The part I like best is “……son of the LIVING God”. This is something that has been and always will be because it is LIVING and therefore infuses all of a person’s being; before, now & forever. We just have to respond to an invitation which is always open.

There’s a few comparisons. I think the biggest is that God hears the prayer of the lowly sinner not the high and mighty.
