Great practice. I did this first thing in the morning and my hamstrings didn’t quite have enough time to warm up and subsequently open up. I would love another morning yoga practice allowing for that gentle opening. It’s march and I am on,y just on day 28 due to injury but it’s so nice to still be in there with the challenge. Man! Way to get an invigorating flow into 20 minutes. My quads hurt when I try to extend my legs as fully as Stacy's. I envy the crisp lines of her boat, but i also am grateful for the edge of pain that keeps me from extending so fully into my "skin suit" that it bursts ... not in a Hannibal Lector sort of way, though ; ) Have a great day, whenever you are. Stacey's boat - big thumbs up. My knees were bent and I was grabbing the backs of my thighs. Beautiful demonstration Stacey. Thumbs up for the butt lift too. No way can I lift my feet up!!
Another great video, but... could you try to find another metaphor (or is it analogy) than a "skin suit"? Makes me think of Hanibal Lecter. You guys are great!
Usually great videos! This one was kind of frustrating as I has to keep moving around the house finding a straight wall, as well as breaking poses to get blocks etc. Would be great to know at the start of a video what the requrements for the workouts will be (blocks, strap, wall etc.) as well as telling ahead when blocks will be used so they can be placed appropriately (not when standing in downdog/plank and suddenly be supposed to lower down on a block). Thanks!
What exercise can I practice to improve my hip flexibility ? I've been with this challenge for a month now, I improved a lot, but I still can't bend forward without twisting my back, if I keep it straight, I can't go beyond horizontal level, I can't forward fold correctly, twisted triangle is so hard...etc. Should I work more on opening the hip or the hamstrings ?
