So many of George's songs are underrated. The underrated ones that I personally love are I Me Mine, Blue Jay Way, Long Long Long, It's all Too Much, Old Brown Shoe, and The Inner Light.

George seemed like such a beautiful man with a beautiful soul! His songs never fail to make me smile inside and out. I’ve been a fan since I was little. He has a very special place in my heart! He passed away 4/5 years before I was born, but his impact is still beautiful and so felt. Peace and Love!

I was one of the lucky ones that went to see George in concert at the Albert Hall I was right at the front and George was about six feet from me as he was going through his songs which ever one he sang I sang along with him, I think he noticed as he said Hello to me. I think he must of thought blimey she really is a fan if she knows all my songs! God Bless George never will forget that 'Hello'.

No, not exactly. John is now being recognized as having one of the greatest voices in the history of rock and roll. Yes, George had a great voice, but it is John who had the best voice, not just in the Beatles, but among all rock bands.

However, John taught himself more than enough musical technique to say what he wanted to say, and his voice was distinctive. As a songwriting duo, they are unsurpassed. George may have been overshadowed by these 2 titans but he was indispensable to the Beatles, as was Ringo. George’s solo career was as good as any of them.

When I was young in the sixties George Harrison was my favourite Beatle. Looking at it now I think it was because George, with the longest hair, the broadest Liverpool accent, not to mention his engaging angular facial features, was the most Beatle Beatle. When I grew up and became all sophisticated John Lennon became my favourite Beatle, but it's these George Harrison songs that take me back to the days of the Beatles and Beatlemania. I've often wondered if kids these days, despite their passionate and sincere admiration for the Beatles, have ever had the actual feeling of Beatlemania. I have to say I don't even remember it myself. But I long for those wonderful days. Since then I have seen a lot of music, seen the good music of the 60s and early 70s disappear to be replaced by the talentless Punk contributions played by people who couldn't measure up to the fine standard of their antecedents volume and distortion replacing true talent. Then there was the gaudy but great stuff of the 80s, pretty good stuff in the nineties too. Somewhere along the line, it deteriorated into featureless rubbish as it is now with few exceptions including but not only rap and hip-hop which is cleverly rhyming and put together but mediocre and often violent lyrics rhythmically recited accompanied by music but isn't music itself. One day while in a shop I heard music being played which reminded me of the 60s although, perhaps strangely, it didn't sound dated. I think it must've been good music otherwise I wouldn't have given it a second thought. I asked the shop girl what it was and she said it was a modern band. I could say this happened about 10 years ago but that isn't relevant. So let's say it was good music, so maybe there is hope for the future if people can produce unequivocally good music. If so, it can't happen soon enough.
