It ain't Zeppelin, but Coverdale does a respectable job.
Coverdale Page & Jones tenía que haber sido
David Coverplant is a Better Plant than Plant! Thumbs up!
I like Coverdale's voice, it's quite healthy, as I can hear. But I have a problem with him on this song: he cannot really sing those Arabic influences... Plant could do that in 2007; it was hard for him to scream, but that wail from "where I've beeeen" made me shiver. For me, the Arabic swirls do the whole trick with this song.
WoW another Awesome song from Zep and Coverdale Nailed it - man my Singing Heroes have always been Plant since 69 with the first Zeppelin Album and Coverdale with Whitesnake i am torn between the 2 of them always Loved Plant and always loved Coverdale but it has to be David Ah yea Ah yea Ah Ah Ah AH ooooooo BABY ooooo Baby Ah Ah Ah YEA
They were both great in their prime. The only thing that Robert and David have in common is Jimmy.
@DavidKinner Ian Gillan wasn't the original singer of Deep Purple. But I guess you too forgot Rod Evans. ; )
David Coverdale - - who would have refused this gig???? Impossible to better - he did his absolute best - which was - let's face it - pretty near!!! But ROBERT PLANT's vocals with Led Zep can never be bettered Love Peace Light x
🤩2 Different Projects= 🍎's to 🍊's
"almost"?! Man, are you really deaf or are you a fan (which is basically the same thing)? What's the problem with singing better than a voiceless Plant? What Coverday perfectly demonstrated.
Coverdale sings. Robert Plant tells a story.
Yep. David can sing some 'Zep songs, but he could never write one. And Plant could never sing "Burn" in a million years. Robert did cover David's "Shake My Tree", it's here on youtube with Page/Plant on the '95 tour. David coverd Robert better than Robert covered David...
Plant covering David in 1995 opening night I Pensacola. I was there: ua-cam.com/video/Ni-Ts_SR3qA/v-deo.html

Agree. If there is no singing voice, all that remains is to tell
