    Amen I live in chronic pain, but I always manage to do something around the house, I tell my husband this is God giving me strength and Grace because without Him I wouldn't be able to do anything. Praise and Glory to God 👐 thank you for sharing God's word ⚘

    This was so personal this week. Usually, I listen to my 1 Samuel study earlier, but this week was so hectic that I am just hearing it, and oh boy did I need it. I have so much in front of me to tackle right now, and I felt like I was failing in certain areas. But when you said that God commands my strength, my heart lit up!! That is exactly what I am doing now. Reading Psalm 68:28 and trusting God to command my strength.
    Also when God orchestrated David's discovering of the Amalekites by having the Amalekite servant cross his path then take David directly to the camp tells me that God WILL put things in path for my victory. That though I cannot foresee those things, if I move forward in faith they are waiting for me!!....trusting and and moving in faith.
    Thank You Lord, I got it!
    Thank you Kim for another on time study!!!

      Yes, yes, YES...."God WILL put things in path for my victory..." That walk of faith can be scary, but passages like this in the word of God build up our FAITH! I love the word! We can see what God has done and what He's able to do in our own lives. And we know He is faithful. Praying He commands your strength, sis!

    I’m always amazed by just how merciful God is.... we ignore Him so much of the time, but as soon as we turn to Him,He’s always there for us. Who else in our lives would tolerate us like this!!

    Thank you , for that word sister. Really enjoyed, it, and love the way you explain things, so clear, and not talking real fast , so you can get the things, your saying. I need strength now, I have lost most of my family, I'm 57 yrs old. I'm an only child, no kids, and now , know parents. My dad died when I was 11 yrs old of Cancer, so after he died , it was just me and mom, she raised me to be a decent human being, and we were very, very close, we went shopping, together, back in the day every where she went I was with her. She was my rock, on earth, and a very strong woman. She wasn't worldly, and even tho I'm an only child, she didn't spoil me with material things, she was their, in my life. She died May 17, 2011, she was about 73 when she died of Cancer, like my dad. My girlfriend was supposed to have had Cancer, and told me she had 6-12 months, left, and we had been close friends, for about 8 yrs, I was always their for her with her trials, cause her kid's acted like they didn't care that much, because she was a functional alcoholic. Anyway, toward the end, she started saying evil stuff, and acting kind of rude. So we became a little distant, but she made it a point to call where, I was living the front desk, told them tell Crystal, I'm dying. Anyway, he hurt me, and I called her. Then maybe, 3 or 4 months, later, didn't even know my mom had Cancer, neither did she, I think, they only, gave her 3 months, and I lived with my mother most of my life minus, last 8 yrs, but we, were still always together. Broke my heart to hear that, it felt like I was just dumped in a world, I didn't understand how this, and why it happened to me like that. I miss my mom, so, after funerals, when you need support a lot of black families, can be other's to, disappear. Only got cousins, and a few left. maybe 10, and I'm steady loosing so many, since her death. My mom died May 17, 2011, and my best friend the girl died, August. Her kid's took over, after, she got sick, after not being their for her, and didn't tell me anything. Found out from her security guard, she passed away, after all those years of hanging together. Didn't tell me when an where her service was. God and me, brought her through her trials. After my mom died, I lost some of my faith and trying to get it back, Cause After God, she was all I had, I found out after her death, when you need help, people hide, and don't wanna help. Their not Godly or spiritual and I have to stay on my path. Now. Thanks, and going to church now, and trying to get a relationship, with my Lord again. After mom died, my family and friends, could care less, and I've done nothing to any of them. Your a joy to listen to, keep up the work young lady. Sure our father is PROUD. nothing but death around me, not to much fun anymore because of finances. Trying to keep going.

    Beautiful lesson sis! I Love how David seeked The Lord and he answered. Going in the enemy's camp and taking it All back (Glory to God). Yes, the truths of our God: Faithful and our Strength. Call on him w/your whole heart and he will answer. Cling Cling Cling and he will not let you down.

    Psalm 18:1....yes and amen! That's one of the verses I have on my laptop homepage, so it's the first thing I see when I get ready to work each day. Love how David FINALLY came back to God, and look at what happened! I especially love how David shared so generously and freely from the riches God allowed him to recover. I pray for that generous and giving spirit as well. When I finally realized a few years ago that I DON'T have to be strong, I can let God be my strength, it was such a beautiful realization! I pray that everyone struggling with trying to do it all, or holding the world on their own shoulders would be willing to set it down and try giving it to God for just a second.....you will NEVER go back! God is awesome and our strong refuge forever!

      Oh, I love that that verse is on your laptop homepage. Psalm 18:1-3 will NEVER grow old for me! :) It boggles my mind that God will be our STRENGTH (and soooo much more) and when I think of how strong that strength is! I'm with you, my sis....I will NEVER go back....it's too good! :)

    I will love Thee, O Lord, my strength. The Lord is my rock, my fortress and my deliverer;
    My God is my rock, in whom I take refuge, my shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold.
    I called to the Lord, who is worthy of praise, and I have been saved from my enemies.
    The cords of death entangled me; the torrents of destruction overwhelmed me.
    The cords of the grave coiled around me; the snares of death confronted me.
    In my distress I called to the Lord; I cried to my God for help.
    From his temple he heard my voice; my cry came before him, into his ears. --Psalm 18:1
