Wow! What a blessing you are to me with your teachings, you have helped me to cling to God and may God bless you for this. Please don't stop teaching His word... Glory be to God!
Wow! Sister Kim 1 Samuels ended with conviction to always follow God's Will, to cling to His word and to always remember He is able to do all, we just have to believe and obey👐 amen. Can't wait for 2 Samuels. Be blessed sister ⚘
"It was important to [Saul] how he died....if only it was important to him how he lived." Wow. A lesson for all of us on the importance of living for God alone, and clinging even when our worldly stuff seems overwhelming. God sees our hearts and will be our strength in the face of everything this world throws at us. I have to remind myself of that often - that as long as I am living for Him, other people's opinions and actions don't hold sway. I will "not get weary of doing good", no matter what, because I know my God has got me! My mind is set ABOVE. Poor Saul - how desperate and afraid, and help was just a prayer away! This was a phenomenal journey through 1 Samuel; cannot wait for 2 Sam! :)
Kimmmm, a group of 10-14 of us just completed a summer study of 1 Samuel. We started late May and finished today. Such fun, listening to your commentary and teaching. Such a blessing for us and I hope God was glorified. The last question asked was: What lessons did studying 1 Samuel teach you about clinging to God? Some of the answers were: 1. God says obedience is better than sacrifice 2. God keeps His promises, we reap what we sow, good or bad, 3. God grows us through what we think are seasons of despair. He uses those seasons for others to reach out to help us and for us to reach back to help others. We just don't always see it when we are in the midst of it. (Jess said to tell you that was hers, although paraphrased.) 4. God is looking for people who are after His heart. So be encouraged, Kim. God is using you and His Word in a mighty way.
Wowwww, praise God for the fruit that comes from studying His word! You all are on fire for the Lord and His word, and it’s such a blessing to see. Thank you so much for sharing this. So so good! May the Lord multiply the seed sown into your hearts and bring forth a harvest. 💚🙏🏽💚🙏🏽
Wow, I really appreciate your breakdown of 1st Samuel! This is really the first time I've "studied" a book of the Bible and not just read it. So insightful. I loved it, felt like I was right in there, seeing how David poured his heart out to God with no filter was so inspiring bc God hears us and will guide and protect us...even when things seem uncertain. This was such a timely study for me. God is faithful! See you in 2nd Samuel!!!
WE MADE IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Thank you soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo oooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo much for breaking down these chapters every week!! Even though my work has encroached, and in turn I end up watching the videos later than usual, I still anticipate them; they are my week's treat! And I am so glad we're not stopping and moving on to 2Samuel! And you are so right about Saul caring so deeply how he died, but not on how he lived. That keeps me on high alert to make the most of my life. To go to heaven with empty pockets having spent every talent for HIS glory!!! May God richly bless you for taking the time to teach us!! :)
Oops! Bite Size Bible Studies is JCGIRL0001!! I didn't realize I commented from that account! Hello unofficial mentor, I started my own Bible study channel (ain't got nothing on there yet! HA!) And I replied from that one. But I am sooooooooooooo grateful for this study and I'm listening to 2 Samuel chapter 1 now!!!
Ha! I didn't know you were Bite Size Bible Studies...I love it! And YES, we made it!!!! Thank YOU for encouraging me along the way, chapter by chapter, and for your insights! I truly didn't know who would stick around for the whole book....it was a complete step of faith. But I'm so thankful for you and so many others who made this such a rich study. Blessings to you, my sis!
What a book! God showed us His heart in this book so often. It ended with conviction and 2 Samuel is sure to be just as demonstrative of His love for us. So excited about 2 Samuel teachings.
Thank you sister, for this series! I have been edified and blessed by it!! May the Lord bless you for your labors!! Looking forward to hearing 2 Samuel!!
So thankful to God that the study has been a blessing to you, James! Thankful as well for your encouragement. Yes, so looking forward to studying 2 Samuel with you!
Yay Praise God I just finished this entire book series with you! I learned so much, and you're SUCH a GREAT story teller ( teacher) we are so blessed that God is using you to teach us out here on Utube. Now 2 Samuel here I come ! Lol Thank you!
Thank God that we have completed 1 Samuel, I pray that God give you strength as we study 2 Samuel. Your channel has helped make my relationship with God stronger!!! God Bless you!
Thank you so much for letting God use you to teach so many and I’m so blessed to have found you just recently ,by Gods’ grace to do this study . I had to listen 1-1/2 to 2 hours every night to catch up and I did. Now I’m on track and I am going to come and study with you . I look forward to Sundays so I can do this study.Thank you Sister Kim, may you be highly blessed and I’m going to get your books for Christmas gifts as well for me too:)
Wow, you got caught up! :) So thankful you look forward to this study. Praying God blesses each and every one of us in a special way as we study 2 Samuel together.
I love it when you read the bible (with a big smile on your face) We can see on your face how much you love your God. This chapter is interesting, because God is showing his signature I CAN BE WHO EVER WANT TO BE if it serves his plans for the future. The meaning of his name is I CAN BE WHO EVER I NEED TO BE it's Jehovah or Jahweh. He wants him to Praise his name. He is the God of Abraham Jacob and all the ones who have proven there love for him. This God is exclusive he wants exclusive devotion. Everybody have a name so has our God. There are many Gods on this earth. You can pray to the wrong one if your not using the name of our creator. I really love what your doing. Thank you so much. Greetings from Marianne from the Netherlands.
thank you so much for these videos. the way you read and analyze the book is so amazing. i love starting my mornings with my Bible and your voice. thank you. I can't wait to start reading 2 Samuel 🥰
Praise God for you Kim.. 1Samuel has truly been a blessing to me.. Knowing I can't (We can't) do nothing with out God on our side. I know to always look to him because he's the Author and Finisher of our faith. Everything is in his hands, so I know to only CLING! God bless looking forward to 2 Samuel!
Thank you once again, and thank God for your life. It’s been a wonderful study and journey. Thank God for the lessons. Looking forward to the 2 Samuel. Much love. 😘😘❤️❤️🙏🏾
i have loved this study! it's been such an eye opener sitting down daily and going in depth in His word! thank you so so so much for blessing me with your ability to translate the word in a way i can understand! looking forward to 2 Samuel!
Phew... what a book! What a study!!! Praise be to God for the gift of teachers to the Body! I am in a situation right now where I am clinging to God like a barnacle on a boat!!! Lololololo (the joy of the Lord is my strength lol). Seeing the comparison of David's results verses Saul's when we cling is encouraging. We serve the same God of David!!!! Looking forward to 2nd Samuel. I know I could read it on my own but I enjoy this unified format where we are all studying it together. Thanks again for your time and commitment of taking on such a large class Kim...May the Lord continue to use you for the edifying of the Body!!
Love that analogy "lika a barnacle on a boat"! Amen, sis - I am right there with you clinging like crazy in my own stuff! May God continue to be your joy and strength as your situation is entrusted to Him.
I love that analogy too (like a barnacle on a boat).....clinging is to REAL! God can truly remind us of our need to cling to Him, and I love that He is ALWAYS faithful. So thankful that you enjoy this study format, and love that we are moving to 2 Samuel together. Thank you as well for your sweet encouragement!
I’ve listened to this chapter 2 or 3 times and I was trying to write something smart, spiritual and powerful but what keeps coming to mind and in my spirit is that song by Daryl Coley God is Sovereign!!! I’m sad Jonathan had to die but we know how things happen when family members are left behind. Lord thank you for this journey may we all be transformed or at least changed and understand from Miriam, Hannah, Samuel, Saul, Jonathan and David what it means and does not mean to cling to you. Amen
Amen, Laverne...."God is Sovereign" is enough! So much truth packed in those three words! :) I was so blessed studying this book with you. Thank you for your insights and encouragement throughout. You are a blessing!
Kim Honestly God Led me to your page cause for some reason I had a Problem understanding the Word and Glory to God you’re helping me understand it more and more so I thank you I subscribed and I will continue to Read along with you
Awesome! Awesome! Awesome! Thank you so much for this study. It went by so fast lol. I was so blessed and encouraged to continue to CLING to God and trust that He is and will always be our good father. God bless you Kim! ❤️❤️❤️
Aww, what a praise unto God! So thankful you were encouraged to cling and trust Him! God is so faithful. So thankful to have studied this book with you and thank you so much for your sweet encouragement!
Oh what a wonderful book!! Kim you did such an excellent job teaching this lesson...you even left us with a bit of a cliff-hanger. LOL You had me screaming at the end...Yes God!!! I'm patiently waiting on 2 Samuel because I know you will make it fun and interesting!
Aww, LaToya, you are such an encourager! So thankful for your spirit and thankful to be studying with you! I'm looking forward to what God will do as we study 2 Samuel....He is so faithful!
Hello Kim this was really good reading wanted to point out another reason Saul I believe Saul fell into a trap it's because he did what God instructed the Israelites not to do and that is go to mediums on behalf of the dead it was a huge thing that was forbidden among them because they were consulting the devil not their loved dead ones. Leviticus 19:31 Verse Concepts 'Do not turn to mediums or spiritists; do not seek them out to be defiled by them. I am the LORD your God. Leviticus 20:6 Verse Concepts 'As for the person who turns to mediums and to spiritists, to play the harlot after them, I will also set My face against that person and will cut him off from among his people.

"...help was just a prayer away"....wow.... What a sobering truth for us as well, when we begin to fret, stray, doubt....just a prayer away. And isn't it such a blessing that we can focus on Him alone? when we *know* we've heard from Him, it's such a comfort to be able to stay fixed on that, no matter what other winds may blow. Soooo looking forward to all of the 2 Samuel discussion. SO glad to be studying with you, sis!
Wow! What a blessing you are to me with your teachings, you have helped me to cling to God and may God bless you for this. Please don't stop teaching His word... Glory be to God!
So enjoyed your great insight throughout and this book of Samuel. Thank you, for hearing from God and obeying. 😊
Praising God that this has been a help to you! Glory to God indeed....blessings to you!

Hi, Shurla, yes, we covered that in the 1 Samuel 28 lesson, including those very scriptures.
Thank you so much for the confirmation that you just delivered and I received. GLORY BE TO FATHER-GOD. AMEN 🙏🙏🙏
Praise God! So thankful it was timely confirmation!
So did Jonathan die because of the oath he had broken? Saul said do not eat, but Jonathan ate the honey.
