Just got the email about the new editions and I was like, well dang, I haven’t seen the LLOD video on these yet. 10 minutes later, you deliver. I have three of the Gamut 2.0 and love them.
Solid review, dude. Thank you. As a recent arrival to the Vertx fan club, this video was precisely what I needed, to sort out which of their bags will be replacing my current EDC, GHB and VEK systems. Cheers - and keep up the good work! 🍻
'foldi boi' is the new term of the week. I need that seat back foldi boi x2. Vertx is freakin awesome. And, nice sticky holster. I'll be putting an order in.
I was expecting a gift shopping video. I've got 6 Vertx bags. Maybe I need to get rid of a couple and try a couple newer ones. Definitely will order a couple stackables with your code though. Seems like they'd be a good fit for my decked drawers. Great video.
@@LastLineOfDefense How about getting the Ready Pack, Transit sling and Gamut with intergrated LLOD holsters. Would also love to see a black and orange back option.
I got the overlander. You can definitely use it as an edc bag also. But it definitely is more of a hiking/trekking type of backpack. I like that it has 45l of space. You can use it as luggage also lol. And its just a little bigger than the gamut. So its very versatile.
Ordered the larger yellow pack, my grand daughter refers to it as urine colored hahaha, also the smaller maroon backpack, and the navigator we got in all colors, I got black and green, my wife got the same, for our daughters and sons for christmas we got got assorted colors. Paired with the fanny packs, the 2 new larger bags, perfect "tourist" combo and blends in well together! My nephew whos wheelchair bound loved his tourist and essential bags, but loathed the patch loop area on exterior. He has had the fanny in all 3 colors for a few months since they dropped, but is excited about the navigator! Great video man!
Develop the Ardennes Holiday pack (or similar). Make it a clamshell opening with more organization in the top dump pouch and its a win. Less than 30 liters is a kids backpack, lol. The Ready Pack and Gamut- still too narrow wont stand up and cant fit anything much wider than a laptop or notebook.
I love your videos!!! What’s a good day pack for and my 3 year old? Want a cooler type bag but still a dry area for his toys and small things for him and I. I like the pelican day pack. Thoughts?
Winter boots, my fellow, Colorado brother ! hard-core all day winter boots, Gore-Tex, and insulated. I still have some garmont boots but they are almost dead. hard to find a good boot .
The armour feature is so awesome. Lol captain America joke had me laughing but nowadays with all these horrible school shootings it seems like a great idea for students and teachers to have a bag like this. When I have a kid in the next few years these are the bags I’m getting for my kid and just ordered one for my wife who is a teacher. Obviously won’t stop every bullet protecting your whole body but you never know, having a bag to protecting your upper body and head is a huge huge huge plus.
Would you be willing to share what shirt it is you're wearing? I had one like that a while ago and loved it but it's gotten worn out and the one you're wearing looks very similar. Thanks!
How bout a true truck tote bag that fits under the whole back seat and holds emergency gear, rifle or rifles chest rigs that type of stuff that’s more discreet than the one that goes behind the seat 31:53
Please make a LLOD Gamut! I have bought every bag out there and I always go back to my Gamut within a month. Side note 📝 I know you are insanely busy with the house build, but PLEASE don’t forget to do your Xmas 🎁 video! The year will NOT be complete without that vid!
My code gets auto updated to the largest discount available at any given time. Some items during that sale though were only 15% off, like the gen3 bags.
Mike, I enjoy all your videos. Love your gear vids. Could you incorporate the bags capacities? 24L, 38L? Just for some more reference. Keep the videos coming. Maybe you could develop a LLOD Gamut. (Bring back the multi cam black)
Mike, I'd like to see a truck/car organizer. Something very rugged and durable. I know Mike Glover has one but it's more of an emergency medical style.
Please develop this system -Ruck for large base camp/shelter items -Attachable pack that can function as a day pack/EDC pack and can maybe also integrate into plate carriers. This is all I want in life. Would benefit prepared civilians a TON. I like to keep my BOB in my vehicle with all my shelter items, but a lot of important equipment is in my EDC bag that I don’t want to leave behind. If I have to leave my vehicle, which bag do I take? I don’t want to sit there loading up items from my EDC to my BOB, or buying some of the same items twice (once for each bag) and then leaving one or the other. They should be able to combine to be able to be carried together and reduce redundancy.
Bro you should work on a edc bag for parents that can hold baby/kid stuff and the parents gear. I have been looking for one and haven’t found one I like yet.
Is the ready pack sturdy enough and durable enough for some rucking? Usually ruck somewhere from 20lbs to 50lbs depending on the day. I like GoRuck. But they are expensive and not as edc useful.
I would love to see you do some product development! Develop what you are interested in. The best designs seem to come from something someone is passionate about.
So glad you did this video. I'm in the market for new bags. I'm considering the commuter 2.0, or ready pack. I also work security so I'm looking for good word bag. Do you have any suggestions?
Just wondering but would you ever be willing to sell your hard khaki 2.0 if you still have it? As soon as I was able to buy one they stopped making that color way haha
Must be nice to fit the Nalgene. Just went with the Ready Pack 3.0 and you’re lucky to get a freaking coke can in those side pouches. It’s my third Vertx and likely my last unless they change that design back to the 2.0 size. I’d gladly pay them $5 more for 2” of additional fabric and 3” of cordage.
The gen 3 bags are awful. They look like Vertex dug out all the bad ideas they had abandoned in the past and put them all into a a next generation of bags. I'll definitely stick with my 2.0 packs.
Beard coming in great! Specially the mustache! Keep it up!

Yeah I need to do that gift video asap!
These reviews are so helpful! Thank you Mike!
My pleasure!

Thanks for these videos! It is very helpful to see everything side by side at the same time.
I think the foldi boi is actually a mini Fix? Sick AF! Great vids brother
I love my Baby Yoda gamut! The captain America shield use was awesome:) An LLOD ready pack I would wait for.
Beard looking good, keep going!
Waiting for the black fanny pack to come back in stock! Great content as always.
And I agree 100% Delta stretch best pants ever made.
Which vertex bags can stand upright? As a trucker this us important

Great video man!
**Mike puts out a video reviewing new bags**
**Mike also mentions that he wants to do a signature bag in the future**
...so should I just wait or...
Haha, that bag, if it ever happened is at least a few years out...
This aged well 😂 . Looking forward to more vertx products from you
Goruck GR2 is what I went with the other week, I absolutely love that bag!
Can you explain more on this? I'm debating gr2 vs basecamp

Couldn't find the Basecamp or the Overlander. Can't wait for it to drop. I will make sure to use your code also
thanks Mike!
Winter boots, my fellow, Colorado brother ! hard-core all day winter boots, Gore-Tex, and insulated. I still have some garmont boots but they are almost dead. hard to find a good boot .
How does the new ready pack compare to the old? Anything worth waiting for or size changes?
Im just here to check beard progress (not really but) it is coming along nicely

Already have three Vertx bags definitely need more!
Thanks for the video Mike!
Have their: commuter sling, EDC ready, and transit bags. Love each one! Wish I could find the SOCP Fanny pack. No one has it in stock.
I am a Vertx pants fan because of your videos! Vertx would definitely benefit from you being on their design team.
I went with a Highland tactical Roger backpack. I like it. It does good.
what does the material look shiny compared to the older bags?
Would you be willing to share what shirt it is you're wearing? I had one like that a while ago and loved it but it's gotten worn out and the one you're wearing looks very similar. Thanks!
Perfect timing. In the process of updating BP. Looking at 511 and Vertex bags. Like the nontactical look. Thoughts? Thank you.
You’d be better off finding last year’s Vertx bags over these. This new line is a step backwards.
Will you be doing a more detailed review on the other bags like the new basecamp and overlander
How bout a true truck tote bag that fits under the whole back seat and holds emergency gear, rifle or rifles chest rigs that type of stuff that’s more discreet than the one that goes behind the seat 31:53
Can you please do a quick solo video for the Overlander
*The rest of the world using the metric system*
Americans - “It’s about a Deagle’s width wide.”
You ever use any padded inserts in the these for carrying camera and lens gear?
I was looking for this video as soon as the VertX email dropped. In your opinion, what’s best for a gym bag: the new ready pack 3.0 or navigator?
Depends what you're taking to the gym - Navigator is definitely smaller.
@@LastLineOfDefense Thanks for the info!
Do you have any gamuts or ready packs you’re selling or giving away lol😂
Dude beards looking great so far
Please make a LLOD Gamut! I have bought every bag out there and I always go back to my Gamut within a month.
Side note 📝 I know you are insanely busy with the house build, but PLEASE don’t forget to do your Xmas 🎁 video! The year will NOT be complete without that vid!
When I used code lastline recently when they had black Friday sale, I only recieved 15% discount. While they offered bigger discount right on sight
My code gets auto updated to the largest discount available at any given time. Some items during that sale though were only 15% off, like the gen3 bags.

Haven't seen a video review for the base camp or the
Delta stretch pants and the light weight Delta stretch are so awesome it’s all I wear
Beards looking good man, hang in there!
Please develop this system
-Ruck for large base camp/shelter items
-Attachable pack that can function as a day pack/EDC pack and can maybe also integrate into plate carriers.

The beard is coming in. Maybe it’ll get fuller in the next month
I think it's a lost cause, but I'll see it through

Dont think iv ever been this early lol. Good vid and very informative. Keep it up
I appreciate it!
i like the wedding crashers ref for stage 5 clinger
Can you make a video of the overlander sir 🙏 please
I would love to see you do some product development! Develop what you are interested in. The best designs seem to come from something someone is passionate about.
I hope the Gamut laptop compartment is more secure and snug than before. Had to return the bag since my Lenovo P15 would just flop around
The green and black Fanny pack are my favorite..
Stache and beard looking good
So glad you did this video. I'm in the market for new bags. I'm considering the commuter 2.0, or ready pack. I also work security so I'm looking for good word bag. Do you have any suggestions?
The beard is coming in strong! It's really combating the baby face to give you a few years and maturity to your look.
10:55 why did my tactigami pouch only come with 2 strips across the back vs the en hook back like on yours? which is the current version?
Great review Mike, thanks
Does that navigator bag hold a 13 in Mac book? Great video!
are you gonna start making holsters for the sig x macro!!?? I need one
Just wondering but would you ever be willing to sell your hard khaki 2.0 if you still have it? As soon as I was able to buy one they stopped making that color way haha
Really curious, would the ReadyPack fit a larger Nalgene?
Nice beard Mike!
can u tell me the weight of the new readypack???
Gamut 3.0 not listed in the site yet. Guessing they didn’t drop yet?
Would love to see the new transit bag.
Is the new edc ready pack lighter?
Would love to see the retention velcro used in the rifle bag sold separately.
What's the capacity of the Base Camp? It's not on the Vertx site yet!
dude, where's the transit sling 3.0 and commuter 3.0 ? no one has reviews for those bags at all.
You should get into mystery ranch bags! They’re extremely high quality and great edc bags.
I have a couple actually - what’s your favorite model for EDC?
You’re really building the suspense for us Shane… I’m also curious lol
Must be nice to fit the Nalgene. Just went with the Ready Pack 3.0 and you’re lucky to get a freaking coke can in those side pouches. Yo..beards coming in. Keep in going
Can you tell them to make the zipper fly longer on their pants? 😅 CCW + short zipper is no bueno
I’d definitely be interested in a EDC backpack
What size is the one at 29:15?
What is it made of?
What version of the tan Gamut was that?
Gamut 3.0 yellow/tan
I need a sick hip pack
Awesome, pretty cool 😎 👌 👍
Make a wheeled duffle that does not suck
Mike please make a bag
Mike I have been well
Plot twist. He only has 1 pair of pants 😂
Tundra cabin accessories
Covert except for the big “VERTX” text on the shoulder strap 🙄
Should I work with VERTX?
Yes!
Thankfully this video is in the bag.
(I made a funny)
Now, on to something cool.........
AHHHHHHHHHHHH BAG LYFE
oh yeeeaaahhhh
Sweet!
Aloha from Honolulu
Yay First
Cheeeee!
You should do a giveaway. 🤔since you have so many.
I do every month on Patreon
That beard is in some serious need of work 😂
Eh I don't think the beard itself needs work - the skin underneath it just needs more hair follicles.
The gen 3 bags are awful. They look like Vertex dug out all the bad ideas they had abandoned in the past and put them all into a a next generation of bags. I'll definitely stick with my 2.0 packs.
Keep the beard going. I would say at least 3 month’s minimum. You have a strong stache. I’m eager to see where your beard is in a few months.
