I’m from TN but live in UT. I love watching your videos!! Feels like I’m back home ♥️♥️ I am the same with earthy color tones. They are just classic colors that will last a long time.
Enjoyed the podcast once again! From a fellow country girl, if you want to share more of your day to day life from the farm, I wouldn’t mind seeing more of the garden, how you process honey etc….. Just sharing some video inspo :).
I’m making the coloring book raglan in earthen this fall/winter! I have had the yarn since her mush club preorder and it’s definitely on my list of sweaters I need to make this year lol. It’s such a gorgeous earthy purple.
Fantastic Fall knitting "plans!" Love your show and can't wait to see your progress! And know that we knitters, your people, never judge our right to change our plans!
I know you're excited about Rhinebeck and what sweaters you,ll be wearing. Keep in mind that NY afternoons can be warm and we have cool evenings. I enjoy all your podcast!
I knit a Yell cardigan similar to The Gentle Knitter. Now, I want one in the colors of Fall. Thanks for the inspiration. It’s a fun knit but it’s one of those knits that ebs and flows. It took me over a year to finish but it’s one of my well worn knits in the fall and winter
Hi, if you want help with the color template for Yell, I'd be happy to help. I recolored everything in the graphics program, otherwise I would get lost in the gray instructions :)
Hi Kaci! Please never stop making plans. I could watch you all day choosing patterns, yarns and colors. I looooooove it soooo much. Thank you for sharing.
Kaci, good luck😊, I too am over ambitious, but it’s the dreaming that’s 1/2 the fun! And we all forge forward slowly, because knitting is a slow art. I too one day would like to make a Natasha Hornby mosaic shawl, not there yet though, I think I will join the Elena knot along with eweknit Toronto.,as I have that pattern in my library, which was free😊, so thanks for that, that will get me motivated!happy autumn 🍂
I'm finishing up my first knit shawl and might start a crocheted one....shawls are always good. I'd like to knit my first sweater this autumn/winter, too. Hopefully that will happen!
You will not regret putting markers on your Marie Wallin cardigan 😄 Maggie of SONDER podcast did a beautiful Yell Cardigan too! www.youtube.com/@SONDERknit/videos
Wow you have some great plans for the fall. I bought Annemor from Susan Crawford. Alice Starmore's work looks too hard. So I will be making a similar one and probably changing the bottom pattern to something else. I am using local yarns with lots of neutrals and dark greens. Thanks for getting me excited about that project.
I love hearing you talk, the southern accent is so cute 😀 Me too, I really like the colors of the Yell cardigan with the light color background. It's a gorgeous autumnal color palette. I'm just afraid that with fair isle knitting, the dark contrast color will show through the light main color..might have to do a swatch of that upper body color work to see if that will be a problem
I recently designed a hat using North Bay Fibers Elemental Worsted and am currently designing a shawl with it as well. I am obsessed and you will love working with that yarn!
Watching a week late but loved it and all your projects you sing tl my heart. I have so many projects lined up and have started some but there are always more and more I live in Michigan and that's where north bay Fibre is from and now you have perked my interest in her yarn so here we go now to add another project maybe the shall that you are planning on knitting 😊
You are so brave taking on that fingering weight colorwork cardi! Can’t wait to see how it works up along with all your other project plans 😊 and it’s totally fine to change your mind - I rarely knit anything I set out to make at the beginning of each season! 😅
I made a Lunae shawl with NBF Elemental Fingering and I love it! Yours will be gorgeous! I wanted to let you know that I ended up running out of CC2 on the very last row of the shawl, right before the bind off. Apparently the pattern does not have any buffer included for the yardage requirements.
I always feel better after your podcast. I have 4 active sweater WIP’s right now and now I know I’m not alone. ❤ I just cast on the Corran Cardigan by Creabea. Loving it, can’t wait to see her new designs.
Girl, you always bring smiles. Same camp of big eyes and appetite for All the Things. 😂 might join you in that gorgeous sweater KAL. Hope to see you and Becky at W&F or Rhinebeck. It’s a BLAST
The Lunae shawl looks gorgeous, great choice! She had several beautiful shawls; thank you for mentioning that designer. Best of luck with all yor fall knitting plans.💜
Kaci, I love your fall lineup. The patterns and colorways are so perfect for you! Your podcast is causing me to get really focused about my fall and winter projects. Best of luck with your plans!!
My fall projects all centered around Rhinebeck outfits- sew the Elmwood skirt in a fabulous French Linen I bought on a trip years ago, to wear with Oksa sweater just blocked. 2) finish knitting Afra sweater, I’m in the second sleeve, it’s a beast 200 stitches of 1x1 rib 6 inches left😢, sew a Queen’s gambit pinafore dress in a vintage Harrison tweed wool, not started 3) Dye the yarn and knit the heirloom quilt sweater that came out recently, already sewed a green linen Franconia dress 4) Finish knitting a Gemstone sweater sleeves done, haven’t started the body and sew a pair of stretch corduroys in the Ames pattern. 😅 And….hoping to sneak in a shawl, the cabled trellis shawl 😂 oh geez only 49 days to go
I'm sure whatever u make will b lovely. Women r more adaptive to their environment. After all, we r primary parent for kids who change every day. Do u knit for ur kids? Whatever u do have fun.😊
Normally, I never use stitch markers for colorwork but I’m currently knitting the Misurina sweater and my tired little brain could not keep the the lace, cables and colorwork straight. Wow, the right tools make all the difference! I’m thinking I’m might just use stitch markers for everything. Thanks for the fall update. 🍁❤️🧶😊
You live in Arkansas. You can stretch these over to winter and nobody will notice or care, because fall temperatures don’t even happen until November.
Camellia Fiber Co is just lovely, as is the owner! It's a small, women-owned company.
I’m from TN but live in UT. I love watching your videos!! Feels like I’m back home ♥️♥️ I am the same with earthy color tones. They are just classic colors that will last a long time.
Ambitious! Beautiful choices. Steeking terrifies me. I have a project requiring steeking that I have avoided for multiple years. I am chicken.
Enjoyed the podcast once again! From a fellow country girl, if you want to share more of your day to day life from the farm, I wouldn’t mind seeing more of the garden, how you process honey etc….. Just sharing some video inspo :).
I need to add more for sure! It’s so hard to video while we are working for some reason 😂
Great plans!!❤
beautiful design ❤❤❤😂

I hoping to do a Mary Wallen pattern this fall/winter I will be doing the Finch Fairilse jumper. It's free pattern on Lovecraft.
I know you're excited about Rhinebeck and what sweaters you,ll be wearing. Keep in mind that NY afternoons can be warm and we have cool evenings. I enjoy all your podcast!
Yes I probably won’t be able to wear wool 😂😂😂

So true! And it’s such a pretty design! ❤❤❤
Don’t worry about weaving in the ends of the colorwork cardigan , they will be in the steek anyway 🤩
That’s true 😂
Oh my goooosh you’re knitting the Yell! I’ve been dreaming of that for so long. Yours is going to look so beautiful 😍
I love it! It will take me 3 years
I'm finishing up my first knit shawl and might start a crocheted one....shawls are always good. I'd like to knit my first sweater this autumn/winter, too. Hopefully that will happen!
You can do it!

Knitting outside with the pups. So enjoyed today. Thank you. I miss the chickens. How are they?

Lovely knitting goals! It was wonderful to hear you say The Gentle Knitter, it’s been so long since we’ve seen Nicole. I hope she is healing well. 🌸
I am so impressed with the many things you do. I would love to see a video on your time management.
Thanks for the idea!
Me too! As a mama with a little baby and one on the way I’m struggling making more then a few rows a day.
I bought the yarn for a yell cardigan with a lighter main colour. A year later and I still haven't cast on yet though...
I have wanted to knit the Lunae shawl for such a long time. It is so gorgeous!
Lovely informative podcast. Thanks❤

Where do you purchase the beautiful linen fabics you sew? I am in the US.
Black mountain yarn co has some beautiful linens! Tell them Kaci sent you if you end up finding some you like 😉
Hello from Mounds, Illinois.
Oooh! I’m sold on the Elena sweater. That is one I would make multiples of.
It’s so pretty!!!!
I always feel better after your podcast. I have 4 active sweater WIP’s right now and now I know I’m not alone. ❤ I just cast on the Corran Cardigan by Creabea. Loving it, can’t wait to see her new designs.

I love the shawl colors you chose. Help me pick mine.
You have gorgeous colors picked out
I love how Kaci did not swatch this colorwork Cardigan and has dreams of banging it out by Rhinebeck. Dreams are made of hope filled wishes 😂
Three years later she finishes it 😂
I love Jill’s yarn and I love Natasja’s designs! I hope you enjoy knitting your Lunae!!
I’m so excited!
