I'm curious on the fuel consumption on the desert crossing and did anyone get low on fuel at the end . Nice content and very interesting. I'm from USA Tennessee
Cool video I've enjoyed watching your trip to Morocco. I'm doing the same in the new year, I'm planning on buying an VW amarok but I'm mulling over which to buy . Some say the 3.0 V6 others go for the 2.0 TDI . Its my thinking with the newer roks they all electrics. Would this be problematic in case I need to get it fixed( worst case scenario) You have done the route what would be suitable.
Amarok is a great vehicle and I’ll be going back to one at some point. Just remember the automatics don’t have low range gearboxes which limit the off-road capability. Rear diff lock is a factory option but very rare. There’s good and bad stories about the 2.0 and 3.0L however lots of maintenance and servicing is key, a 3.0L manual would be my choice, but they’re hens teeth. We still have 1 space left for the 2024 trip, why not book on and join us?
@@grittoutdoors Haha after watching your Morocco trip I would love to . Those dunes look sick. I'll have my two dogs with me ones a Samoyed he will drive you all nuts and my route is probably a tad different. I'm a surfer France on route then Morocco for a month is the plan . Definitely going for a manual low range etc. The shower and pull out awning on your set up is that your product?
@@arborleaftree1769 yes it is however I’m not longer making them anymore. I’d recommend simply going straight to Alucab or Bush company for that stuff, it’s the best there is
Another beautiful adventure. A hug from Portugal
