    To add to this, which is pretty awesome -- Shotguns proc RLF on a per shell basis. For this reason, you can often reach max stacks on colossi with a single smithereens shot to their knee, then swap off to your sniper right after.

    I think it's intended to work this way since there are some mods that specify that they fall off if you switch weapons

      I've tried testing this with payout, spray n pray & strengthen first shot which does'nt have specifications on the buff disappearing after switching weapons. You lose the buff when switching weapons for these 3 mods. So the mod descriptions are not entirely accurate at all times according to my testing unfortunately :/.
      Although its kind of weird that the general rounds version of payout/spray n pray which is firing fiesta, works when you switch weapons. So right now I am 50/50 on whether if this buff retention mechanic while switching weapons is intentional.

    Surprised i never thought of this interaction i knew every other one in game but this one😂 good looks here with the video the other ones that work is firing fiesta, spray and pray, defense master.
    This is going to create a meta of having a very accurate dps gun to build real life fighter while pairing it with a heavy rounds weapon to really amplify that dps output from the real life fighter buff, example being running real life fighter then running strengthen first shot or weak point expansion like you said in the video. This is where pistols could become more meta too, as they are very accurate, quick weapon change speed, so they could make good support weapons where they are simply stack builders. Gonna do some testing because with this i could push elemental proc builds to higher damage numbers

      also this mechanic has been working like this since the game first released, example being firing fiesta and i tested all of these modules the first week except for real life fighter ironically

      I was playing around with mods in the lab and suddenly found out this interaction. Initially I strongly thought it was a bug as the amount of damage you get from stacking Weak point expansion & Real Life Fighter is big. I tried looking everywhere to see if anyone was sharing this mechanic around but could’nt find any information on it, which further convinced me on it being a bug.
      However I dug further by trying to use it in a colossus battle and found out that it was actually pretty hard to maintain 10x real life fighter stacks thus it was’nt really gamebreaking and you could also use this 2 ultimate mods in one gun mechanic with several other mods as well which you mentioned.
      The most consistent and easiest method to keeping 10x real life fighter stacks would be to probably use scout rifles due to how easy it is to hit weakpoints with them.
      My aim probably sucks as well so yea.

      @@DylanBuffermanI think this is going to create a meta and the best non gimmicky way to use it is by having a proper build in which your main weapon will build real life fighter anyways, and your heavy rounds you build as usual. I just realized i’ve been indirectly doing this already since i run a secret garden with RLF and a rocket launcher with Dopaminergic Activate, which is why sometimes my elemental procs come out to 750k per tic. You can even add another weapon to the mix to get the most out of your shot, example being Build 10 RLF stacks, run a nazeistra built with max weapon change speed and put payout on it, then switch to the sniper, allowing at least 1 shot of full RLF stacks, -30% defense debuff, and not consuming any ammo, same thing can be done with a shotgun instead of a sniper

      @@Vaisukin Putting payout really helps with the issue of ammo shortage for high power rounds definitely. Gameplay wise you would need some micromanagement but its kinda more fun when you introduce mechanics like these xD.
      EDIT: Just tried payout & spray n pray. The buff disappears after you switch weapons. The only one mod you can utilize where you retain the buff is firing fiesta....now I'm 50/50 on whether if this buff retention mechanic while switching weapons is intentional

      @@DylanBufferman it is still intentional and let me explain why i’m so certain it’s intentional.
      When the game first came out, one of the modules they gave you from a quest was firing fiesta, which seemed odd but it’s because they wanted people to test it out.
      The strengthen first shot bug has lots of people questioning what’s a bug and what’s not, but the fact that they said they extensively tested it and it still increases damage of rocket launchers despite being firearm attack, points towards the purposeful intention.
      They want weapon change speed and reload speed to be a possible build choice in game which is why they made firing fiesta work with this, but not spray and pray, as it would make reload builds lose less value than they already have, it’s to better broaden diversity, for example for firing fiesta i run a final masterpiece with weapon change speed, reload modules, and a gold roll in weapon change speed also to make it a perfect stat stick for firing fiesta, along with also switching it out with brisk walk sometimes too.
      This is also similar to how many people thought elemental damage not scaling with weak points was a bug, but it was intentional as the devs wanted to add build diversity, as if it did then all builds would like even more the same since building elemental damage weak point damage and crit damage would be Best in slot everytime, but now you can choose crit damage and weak point damage, or crit damage and elemental damage, since it scales
      off of crit damage too, just not weak point.
      Sounds like i was rambling but basically the devs are aware of lots builds and mechanics in the game, They would have patched it by now since they 100% know of all these interactions, rather a buff transfers when switching to another weapon or not is 100% hand picked for each module by the devs

    use shotgun to stack RLF 1 shot = 10 stack cuz 1 shot = 10 pallet
    downside is the pallet spread. works really well with gluttony and devourer

      this is too gimmicky and impractical as you would have to be too close, and if you are that close you would be doing more damage building a fully maxed shotgun anyways. You could just build RLF on a assault rifle or even the python, as the python can get to 100% accuracy with just a hawkeye, even if you have real life fighter and have aiming on the build
