On a side note, I started a Conquest play through recently and was reading the insane story and like, the reasoning corrin uses for siding with nohr makes absolutely no sense. Ryoma is pointing out garron was trying to literally kill him, and Corrin just spills pseudo sympathetic dialogue non stop. Absolute insanity
@@davialmeida4442It’s mostly how it’s presented, Corrin going back because of Stockholm syndrome makes sense. People have defended peoole that have tried to kill them and keep them trapped in a small room their entire lives IRL because of it. The issue is it’s seen as a noble thing Corrin’s doing.
I tune into 3 or 4 streams a year, tuning in to watch this whole event was peak content. Someone found out that the only known clip of Ryoma killing the boss was scuffed. This led to chat debating whether it was possible for the whole stream. When it happened we lost our shit. I love this community lmao
@serpent2776 What i meant was that chat was trying to find a clip during the stream because people thought it was coded to be impossible. The only clip anyone could find, was from some video with like 80 views and it turned out the guy was playing a difficulty rom hack or something, so no one knew for sure until Excelblem got the kill
Considering you've had to rely on a unit that isn't even available on Conquest just to get through the prologue chapters, I can't imagine how difficult it'll be doing the rest of Conquest.
"I made a simulation that will let me calculate the odd's of Ryoma winning!" "So you did that BEFORE doing the map, right?...right?" On an actual note - this run keeps getting crazier!
due to fates using hybrid rn, the numbers used for calculation here are slightly inaccurate. ryoma's 55/~59% is actually ~57%, ???'s 72/~85% is actually ~81%, and most importantly, ???'s 42/~35% is just 42%. overall ryoma's hit rate decreases ~2%, while ???'s averages an increase of ~3%, which means ryoma's odds of winning are actually worse than the calculated ~1.5%, not by a lot, but it is still worse
Ive played fates an embarrassing amount of times, and I have never seen ryoma win. I always figured there was some coding tomfoolery that prevented ryoma from ever landing lethal.
Just imagine if Ryoma is impossible to be beat with zero strength when technically he's the one who allowed Exselbem into the conquest route
We will thank Ryoma for his service by siding with Nohr and invading Hoshido.

@@davialmeida4442 What? Fates Story being batshit and badly written? Say it ain't so~
We honor his ability and prowess by leaving him at full strength and not make a mockery of him by reducing it to 0 (he would still carry birthright)

@@Boarbatrice I chose to return to Nohr because of Camilla and I am proud of it

How is the clip of Ryoma killing the boss scuffed?

I've seen it happening on my un-modded 3ds
@@Longboardguyy Oh, TeeGee has a video playing Conquest on "pacifist" mode where I saw him have Ryoma kill the whole map.
Is it really this rare to have Ryoma kill the boss by himself? It's happened to me at least twice.

1.5% is actually way better than what you'd expect from the "forced loss" situation that Ryoma's in
Even on Conquest playthrough, Ryoma saves the run
I love the mental image of a berserk dragon running scared while someone else fights on his behalf.
I can't imagine Ryoma losing

If this ever happens for the revelations route, hope you take a look at TeeGee’s pacifist run for some potential options
On my last playthrough of Fates, before my DS broke, Ryoma killed the boss for me. I didn't realize it was such a rare occurance.
I think its more likely on lower dificultys

Lobster helps you out even in a conquest run
Ryoma the previous chapter: "No Excel, hang in there. You can do it yourself."
Ryoma this chapter: "Fine, I'll do it myself."
And this is the end for the Ryoma depency
Ryoma being the ultimate crutch character is just so satisfying
What an entertaining Birthright playthrough!
LMAO Ryoma the MVP that will allow the Conquest Run to even exist. What a chad.
Ive played fates an embarrassing amount of times, and I have never seen ryoma win. I always figured there was some coding tomfoolery that prevented ryoma from ever landing lethal.
Birthright gaming strikes again, rely on Ryoma to solo the map for you
This is just the bizzaro version of how to usually play BOF
Gunter and Ryoma kill stealing, but this time it’s simply to survive
Ryoma is scythe. Everyone else is wheat.

Incredible run
I always wondered what the "IF" in the Japanese title 'Fire Emblem Fates IF' stood for... now I know.
We're free from chapter 5 lunatic hell! Crazy that you could survive that with no strength/magic!
If Conquest turns out to be impossible like this, will you try a different route instead?
Interesting-Maneuver!
Exceblum, are you planning to do a long form video of this run when it's over?
And Merry Christmas!
2:40 how many languages do you know? Just the one?
i can’y imagine that this run will be possible
Nah, poison strike and savage blow exists
I’ve actually seen it happen before in one of my games, but it was modded, so idk if that changed anything.
Kaze will come back in chapter 12 or is just dead?
Pre-routesplit deaths aren't permanent past the routesplit
He will come back, but all exp he gained during BoF is lost - he'll be lvl 9, no matters what.
Isn't Ryoma impossible to hit during like, the first two turns or something ?
Edit : Oh whoops, that was taken into account. Carry on !
It's first three combats. So during his second attack he can get hit, though unlikely due to duelist blow.
I don't think conquest is possible, but maybe birthright and/or revelation
Doesn't revelations have enemy stat inflation?
I think this run is softlocked at chapter 10... thats my bet
Oni-savage? More like Onii-lover
Ryoma carring the run, are you sure this is not birthright?
