Really Really helpfull just find out that the shampoo I been using for the last 3 months is the one making my scalp dry, but because I have a oily scalp i tought that my problem was excessive oil and not a dry scalp, since I changed my shampoo this week for a more gentle one I dont feel my scalp that dryer.

I have oily hair, and I used to wash it every day because it would get very greasy. I've been using the Avalon Organics Thickening Shampoo and Conditioner with Biotin B-Complex for 2 months now. I can now wash my hair every two or three days. This shampoo has a light consistency, is transparent, and creates a lot of foam. It has a pleasant smell and cleans the hair gently without reducing volume. It's really good for me.

Dry scalp tip!!! Use Cerave Hydrating Foaming Oil Cleanser as shampoo. I've always had dry scalp with oily hair, but perimenopause means that oil has vanished. All skin has gotten drier, I sweat like crazy, and the sweat makes the dry skin itch! So, I had the choice between never exercising and going outside, or doing it and showering right away after. Even the very gentle shampoo I had been using was too drying to use every day. I figured since ceramides had made such a difference on the rest of my skin, I should try them on the scalp, but every ceramide shampoo had ingredients that bother me, so I decided to try cleansers. The Cerave Hydrating Facial Cleanser left too much residue, but the Hydrating Foaming Oil Cleanser has been a sanity saver. I have very long, fine, straight hair, so any build up shows up very quickly. I've been using it for about 9 months now, and I'm still very happy! I follow it up with a acidic rinse and conditioner, both applied only below the ears.

@@21972012145525 Depends a lot on the time of year. In summer I use Gold Bond Pure Moisture Body and Face Lotion. During a MN winter, I haven't found one product that provides enough moisture on its own. I seem to need a water layer, then an oil layer, then something really occlusive (at least at night). Right now, I'm spritzing with a watery aloe vera, then applying my actives, then the Gold Bond Pure Moisture, then the Cerave Healing Ointment (at night) or the Vanicream Facial Moisturizer with SPF (morning). I've tried heavier moisturizers, such as the Cerave Moisturizing Cream, which works well on my body. It works well for sealing things in, but doesn't seem to provide as much water or oil as I need. *sigh* my skin is never simple!

Commercials these days showing us the large volume of shampoo that they are using creating a generous foam 😅 it is tempting i can tell that but does it worth it ? Probably no because that creates a nightmare for our scalp. I also agree that cool water is miserable during winter 😅 but i do that because due to my scald accident i got used to it😊❤. Your tips always work Doctor Andrea ❤.

Yes, it's highly possible to get your hairs back as strong as they were earlier. But, you need to closely obey some rules.
Rule #1 - Once you rise early in the morning, have at least 1 glass of water.
Rule #2 - You should massage your nails, known as balayam.
Rule #3 - Apply reactivate serum by liitllextra everyday.
Rule #4 - On every weekend, get curd from the market and mix half a lemon in it, let it sit it overnight. Apply this next morning to your scalp
Rule #5 - Don't apply oil to your hairs in daytime, since there is too much pollution and dust outside. Using oil can cause dust to linger on your hair for an extended period
Adopting these 5 rules as habits can promote hair growth and enhance the strength and thickness of your hair.

I went to the derm and told them I have dandruff but my scalp is dry not oily. They said that was confusing. I was diagnosed with Seborrheic Derm but that usually constitutes oiliness. The meds/shampoo they prescribed for fungal infection did not work. I think I have atopic dermatitis. Nothing works. My scalp used to produce oil naturally but now it feels like it doesn’t produce any at all. Aside from products and routines, how can I make my scalp produce oil on its own again?

please helppp, i used to always use any chemical spf, never had any issues, and i tried 3 drying mineral spfs and damaged my barrier. whilst having a damaged barrier, a chemical spf caused lots of irritation and pimples so i just cut it out to heal it. when i start spf again, should i go back to chemical or look for a hydrating mineral one that won’t dry me out and cause a damaged barrier?

Pls recommend shampoos im from Europe. I have dry itchy scalp w flakes but oily roots/hair it’s so confusing and I don’t think it’s dandruff. I don’t use styling products so a baby shampoo goes well? Ty! Silcone sulfate free or not?

If you haven't tried it already, maybe drop the shampoo entirely and just do apple cider vinegar a couple times a week. Takes a few weeks to work its magic if your hair and scalp is used to getting shampoo regularly

Found a shampoo with urea, glycerin, panthenol and aloe vera. Even though it is a shampoo, will it still be able to moisturize the scalp?

Hello, can you add Turkish subtitle option?

    • @ann4934
      @ann4934 9 місяців тому +1

I was able to change the subtitles on this video to Turkish using the closed captioning options. First, click the CC icon at the bottom of the video to turn on closed captioning. Second, click the gear icon and select Subtitles/CC. On the next menu click Auto-translate and you should get a list of languages to choose from.

Both of your links are for the same product. The ordinary product isnt linked. The Seen restore only has 55% positive rating. Hmmm. The other has 33% positive ratings. Hmm. promo?

The commercials on tv starting to annoy me. If you have flakes it could be dry scalp which is different from dandruff but most ppl dont know and actually have to have a dermatologist, tell you but ofc most dont and assume they are one in the same. Most ppl just dont brush their hair enuff, which ofc she didnt mention at all. Leave it to another dr to tell you to buy products to help with dry scalp. Did she get paid for promoting them?
