How do you go about deleting one of the first two keys that is greyed out in the key slot selection screen?
As far as I understand, only the first two keys can work as Comfort Access key?
Is this true. I added a 3rd key and only emergency start will work. No proximity or remote locking works
Only 2 keys can have comfort access. Delete old key off
Is there a reason you're not programming via OBD2 port? Is this process doing in on the bench safer? Great video and explanation.
In my experience doing the OBD2 wants you to downgrade and flash the CAS which can be great if you have an eeprom saved of the CAS but sometimes doesnt always return to normal CAS. Just safer. Less headache but more time
How do determine if it’s cash or not?
Mate I wanna ask before I forget. When you removed this car unit and on the Porsche Panamera the other day there was the BCM removed. Do you disconnect the battery first on either of these cars.....?
Yes we always recommend disconnecting the battery as it is good practice 👍🏻
awesome video, does comfort access work automatically once the new key is coded and activated?
Yes this should work once the key has been successfully programmed :)
