It was what i re-learned to 3d on. Buddy (brother from another mother) that gave it back said, i make it do what its supposed to do! 😜😁 Id forgotten how much fun IT was to fly! 👍
If (WHEN!!!), I get my 1st (true) jet, think ill go with the FMS Rafael. Ive seen 3d pilots do what i wanna do with a jet, on this 1. ONLY thing stopping me, is the UNmanicured grass field WE fly on.
At some point you've gotta move past grass fields if you can. Jets don't really hold up to grass over time. The gear will eventually tear out unless it's glued in really well - which, if Freewing did it, is probably not the case.

Congratulations for the video and the maneuvers. I bought this model and I am very happy because it flies really well and very stable. It has a big flaw in landing I tried with full flaps: it stall. A first time as in your video, a second a little bit more violent with some damage. Do you have any advice for a good landing for me? Thanks and greetings from Italy.

I haven't yet. Honestly, I don't like how it looks. That alone has kept me from considering a purchase. I don't want to spend $300 on something I don't like the looks of, you know? I may do it if there's enough interest though, just for you guys.
nice video about this amazing viper; it is good you have changed the lights ( white strobes on the top); do you have the reference of the strobe and the led lights controler? thanks
Which of the non delta planes do you recon is the best ultra high alpha performer?! I use similar mixes as you do, but never thought about taking it that far as you do. Need to try it. Flying turbine in the same foamies I don't have any torque issues along with a lighter wingloading :) I remember the Yak 130 90mm could do sort of delta like slow flying
Horizon doesn't really have any other jets besides the Viper 70, Viper 90, and F-16 70/80. All of them are capable of high alpha except for the Viper 70.
How much % is the approximated value you use or a range from 0 to 150% generally on your Crow mix on your planes on Ails. and Flaps? And do you mix elevator in crow? A recommended FULL span. And can you bottom Ails. Up? Or you need some play?

@@TwoBrosRC full spoilers travel on the ailerons for airbrake and crow i mean, or do you need some play for it to turn. I mean can you use them at full deflection for spoiler type pourposes?

It's not symmetrical, more curved on the top than the bottom.. Looks something like a NACA 2412 1933... Not as thin, fast and efficient as the wing on the tomahawk design 70mm Viperjet. Works well though.

That would require extensive mods that I'm not really prepared to do to the model. Not even sure there's a TV system that would work with this jet.

I have them both and I always take the Viper to the field but the Avanti is always my standby jet to take.

The Freewing blue box is attached to the bind port, and the wing lights are run on the gear servo power.

@@alejo0488 They move up fully but there's an aileron mix to allow them to move down for rolling.
