Yo, new strategy. Use Kv2 to make craters for the advancing infantry in the open field to use as foxhole cover and rally point holes 😂
A howitzer is artillery with a more expensive recoil system allowing higher trajectory fire to be used in hilly, mountainous and urban areas and gets its rounds over terrain. I’ve seen normal artillery smash into a slope preventing fire hitting the target behind. Tends to be rarer and more expensive than normal arty and deployed as a higher echelon asset in armies.
That KV is really imposing!
As a ftp I'm content with my t28 E, although it is much softer.
Question, why not stick your commander out and use binoculars when you were at the beginning of the match far away from the enemy?
I do that with my t28 to more accurately pound the enemy infantry and tanks from afar.
It's not even that risky since the distance is so large.

We need some large conquest games like the "Modern Conflict" mod. These vehicles would shine there but the spawns would have to be closer to the action because these heavy tanks are extremely slow.

I feel sad for all the WT players been waiting for this day for years to hear its a preme that they can't afford.
My guess is after this next f2p rocket artillery radio squad event that's coming with the premium rocket artillery radio squads, they will add either a f2p howitzer SPG event or just add some to the tech trees. Like they do with the new premium squads introduced.
Maybe gaijin will add the 1939 version as a researchable after this?
