Watching all your videos.. awesome!!!! Thank you for sharing the information and your experience. Looking forward to your next video!!! Keep riding! 🤙🏻
Ha, I have flown my micro drone threw the Hole in the Rock (while no one was looking 🤫)! What a great place to go for a cruise on the OneWheel! Thanks for another great vid!
Dude! I live in AZ! Man! Watching you ride makes me wish I hadn't sold my pint and pint x! Hard times... Man I would've loved to have ridden with you! Have fun my dude! Maybe once I get back on my feet I'll get a new or used one! Killed my stress and anxiety riding those things man! Be safe and have a blessed day bud!
Glad to see you throwing the Enduro on. Got mine mostly together today before the trek to Phoenix. Have to finish it when I head home Sunday. Those Life Savers are no joke. The next time I come up to Phoenix, I should be cleared to ride. Won't be good enough to make the trail stuff, but should be able to hit up a Friday night ride. Cheers, and float on!
Hopefully it's cooler too!! There's some gravel trails around town that aren't too bad... that's how a lot of started and eventually got the itch to challenge ourselves to the chunky stuff.
Another 🔥 video! Getting so close to 1K bro before long you going to be passing me up! Keep up the great work. I'm going to be converting back from a GTR soon enough to the Enduro tire.... Unfortunately my GTR mod is starting to skip around on the axle.. no bueno
Haha, thx! Yea...I really had to force myself to be patient regarding doing the GTR mod... It still would be nice for tire options, but I still got the XR if I want to play around 😉
You say the Enduro is the best upgrade you can do right now, but what kind of upgrades do you think might further improve the ride? Do you think there is another upgrade available for other onewheels that will bring a bigger improvement to the GT? I am planning on getting an enduro over the winter season, so that i can get some more wear on my stock tire before I switch out.
That's a good plan! As for future upgrades that really change the ride - it would be either a lowering kit if you ride streets primarily, or aftermarket rails which can also lower the center of gravity. Personally I like having my clearance for trail riding though, and aftermarket rails are a pricey upgrade over a tire change, but do sound like the next big improvement if you have the cash.
It's soooo fun when you get the hang of it. You should join the Onewheel AZ community! We have a Facebook page and a Discord chat server broken down into categories by board type, ride areas, etc. I'd start learning at a nearby park with lots of room. Grass is nice for fall safety, but it's usually easier to learn on pavement so you can feel it out better. Just pad up!
Just switched from the stock slick to the Enduro on my GT yesterday. Didn't get a chance to put a ton of miles on it, but the difference was immediately noticeable. I get that FM is going for a stock tire that will last a long time, but doing so at the expensive of the ride is not worth it. Enduro should be the first purchase on any GT owner's list. I'd never go back to that inflexible rock of a tire that came with it. Finally rides like it should after the swap.
Naw, regular Flight Fins have much deeper hook, and they even have an extender option if you have a wider stance. Bit they are quite a bit pricier too.
I think the purpose of the stock tire having harder rubber is to help with range. Obviously softer tire you’re going to get less range. FM needed to hype up the GT to have 30+ range to sell it over the XR
Installed my tire 2 days ago. Love it as well. Have you thought about installing 1wheelparts foam grip tape for the GT? I have those slapped on all my boards so it's pretty obvious I like them lol.
I have the Pro Ride foam grip on my Pint and it's pretty nice. The problem out here is there's a lot of dirt/dust that will likely make me lose my footing when trail riding if I'm on any thing other then course grip tape. Kinda sucks cause that sandpaper scrape sucks when it hits your shins lol... 😂
@@ThatsGinterEV totally understand. I rode my friends pro rides and I liked them, but lacked the grip. The ones 1wheelparts actually make are actual grip tape on top of the foam. Imagine the pro rides with actual grip tape on top. It actually has made me more confidant on dirt as it eats up the chunk pretty well and pavement riding is a lot smoother. This ain't my video, I thought maybe you'd like to check them out. I just wanted share. ua-cam.com/video/FnuxuBTx3KI/v-deo.html
Sweet, you'll love it. Those half fenders are called the Wedge Pros from 3Dway - I have another video showing them off a little (great for curb nudge assists), but yea - I ordered them from here: www.etsy.com/listing/1181110054/wedge-pro-onewheel-gt-fender?click_key=1d421ca48a4aaae47d138ed541254582a2b9568f%3A1181110054&click_sum=73848a3c&ref=top_rated_narrowing_module_search-1&frs=1
do you ride your XR anymore or are you sold on the GT as your daily since you got the enduro. I want the GT; but then again i dont need it. i have an XR with enduro. just need some opinions
I'm on the GT 90% of the time now. If it's a shorter ride I'll hop on the XR, but if you don't have a problem with the XR's range or desire a little more torque for hill climbing, stick with the XR....it's still a great machine with a lot of aftermarket potential! 🤙🏼
Awesome video! I plan on getting one but want to put a little more mileage on the GT treaded tire and make sure there are no issues with my GT before swapping as it’s unclear if you break the warranty swapping the tire. Question: what kind of knee, elbow, and hand guards are you using?
That's a good plan. Supposedly tire swapping doesn't void warranty if you were to ask the founder (he mentions it in a video), it's a wear and tear part afterall. As for the those pads, they are linked here in my Onewheel gear page: kit.co/ThatsGinter/ginter-s-onewheel-gear-gadgets
Thanks for your video!!!!!!! I'm interesting to change my stock GT treaded tire for the enduro, I do 70% trails. But I'm not sure, I put only 8,5 PSI on my stock tire (I'm 160 lbs), and now it's so much better and smoother on trails. So did you try to lower psi on stock tire to compare to enduro?
Hi alrog! Oh ya I definitely did! I think I also ran the stock treaded GT tire as low as 8 PSI and I weigh around 140 lbs. It's night and day how softer and smoother the ride is with the Enduro. I ride the Enduro around 14 PSI now.
Great video. Totally thinking about getting an enduro. Is it worth getting it if you ride 90% pavement ? Mikey is always eating your snacks… At least you saw the snake.
Ty! Unless it's uneven sidewalks or chunky asphalt, probably not. The good think about the hard stock tire is that it should last you quite a while. If anything, if you know anyone who plans to get one, try riding it to see if you even notice a difference before you buy one.
Hahaha! I just did my first tire change, too, as well as adding the lifesavers. All the videos I watched made it look so easy. I was sweating like a whore in church , haha. Literally had to get down to my boxers. A couple blisters on my thumbs and palms later tho, we cruisin

Felllow goofy foot unite!
does the GT still have that bricking issue with the battery? I really want to get the GT but want to have the ability to change the battery.
Unfortunately I have not heard of anybody making 3rd party batteries or capable of bypassing that "security" measure.
