only thing was they had to weld on a small 2.5 diameter piece on both sides since the stock pipe is 2.75. Other than that I haven't had issues. However, after listening to some of the cruising footage here multiple times, I found an exhaust leak, but it wasn't from the welds of the flowmaster, nor the new magnaflow cat. The foil type exhaust manifold gasket has a minor leak and you can actually hear it around the 3:57 mark when I'm driving through the downtown area. The gasket was from a cheap kit from ebay. Pretty funny, I bought a better multi-layered steel gasket, but haven't installed it yet. Thanks for watching 🤙
@@FranciscoJavierOutdoors oh okay i was just wondering because ima buy the flowmaster 40 and need to know what i need so it can fit so it’s gonna need 2.5 diameter pipes on both sides then so it can fit?
@@Salomon-r6m yeah I was going to cut and clamp it myself, but decided to go the weld route through this shop. I was going to get the 2.5 ID to 2.75 ID adapters to clamp it on, but they're kind of hard to find. If you're welding, small pieces of 2.5 will help transition from the stock 2.75 to 2.5 that's on the flowmaster inlet. For the outlet, gonna need about 2-3 feet of 2.5 since the flowmaster is much shorter than the stock muffler, gonna have to compensate that space with an additional 2+/- feet maybe of 2.5. If that makes sense
@leomarmason I like it man, but ain't going to lie it is a little loud. I have a f150 with the 5.0, it also has a flowmaster, but still has a resonator. The drone on the v8 isn't as obnoxious as the i6, maybe cause of the tone of the v8 is deeper? Other than that the revs sound awesome and at cruising speeds it also sounds great, but when getting up to speed like on the highway there's no getting away from thay drone, just put the music very loud haha. Thanks for watching
I put duals on mine runs great
i actually considered a dual set up too, but decided to go this route in the meantime. thanks for watchig
Can’t beat the sound of an in-line 6

I dont remember the part #, but its the Flowmaster 40 series. Thanks for watching

Since you been driving with it for a minute how do you like it? How’s it on the highway?
