I'd love to see you tackle a Kioti CK2610/20. I know the fuel can be turned up without a turbo to 32-35 ish HP. I could even supply you the tractor to do it, I plan on purchasing one from my local dealer this spring.
They will have to get a lot more popular for it to make sense for me to do something with that model, but if you can already get 35HP out of it, that sounds like plenty for that size tractor.
Right now, I'm expecting it to be the same price point. While the manifold casting will be more expensive, the JD version also has a cast part. Since I have designed new parts for the JD along the way, most of which will interchange with the BX model, I should be able to absorb the additional cost.
I can't say for sure. In my neck of the woods, if I were basing it on orange tractors I see driving down the road, the L2501 would be next. But if the 25HP and below B series are more popular, then it's more likely to get looked at next.
250x/310x/380x l series would be neat, I've been looking into it myself on my l3800, I just found your website today, I'll be putting in an order for some cylinders shortly
Not initially, but also not sure if there will be enough demand. The 2680 has a different exhaust manifold and since I am having to make a custom manifold for the 2380/23s, there will be a significant cost to add the BX2680 to the lineup.
Unfortunately, I can confirm that it won't work on the 2680. That model uses a different exhaust manifold, so the one I'm having cast will not work. The main difference is that the 2380 has a mounting flange that is 90 degrees out of phase with the other 2 and the 2680 has all flanges in the same orientation. Given there are relatively few 26XX out there vs the 23XX, I don't think it will make sense for me to cast a manifold specific to that model, but I will look at it.
Thats awesome! Can't wait to see the finished product.
So we are 9 months since this video any updates?
Another incredible video. Love the open minded engineering perspective. Hard not to get excited on this build.

Can’t wait. 👍
Nice that will work with 60,70 and 80 series
Nice! 😎😎
Can't wait till you get to the kubota B2650/LX2620
I guess it’s safe to assume this will be a higher price point than the JD being it will need a new manifold also..?

B series next ???

The L 2501 is probably more popular than the b2601. Even the LX 2610 is probably going to be more popular

Yes!!
Is this going work on the bx2680?

Are you thinking this will work on the D1005 engines? ie:Bx2680

@@HydrosPlus Bummer! I was really hoping for a bx2680 power upgrade. Oh well. Thanks for all your work regardless!
I was hoping for one for my 2680 also
Me as well
Yes, I would like this option for my 2680.
