I have a 2018 Shelby Corbra 350GT getting ready to put the Kooks long tube headers and exhaust all the way through out the back. I'm getting the 3.0 Whipple. What upgrade would you suggest is next. Right now it's stock and I would love to be able to film the whole thing. I'm such a UA-cam newbie.

For what its worth if I were to compare 60-130 times with mods I would let the computer shift for me so its the only variable to compare against except for temp/da/humidity. Also assuming temps and da must have been pretty high on all runs. Been able to achieve 6's with stock tune/air box. With those mod's it should be in the low / mid 6's. Again depending the the air quality.
Why not let it shift in auto, instead of manually shifting?

I'd love to race my 14 GT500 vs his ZR1 at some point. Knee is getting better I can walk and drive clutch now.

no, for 2020+ gt500’s you’ll need id1050x injectors or id1300x injectors. i recommend id1300x.

They're doing the pulls in Daytona FL. I always think it's kinda dumb for guys to say they're in Mexico when they're obviously not. It's not that hard for law enforcement to come after car youtubers if they really wanted to, case in point this video, GPS map is a dead giveaway of exact location.

Not when the trans hasn’t been flashed. Shift points haven’t been increased to 8k yet. But I would agree with you if the trans was tuned for the shift points then yes Auto would be faster than manually paddle shifting
Mustang Lifestyle At the Shelby bash I had the opportunity to speak with a Ford engineer about the different drive modes. The car is fastest on the track & on the street while in drive mode. Thousands of hours of R/D were done to ensure this. Raising the RPM could actually hurt the performance times. Hopefully he could rerun the test while in D. When manual drivers drive my Shelby they just can’t help using the paddles😂. It’s like a twitch or
something, they just have to blip the paddles.

From what I hear the S650 Mustang will be based on Fords CD6 platform which underpins the new Explorer and new Mustang Mach E electric SUV, that means new Mustang will get a Hybrid 5.0 making around 500 HP and 550 ft pounds torque combined and would weigh around 4000-4200 lbs

Drivetrain loss is a set number, NOT a percentage based on how much the engine makes or doesn’t make. If you have a 500hp motor and it takes say 50 horsepower to turn the flywheel, transmission, driveshaft, axles,wheels & tires. 450 rwhp . That number does not change because you suddenly put a thousand horsepower (double) engine in your car.. it’s STILL only 50 hp loss, NOT a percentage. It doesn’t double the horsepower loss.

@@MustangLifestyleTV Yes, I understand there is a “percentage loss” of course there is but you can not say a car has 10,20 or 30 percent loss of say a 300 hp engine, then double that engines horsepower and actually be dumb enough to think the drivetrain suddenly doubles also. The CAI would pick up 0 rwhp... Especially as it's going to be pulling higher IATs when the hood is closed.
It has been dyno proven to pick up 30-40rwhp without a tune. In this video the cold air intake does not have a heat shield but the heat shield will be installed soon.

I do not own this car. This is a customers. He allowed us to film the install, catalog the car, and film a few benchmark testing pulls. I do however have a 2018 GT350R, 2014 GT500, 2016 Mustang GT, and more. None of which are paid for by mom and dad. We (my girlfriend and I) work hard for what we have
