    That loader mounted auger looks like it does a great job!

    That loader mounted auger looks way easier to use than a 3PH mounted one. I'm starting to think about one of those rear mounted auxiliary hydraulic pump units for the little Branson so I can look at things like this and a front mounted cutter.
    I used a product similar to Fast2K for my mailbox post recently, and I have to agree it was very nice to have my post set and done in 30 minutes. Don't know if I will love it so much if I have to dig that post out though.

    A few hundred more feet to go. When I finally break down and decide on a tractor, I'll need to get one of those augers in my life. Looks a lot nicer than the 3pt mounted one flopping around.

    If you add a little quick Crete to your concrete it also sets up in 20 minutes.
    But I am very interested in your front mounted auger! They told me that tractors do not have enough hydraulic flow rate to run one :( I am not sure how well it would work in rocky ground either but at least you have forward and backward rotation, hydraulic down pressure and much better visibility and control!
    I would really like to have one as I had to dig every post hole by hand and bar! It takes a lot longer to build but was still able to build 80’ of 3rail fence & paint it in two days. Not to bad for an old guy ;)

      New post treatments will not hold up to Quick Crete. It wicks water to the post causing them to rot off in a few years. This auger is made by IronCraft. It is specifically made for tractors' low flow. It will work with as little as 5gpm

    No staggering joints?

    • @TonysTractorAdventure
      @TonysTractorAdventure  2 місяці тому

      I get that a lot. The joints are much stronger than the boards themselves. If I did have livestock, I would worry about them breaking the boards before I worry about them breaking the joints. There's just better things to worry about.
