I been playing pup for 2 years and I have got everything done besides mythic weapon. Love your videos! I follow them and try and accomplish everything you do. Then my ls spams me to get them cait sith crowns (^^) keep up the great work!
I would love to see your gear (nvm I found your link) My puppet does nowhere near that much damage for weapon skills. I'm happy if he does 12k maybe if I get rid of my Tali'ah +2 set and trade up my Hepatizon Baghnakhs +1
Hi, my OD gear setups are typically always included in the video description and the differ depending on the Automaton used. The biggest contributor to WS damage for Valoredge with Bone Crusher is Xiucoatl followed by Double Attack procs, but the much cheaper Pitre Fists (Path C) would work well too.
Hey question: when using overdrive and you resummon pet after death... does overdrive still work? I've asked around and people are saying it does but I beg to differ. I just tried Odin E and you can see the difference using same maneuvers after using deus ex.
You're correct. The effect of Overdrive is lost if your Automaton dies at any point after its use. It's actually a buff that is applied to both you and the Automaton at the same time if you look closely at the animation.
Hi, I mentioned it in the video description. Basically when the Spitewarden spawned it already had some enmity on my Automaton due to Lilith, so I used Heady Artifice for Invincible to glue the SW to my pet.
I miss this game so much... but retail FFXI takes away from what made FFXI so enjoyable IMO. I hope the mobile remake version ( confirmed still in development a week ago ) isn't absurdly dumbed down and simplified too much. I know it won't be on the level of 2004 FFXI, but still.... Though that might be better than a micro transaction thievery that's to be expected... /sigh
@@TonyGunz916 Oh, sorry. I'm using the Su5 Xiucoatl with Kenkonken lockstyled. The Su4 is almost as good as the Su5 and should be sufficient for the Normal version of this fight, but probably not for Difficult or VD. As far as Kenkonken is concerned I only swap it in for Maneuvers to reduce burden. Other than that it's purely for melee PUP purposes, but not pet burn.
This is so cool! I'm a new player, RDM 19 or so and I'm planning on going PUP. Glad I found your channel!
Awesome work Aerix! I have been reading your posts on FFXIAH and helped me tons on playing pup.
Glad I could help!
@@rhayve1100 what difficulty is this ?

How are the graphics so good? I play on PC with windower and it doesn't look this good.
I'm curious as to how the puppet is auto attacking for 1200+.

Great video! Can you share your automaton build/attachments?
Hi, the attachments are shown at the start of the video at 0:06
Is this possible without Taeon? I ask because Skirmish stones have become very rare on the AH.
E can be done with ZERO pet damage taken gear (no taeon) as long as you use 1hr. Damage goes down without any Pet Double Attack augments though.
Hi Rhayve nice video am new to pup just wondering what type of augments do you have on your Taeon gear? Thanks
All are augmented with Pet: Accuracy+25/Double Attack+5%/Damage Taken-4%
Wow nice work! How did you get the add to not attacking you?

Do you use GearSwap?
its that easy?? u are master tho... that takes a lot of grinding

I thought it was cancelled
Are the hands lockstyle or is that what you’re using?
The hands and feet are both lockstyled. They're the "Composer's" gear that drop from Teles in Reisenjima.
Rhayve I meant the Mythic. I have the alluvian skirmish with really good augs. But I do I need mythic? Or SU5 to fight Lilith?
