Teardown of Amazon Scribe (2022). I did not know that the e-paper display was fixed with surrounding snap structure and not with adhesive. Peeling off will just break the display.
Would you say the battery is replaceable? I mean, now that you see how it came apart, do you think you could get the battery swapped and get it put back together in working order?
The battery is easily replaceable. Unfortunately it does not look like replacement batteries are available for this device at this time. Unless you were to swap one from another unit.
Please don’t use this video as a how to take it apart. Terrible job. No need to heat the screen. Use a thin guitar pic to go around the edges to remove the frame.
Like for the sacrificed Kindle.

I could not read the battery. how many volts, amp hours, etc...
it says 3000mAh, 11.55Wh, 3.85V
