I was able to beat all the VR Missions like two or three years ago on my PSVITA. The confidential was only a one time feature and was Hinting about what the new Metal Gear was gonna be in Metal Gear Solid 2 at the time.

Correct me if I’m wrong but in the original 1998 metal gear sold one - was there a way to unlock the ninja and play the actual game as ninja? I think it was something like you must complete the game 6 times or something I honestly can’t remember.
There are 2 games. The original 2 disc MGS And the integral:VR missions. The ninja is an unlockable in the VR mission game...which was sold separately in US but bundled in Japan.
