me unless it's slowly filtering thru heavy traffic(which then yes it gets tiring), can ride a SuperSport out in the twisties all day with no discomfort and nothing is like feeling locked in the bike.
There’s nothing more fun on two wheels than an R6.
80 HP is really all you need for all around riding. Full tuck highway pulls at 150 is fun on occasion though
@@McLeod40 best of luck to you. I enjoyed my Harley switched over to a sport bike and have never looked back, but I do understand the indecision.
i will never give up my inline 4 !!!!!!! i love all bikes but it's the best hands down !!!!! what is a 3/2/1 cylinder can do a 4 does better just saying on the street /track 4 for me ..... off road ya 1/ 2 cylinders for that but it's even more fun with a 4 lol
61 and still enjoy my sporty sportbike. Gotta kick out of the video. Well done.
