    My name is Erich and I live in Italy welcome to my channel. I used to play golf on and off for many years, but I started my journey again about 8 years ago, changing my swing completely.
    My goal is to become a single figure handicap golfer in the near future.
    To achieve this goal, I built my own backyard putting green and set up a backyard golf net. I love playing in my backyard green, doing drills, club reviews and playing at the range and at the course to get better at the game and ultimately reach my goal (hopefully).

    Bryson DeChambeau when he swing is showing us how to stay on swing plain from start to finish and it all starts with ulnar deviation
    I have turned both arms in to get a more stable arm club feeling
    I got single length clubs with JumboMax grips on all my clubs … great combo
    Bryson is no dummy
    I’m glad your staying with it 👍

      I'm experimenting with it, I will try this method at the course and see how it goes.

    The thing that makes this hard to do for most is the lie angle change of equipment needed also it does suit one length irons better again cost of this is prohibited for most. Stock driver woods not an issue. Interesting point what your doing twisting lead arm is locking in the 45 angle which is the golden mastermove in golf ❤swing looks solid 👍

      If you twist your left arm clockwise this will fix that face issue, you’ll see that the face goes back to square

    BG. Looks like you are onto something that could be good for a number of golfers, especially for those trying to straighten their left arm. You are meaning that the left wrist is slightly downward pointing to create this one long left arm and club type of swing.

      I tried it again today and it works, but don’t forget to hinge your wrists. I will try it at the course tomorrow and see how it goes!

      @@thebackyardgolfer7010 I have subscribed and you may have found a great niche, looking at less conventional swings and seeing if they have merit for amateur golfers.

      Thanks, I think each golfer can make their own adaptations, but in the end, the goals are the same as a traditional swing, more outside takeaway, left arm straight, it just uses a different approach

      Today I noticed something that I was not doing, my arms were on the side of my rib cage, rather than more on top, so I could not open up the arms in the style you were suggesting. Wonderful result. 😊

      I can tell you that this is a great system, I'm currently fixing my inside takeaway and finally getting some better results with a more outside takeaway- Yes, the setup is so important, but if you get it right, it will definitely stabilize the club face so much@@light1531

    You definitely looked like Bryson at 3:20!! Which is good cause he is a prime example of this style/type of swing!! Keep up the good work and thanks for passing the info on to us Erich!!🏌‍♂⛳😀

    Dude, did you just hit a 6 iron from a real practice green?!? 😢

      @thebackyardgolfer7010  3 місяці тому

      😂 yes it seems that way, but if you look closely, I'm hitting off a mat and the green is an artificial putting green

    Their swing does not work for everyone. If it did, everyone would be doing it.

      @thebackyardgolfer7010  3 місяці тому +1

      Yes that’s true, but I think a variation of it could help get better shots. I found that I don’t really have to point my wrists downward so much, it’s just a matter of experimenting and see what works for you.

      I tried it at the course today and I was missing a lot to the left, I had to make a few changes, but contact with the ball was really good
