Really cool setup! I especially appreciate how you kept it lean and on mission. I know the temptation of always trying to build the one bag to rule them all, adding tarps and 550 cord, and MRE's to bags that started off being meant to do something more specific. So thanks for resisting that urge.
This is one of the best and most practical set up I've seen
And doesn’t look suspicious
You sold me on the unity tactical belt thing. I've been thinking about it for a few days now after I discovered it, now I'm definitely getting one
This is next level thinking, a 20 rd mag in the gun to make extraction faster and more reliable. It's likely the first few rounds are the most critical not the last 10 of a 30 round mag. A lot of good info here to digest. I sub'd!!
Makes anything from prone much more intuitive too.
Awesome kit. Well thought out. A place for everything and everything in its place
That is one of , if not the cleanest and simplest systems I've ever seen . I would just drop everything in the bottom only because I've trained my self to identify my gear by touch but , WOW I like your set up !
@@SurvivalDispatch what pistol brace is that? it looks like an sba3 but smaller?
that’s smart but also not as easy to find things especially if it slips to the bottom of your bag and u need it in a timely manner
This is probably the best setup I’ve seen. That pistol is 👌🏻
Best setup ever ! It seems to be made thinking about what and how we need to carry here in Chicago .
I’d like to see a video of how this kit fits into the rest of your system (edc, get home bag, vehicle, etc).
For the record, I never comment on UA-cam videos. But you just earned another subscriber. I’ve been looking for a video of this exact topic for days, and there really aren’t too many. Not only did yours nail it, but I almost feel like we’re kindred spirits… My set up is very similar. Vertex every day, sig rattler, folding brace, T-2, scalarworks mount, mod light plh v2, small spiritus chest rig, and even the same BFG med kit ( and backup secondary on the chest rig). Great video! To be honest, I’m subscribing solely on the fact that you to tuck the rubber up in your SBA3 to make it usable.
Keep up the good work.
For the record I never comment... 😂😂😂😂 Gtfo with this comment lol
Excellent solution and presentation!
This is awesome! Reminds me a lot of my trex-arms ready rig setup
Backdrop is dope...digging the pdx too.
Great setup!! You’ve given me a couple ideas for another bag thanks bro
Nice rig, definitely like this idea.
Excellent choices for a SHTF moment. Thank You!
Really like that belt system very cool idea
I love the clutch as a simple waist belt set for engaging the enemy or that person trying to harm others. Has all the necessities to help you get into the fight quickly. Love the set up. Firearm is a bit out of my price point tho lol.
Nice setup. It gave me some great ideas. Good video.
GREAT INFORMATION
THANKS for sharing
Good for you fella, cover the bases.
Thanks for the video.
Egg Drop Soup is a healthy Chinese broth based hot soup made with eggs, chicken broth, corn starch, and green onions. If you’re looking for a healthy, warm, easy egg drop soup, this recipe is for you and only takes 10 minutes! It’s also keto-friendly made with simple ingredients.
I built a backpack gun almost exactly like that in 300BO. My barrel is a 7.5in. I also ordered the Reptillia grip, but I didn't like it until I stippled it with a solder gun.
SHTF Hunter I know, at first I wasn’t into the slickness, I don’t know why they wouldn’t texture the sides. But I stippled mine and now it’s my favorite grip
Nice set up !!
Very nice!
Love it.. Simple and efficient set up.. Only item I think is missing... Knife (sort of).
Another great video Jon! All of you guys at Survival Dispatch give me Ideas and equipment suggestions that are practical.
I have seen a lot of these type of videos and I am rarely impressed.
This one impressed me. Ne items, different ideas, etc.
Oh cool more stuff I need thanks
A lot of people are interested in this type of thing for AR pistols and other short setups. Love to seeing this content and the reasons why you chose the equipment you did. What bag is that?
Great video
SUPER NICE
Nice setup!
Modest and efficient
I've done a lot of thinking (and a lot of buying and using) regarding carrying stuff in a backpack. When it comes to hearing protection I think I'm just going to tape a pair of foamies to whatever I throw in the bag. I appreciate the medical-first philosophy here though. I do the same with a IIIa plate in the backpack. Excellent choices here, and a great video.
MOE grips have a cavity and a cap at the bottom I keep my ear plugs in my grip of all my arms builds
AR builds*
That’s a nice setup
That belt system is something I would like to have
Nice set up
Thinking bout going with a Sub carbine 9mm foldable of collapsible stock soon
Great video.... I’ll be going through the rest. Had to subscribe
Great set up. Food for thought.
Glad to see you have a second tourniquet. I'd like to recommend that you swap one cat for a rat. Cat doesn't work on others smaller appendages, god forbid.
Thanks for the video.
Very nice...
I like it !!!
I’ve got a Kel Tek 2000 in my backpack. 9mm is cheap and plentiful. Subsonic ballistics are on par with 300 blk. The can is in a separate pouch in the bag.
I have the same in a swiss tec backpack. Also a few more things.
My how things have changed! 9mm is now hard to find and expensive.
Boy this aged like fucking milk.
Thanks interesting
That wolf grey pack screams tacticool!
Awesome👍🤙.Stay safe and God Bless🙏🙏🙏....
I’ve also got the Otto noise barriers. I got custom molded tips put on mine from an audiologist. Got the idea from lucky gunner.
Looked them up on Amazon and saw the price. Are they REALLY worth the price and are those the only ear pro you have?
@@MrOhman86 I also have the Howard leight over the ear. I don’t have any experience with other electronic ear buds. Ottos are noticeably better and far more convenient but I wouldn’t have much need for them if my cheek weld didn’t effect the ear muff style. Honestly not worth it if you don’t need them.
love it but what parts do i need for the build
Gucci boi ! If u had some over ear electronic pro u might actually be able to get them on vs the in ear. How many bags does your loadout consist for a road trip? Thanks enjoy the channel.
Dude love the bag setup I'm running a 5" 300 BO w/troy tomahawk stock so similar to yours total rifle length is like 17.8" collapsed and it can fire collapsed because it's a pdw stock. Anyway I see you're running lancer mags I've always done magpul but I bought a lancer for the weight savings because they are lighter and slimmer and F me 5 ways to sunday this lancer is a total beyatt$% to seat on closed bolt. Are they all like that? I don't want to buy more if so. Also running a micro trauma kit now in bag and a T-Rex ready rig chest carrier w/a dark angel pocket trauma kit along with a Yaesu FT3D Radio unlocked.
I like what you are doing and the mindset you have. Doesn't the folder make the brace past the what 13.5 inches for the pull? Very cool. No room in my bag I just carry MRE's and medical stuff.
I know I’m late to the party on this one, but I’m putting together a bag/night stand gun too, and I was curious about your decision to not equip BUIS? Id love to hear your thoughts and opinions on that. I’m torn as well. Great video and beautiful, beautiful piece 🇺🇸
Can you explain how the law folder works with the maxim upper? Doesn’t their mini buffer drop into the bcg and then the buffer spring into the stock/brace? Just wanted know how this works. Nice set up btw
Great video! Who makes that med kit?
Love that rifle Jon!
Edit: what's the weight of that bag? I'd like to do something similar.
nice set up, but what kind of watch is that? it looks really nice! thnx
Would be interested to see a video of depoly the bag.
Going from ziped to rifle out belt on...ect.
From standing with backpack on... I'm assuming U would swing the bag around to front chest...
From crouching behind cove /behind car door .... Bag on ground.
And possibly in the prone position on ground with bag Infront acting as cover.
Just out of interest....... Cant carry something like that Australia.
I have also always wondered if you it would be possible to make a tactical plate carrier backpack.
SBR/pistol in a backpack the zip/Velcro under do and raps around the body to become a vest....if that makes sense.
I don’t see the velcro lasting if used daily
Nice, how about another type of firearm like a semi auto shotgun/pump action shotgun & shells+a knife/folder/fixed blade.
What Premier body armor panel is that? Just bought the bag and definitely want that option
Jon, is it difficult to put the folding stock on the maximum 300?
Could you tell me which premiere body armor model fits the LBT bag? I have the same one. Thanks!
I just bought one for my bag and the 9.5x16.75 variants fit perfectly in the laptop sleeve
There are 3 options available in that size and any will work. If you google around you can usually find a 10% off code.
A sling for the pdw?
Are you running maxim bcg or standard ar bcg and what buffer weight? I'm building the same setup. Thanks
What mag carriers etc did you use for the Clutch belt? Did you use the Velcro that comes with it to fasten them ?
I like this but with a trex ready rig
Do you have a video on just the 300 build would like to see more on it alone.
With a barrel that short the 300 is about worthless for what it is, might as well build a 10mm pistol build instead
I pretty much build an identical pistol with a vseven 6.5 inch barrel. Shot a 1.5 inch group at 100 yards using 125gr ammo. I know 110gr travels at just over 2000 fps so I’m sure it’s close with the 125gr. That much firepower in such a small package is far from worthless.
will it reach out to a 100 yrd in 300 blackout in a 5.6 in barrel .
Where can I buy those items in your setup including gun? I need to use gun for self protection.
Back to school.
Great video! Any issues with the PDX 300BO upper? I was thinking of getting one myself. There is not really anyone out there doing a review on it, except shot show Demos. Thanks!
Mines brown, running a folder as well, on a noveske gen2 lower, rattle canned brown as well. Been running all year during classes, great gun 😍
4L3 G3B - What caliber are you running it in!? Do you have a pic of your pdx? Would be cool to see. Thanks again
What size specifically is the body armor
Do you think an MK18 (10.3") w/ law folder would fit into this pack?
Good setup Jon, but I would add at least a 2nd TQ, I'm sure there is enough room in the water bottle pouch
Is a DD MK 18 a good bag gun?
Yeah my DD MK18 takes a 32 inch bag...it's a bit much. I'm getting a maxum PDX...it should fit a 24 inch bag 🎒
5 1/2 INCH 300 BLK OUT FOLDABLE SHORT BARREL. VERY UNIQUE
Back to school commercial:
It seems like all that stuff could and would fall out of the belt super easily.
What kind of brace is that? And also what height is your T2 set up on with that Scalarworks mount?
also wondering what brace that is - it looks like an sba3 but smaller, but I can't find anything like it online
The only thing I struggle to understand is 300blkt in a battle weapon. I agree 300 blkt is superior to 556, but, To me the most common calibers will be necessary if you don't have immediate availability of large quantities of ammo. Most, I don't think carry 1,000 rds everywhere they go. 556/223 9mm, 22 are going to be the most prevalent in a true shtf. As awesome as 300 is its nogo if you can't feed it
Great video. I carry a LRAC F1 rocket launcher in my backpack. Its not quite as stealthy as yours but I feel more confident going to the mall with a freaking bazooka at the ready.
"Lance Rocket anti-Char." A man of fine taste, I see.
Nice at least everyone’s knows where you keep your stuff
You don't use the timbits with the slingshot I hope.
Have you considered adding a bright reflective vest that says SECURITY or something similar so law enforcement doesn't mistake you for a threat?
lol best comment hands down
@@markwayne7580 if I were a cop and came across an active shooter scene and saw some dude with a backpack strapped to the front of his chest, battle belt, rockin' an AR I'd probably shit myself and then shoot the guy. A neon vest saying SECURITY at least would make an officer hesitate for a second.
@@Beaverjon05 interesting idea
I've thought of it, but it seems kind of suspect. It might make a twitchy cop suspicious. It sounds like something an active shooter might do (and a few have worn similar disguises).
@@ericferguson9989 totally up to you but if I were a cop coming upon an active shooter situation I'd hesitate more if I saw a guy with a bright orange vest saying SECURITY and carrying a gun than just a guy carrying a gun.
Woooooooooooooo
Thanks, now I can go teach it to my math classes :D
Not to detract from your vid, but instead I would replace most of your 30 Rd. mags w/1 or 2 Surefire 60 Rd. mags. It would reduce the # of to 1 or 2 of higher cap. At least that is what I would do.
For the bullet proof plate I would attach a rope around the top so if I had to I can throw it over my neck and put it inside my shirt so I didn’t have to mess with a backpack in the front
👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
Where do you live that you have to carry all of that, south central LA? You're looking for a gun fight in your gated community. I wish you was there with us (173rd IBCT (A) with all that crap! #Everybody wants to be hard until hard shit needs to be done!
Nice rig, but you did drop quite a bit of money on it. I have two concerns. One is, that a lot of money in that bag, most of us don't have... 2Kish, maybe a little more, for a truck gun. Can we see one that isn't quite so high end? The second is, you've got this bag and a get home bag (and maybe a third, or did I miss hear that?). I've never understood the plan for making both bags work at the same time, and as such I would have liked have seen some discussion of the actual, practical usage of this item and the rest of your system.
Don't get me wrong, and show and tell is fun, but how does it all work together- not the make it go bang part, but a discussion of the actual plan (sterilized of course) involving this PDW, the Clutch belt, and at least one other bag. That part isn't clear.
How much would a firearm like that cost to build or buy?
Way more than the average joe would care to spend.
$1k - $10k+ depending what kind, what optics and everything. I wouldn’t spend over $5k for a gun but it’s worth it cause one day it can save your life
You leave that in your truck you’re nuts
Hate to sound dumb but is this an sbr, or a pistol? asking as the stock on it, i assume sbr but wasn't sure.
It’s a pistol because the “stock” is classified as a pistol brace. The law is hella stupid
How many gun fights have you been in Jon?
Fantasy review. Have your bag needs changed?
Nice setup, unfortunately the recent ATF brace rule makes pistols with a tactical folder an SBR requiring it to be tax stamped and registered.
For real?
@@ChooChoo_4u Yes, i urge all Braced pistol owners to get familiar with the latest ATF brace ruling. You can register as a SBR before May 31st and the $200 will be waived under amnesty, remove the brace to stay compliant as a pistol. No rearward attached device not required for operaton allowed.
Here is the ATF/FFL Q&A seminar.
