Blimey, the State Bank featuring in an SA Great ad. Has aged like fine milk.
A rare loan from the grandiose Smicallef archive
Jeez just when you think this show can't get any better he goes and bloody does it.
Thanks! This is it though. All downhill from here.
Love the Cunnos history!
History that deserves to be remembered
Ah yes, the classic foresight of Adelaide; to pull down the Exhibition Building and replace it with the monument to oppressive architecture that is the Napier building.
Holy shit. My mum still has a mouli! exact same but in the cream colour! Used it my entire life lol. We only really used it for grating cheese though
Still keeps it in the box
The remaining few video stores here in WA all publicly blamed the customers for going under, but Galactic Video (Sign Says DVD) proves that with a focus on good customer service you can keep the dream alive. With streaming service bloat, I wouldn't be surprised if we see a mild return of ye olde video shoppes very soon.
Nice shout-out for Galactic Video! There's also a house near where I live that has a Lietzke gate, it caught my eye I never new what it was, until now.
I'm also a huge Marx Brothers fan.
🎵If the nightingales could sing like you,
They'd sing much sweeter than they do,
For you brought a new kind of love to me.🎵
Yeah I seem to remember a couple of friends’ houses when I was a kid had those copper doors. Wonder how they hold together long term?
I've never heard a 90 year old movie be called "lolworthy". I loved the scooty ending, very simpsons.
Cunningham warehouses and mr bankrupt are a must know if you live in Adelaide
That old Adelaide bus tho.. 🤔
A “Brown Bomber”
@@davidthegreen Haha people were allowed to smoke on those ones.. And cinemas back then..
@@MrMelo34 Can’t do that any more
Performing for free but I would still feel like I was ripped off.
That's a neat Doctor Who collection.
Yeah pretty sure they got all of them
I don't get the pearl necklace Japan joke could someone explain it
@@judee.caulfield6386 It’s a reference to some of the wacky “adult” game shows they have in Japan
Laserdiscs are better
Quite a collection you have there
