Sessohmaru is in battle when Totosi is sent a message saying Sessohmaru is now ready for his new sword. He comes as Sessohmaru's sword and new arm appears. Blades effect remains and spreads.
Totosi explains everything and Sessohmaru is happy with his new sword.

Absolute facts early series they'd off each other no problem but come the end they genuinely care about the other and will die trying to protect each other and their loved ones I loved seeing sesshomaru bodyguard kagome he didn't care about her he cared about what she meant to Inuyasha wether he'd like to admit or not
One of the coolest moments from this anime! Sesshomaru is such a badass, arguably my favorite anime character of all time.
With the exception of Vegeta, Sesshomaru probably has the best evolution arc in anime.
There is hajime saito from kenshin and hiei from YuYu hakusho.
Sesshomaru is better than Vegeta and Hiei.
@@BlackangelKatakuri Not really, no. Vegeta's evolution arc is the best in media, IMO. Sesshomaru takes a solid 2nd. His turnaround is complete, he goes from wanting to destroy the entirety of the earth to becoming a whole-ass family man.
But a fan of Inuyasha will say Sesshomaru's arc is better. Fact is, as a fan of both, it isn't.
InuYasha is always there to help his older brother and in a way Sesshomaru is always there for his little brother even if he doesnt admit it he always protects him too.

@@williamwinder3466 Goes beyond that even. Without being taught those lessons that Bakusaiga would never have revealed itself. And even if it did if Sesshomaru was still like how he was at the start of the series he would have been a much worse threat than any other Demon.
His entire Test if you will was to teach him compassion and to let go of the past. It's why his father gave him a sword that is "Useless".

His Dad actually helped him out. Sesshomaru was holding himself back by trying to be someone else. And his Dad showed him that he can be even greater than him but it was only through this way

If all Sesshomaru needed to do was let go of the past and stand with his own power couldn’t his dad had simply….told him that? 💀 he could have still given him Tenseiga to teach him compassion sure but telling him he needed to forge his own power without getting his sword would have been a simple matter. With how much Sesshomaru respected his father i’m sure he would have had no problem listening to him. Part of the reason he wanted that sword was because he thought he had been cheated out of his birth right and he wanted to prove himself to his father after all. He didn’t even really want the sword much anymore the moment he learned just WHY Inuyasha had it in the first place. So I mean, It’s not like he can’t learn and understand. Idk that’s just how I feel about it 🤣
Knowing how stubborn he is it's better to let him find out on his own that is the best way for someone with a stubborn heart and head to understand because yes he respects his father but its not like he would fully understand and follow what his father tells him he would only believe their father only loved InuYasha and their sibling relationship wouldnt have gotten anywhere. In this case Sesshomaru grew stronger and even if he doesnt wish to admit it he protected his younger brother and showed him the way .
This one moment alone makes me realize I am proud to have 2 half brothers one on my father's side who is older and one on my mother's side who is younger... Me and my younger brother use to watch this show religiously and now I understand why I never could choose who was better... I'm stuck in the middle.... the older half brother who wants to prove hes the strongest and the younger half brother who believes in protecting the ones you love
I hope Sesshomaru likes Bakusaiga, it's as much a part of him as his demonic aura

He shouldn’t have had to almost die to receive a great sword. His father was cruel leaving everything to Inuyasha.
Actually he wasnt cruel at all their father knew Sesshomaru was very strong and didnt really needed additional power he left the other sword to him because he wanted Sesshomaru to understand the value of human lives, love and the need to protect someone. He knew that at the end of the day InuYasha was the weakest of the 2 being a half demon and knew that deep down Sesshomaru was there to help guide and protect InuYasha in a harsh way but if we think about it Sesshomaru was there in the worst moments of InuYasha and guided him to the right path even if he was very harsh in doing so claiming he was gonna kill him but he never did but quite the opposite always there to fight alongside InuYasha and stopped him from hurting himself or his loved ones when he transformed into a full demon so to me the father knew what he was doing he knew Sesshomaru was gonna end up protecting his brother.

So ummm… how exactly did sesshomaru get bakusaiga??? I mean, totosai said the sword had always been apart of him. So… does that mean every demon has the ability to have a sword just randomly appear when they surpass their parents strength??? Or did sesshomaru’s dad ask totosai to make it and give it to sesshomaru when he surpassed his dad’s strength?
His personal sword, not from his dad. (Because Totosai said to Sess: congra... a sword from your self, that thing not from your dad”). And this sword just appear when Sess got over obsesse with Inuyasha’s sword, that mean he full power and can stand by his self that he not need a help from his dad.
his dad had swords forged from his actual fangs. But if the fight ended with sesshowmaru stabbing the bad guy with his tooth, but giant, it might seem strange LOL so instead of using a raw tooth, then totosai forging it into a actual sword afterwards, what's better for the story if it's just a sword in the first place. But yes in real life he would have to be in giant dog mode, remove the tooth, then have totosai turn it into a sword-sword
More than likely the sword was always a part of him sense he was born. It kind of acts like a more advanced form of poison so it's probably what has been his power all along just he didn't know about it.
His dad knew about it before he died so it stands to reason everything done to him was so that he would be able to use the sword.

there is a reason Tessaiga was left to inuyasha that is because inuyasha is a half demon he does not have the ability to manifest his own blade but Sesshomaru like his father is a Great demon wth you need someone else fangs for when you have your own.

Yes he grew his arm back and along with it got a sword that was not inherited from his father. Final act episode 20 I think or was it sooner? Going off memory because I'm currently at work
@@MissRozza1994 I think it was episode 18 or something sesshomaru gets bakusaiga. But sesshomaru is right handed so I would think bakusaiga would appear from his right hand, not his left hand.
I thought he was ambidextrous yet stronger on his right, but then had to be right handed because he lost his left. I don't know hahaha

How exactly did he get his arm back?
When he finally let go of his attachment to the Tetsusiega his body formed a new arm and along with it got a sword that was not inherited from his father. Not sure on details but watch the episode it should explain it better than I have
@@MissRozza1994 I did watch the episode. It still didn’t make sense to me. It’s like saying that if Captain Hook let go of his obsession with killing Peter Pan, he would get his hand back. What Sessohmaru and Captain Hook have in common is that they’re not reptiles that can grow back their limbs.
@@travisgoonan7667 Captain Hook isn't a dog demon from the Inuyasha universe. You can't compare humans and demons from two different worlds. He got his arm back and along with it got a sword. It's anime, the plot armour is strong with this one 😂🤣
@@MissRozza1994 call me a critic. I just think that there should be some actual logic behind it. I mean dog demons are not lizards either. Besides, if Sessohmaru can attach other arms on, why doesn’t he just grab his old arm and reattach it? It’s not like he can buy a prosthetic arm from the Skywalker family.
Because his arm was cut off in the border between the afterlife and the living world where for anime reasons his fathers physical remains are, which they needed the black pearl that was placed in Inuyasha's eye to get to. After, he lost his arm, he retreated without picking his arm back up. Once the black pearl completed it's task of ensuring Inuyasha got the Tetsusiegia it returned as a normal part of Inuyasha's eye. Meaning they couldn't go back to get it. Then, in the third movie Takimaru (Izayio's human suiter) used Sessohmaru's arm and when he was defeated, the arm and the So'unga (Inu no Tashio's third sword) got sealed in hell, meaning no one can get to it. Anime plot armour it's a wonderful thing!
One thing that bugs me about bakusaiga is it's a lame katana in shape. Tokijin is the only or few references to the khanda sword. It would have been better if Totosai forged Sesshomau a sword from his own fang. Sesshomaru is more badass with one arm.
