No removal required with ACDP
Can this year not be done by obd on im508?so even 2014 is a grey area regarding having to take the kvm out?I had it in my head 2015-18 were the kvm out ones.
I tried to program a keyless 2014 xf and it said key learn failed,just at the point the new key is in your hand to press unlock,someone said it might have been a glitch with the autel?As the Autel is usually good on jlr,it done a 2010 keyless xf fine with the older style keyless fob with chrome on both edges.
So in theory, if i went in OBD and locked the KVM i could remove it and unlock with ACDP and then programme a key on bench? Also, what does KVM stand for please? always great videos from you guys. Please make some more!
Correct. If it shows as locked through OBD, you can remove the KVM and unlock with ACDP and program a new key. Also KVM stands for Keyless Vehicle Module

What about emergency start if remote stop working?
