- Sup peeps! I have finished the thundercage build and it is lethal! I managed to achieve high crit damage consistently, and insane damage from the lightning explosions!

Unrelated but I hope they add different themed rooms for each colossi fight, like a volcano room for pyromancer for example
Why not just fight them they are basically in the same area and you don't lose or use anything to fight them
2 billion damage against enemies that have little health. Definitely not 2 billion on hard bosses.

Might wanna switch chill enhancement with electric enhancement , it's the only status effect that actually effects the enemies defense .

I just question why people want to LOCK you into an element. Until they make the elemental mods a universal polarity, you will have to shuffle your mods IF you socket every slot.
FUN FACT. Use Electric Enhancement to boost the Thundercage Unique Effect IF you must socket every slot. Personally I'd leave one slot open for the elemental mod.
close to mine... just one thought: one less point in fire rate mod gives you the freedom to not socket the ele dmg and change it out depending what area ur in

Thing is that 2 Billion is done to the lower tier enemy.
indeed if you use same build and set mobs to lvl 100.. alot less big numbers.
incorrect, the enemies here are set to 100 in the lab.

For a Bunny build, would you consider swapping out Concentrate Support Ammo here for Electric Conductor?
I imagine with Lightning Emission/High Voltage constantly ticking on a boss, proccing Electrocution, it will give us a +30% ATK on hit and it'd be a hidden DPS increase just like adding an elemental mod would.

Firing fiesta better tbh
The only mod that varies on this build from some others is "Focus Fire". In place of focus fire, some are running Sharp Precision Shot (ew), Slow Art, and can't remember the other. Element typically swapped around as needed, if not exclusively running Toxic (only element that stacks). Otherwise, they're all the same cookie cutter and do the same DMG output.

If you think you have some magical build that's better than everyone else's, I'll tell you you're full of it. Rather than popping in and out of comments talking trash to people (btw, we can see your comment history, and you're definitely a troll), post the video of your special build that's so much better - which it's not, cuz you said 590k DPS, which is typical paper stats. I think mine was 612k, but can't remember without reinstalling that terrible game.
You should try it on the special op missions , I forget the zone name so forgive me but it's the special ops where the area has the poison Rivers. Me and a teammate went and activated all three spawn points and that was crazy. I'm curious as to how that would clear that nightmare out
Yeah the statistics available in the game are amazing. You can basically be a game tester lol. The customization is simply ridiculous, and the Descendant variety is a real testament to creativity, systems design, and Unreal Engine 5!

Very interesting build but imo it only works when enemies group up and bosses almost never group up
Thundercage swiss army knife, enduring legacy for bosses tho ,it increases the element attack

wow a creator that finally doesn't just look at the dps number. just look at division.
Swap focus fire and fire rate concentration for their blue equivalents, swap insight focus for edging shot, swap support ammo for real life fighter. Your eyes will be open.

I see A LOT of conflicting info on crit rate/dmg vs. weak point dmg. I'd like to see someone clarify the build difference and which is best for farming vs. bosses. Great video, thank you!
Crit is a bonus that’s applied, regardless of where you hit the enemy. Weak point is a multiplier that scales if you’re hitting specifically that area, and since they’re separate, they can stack.
@@alphamindtactics It looks like crit chance is specific to the base level of the weapon, whereas WP is not. Is that correct?
@@Chugg85 I haven’t looked at weapon levels in a while because they’re all 100 once you finish the story, but WP varies by weapon.

Oof, that chain reaction damage scaling really looks like a bug...I've been wondering why I might pump 3-4 bullets into one mob, then the aoe takes out everything else in one hit. Not going to complain, I'll definitely take it, but really doesn't seem like intended behavior.

Weak point damage > element, especially for f2p. You can virtually throw any 10 mods on this thing and kill adds that have 50k life.
Build is nearly salvageable, but no place for firing fiesta, too many almandine's. Insight focus, focus fire, and chill enhancement need to go. Have aiming for focus fire, concentration support ammo for chill, and firing fiesta for insite focus. Best? Maybe not, but better for sure.
Would you use this exact build for ultimate bunny or change some things?
The way this gun is built you could you it with any descendant.
@worthyprince Very nice build, tho i wud maybe leave the chill enhancement socket empty and level up all 4 elements to 15 points cost since you have 7 points left to match all bosses, and maybe put the blue one "expand weapon charge" instead of the purple one for those +19% magazine cuz i think it would increase ur damage output in the end more than 6.5% crit dmg, idk
Is that concentrate support ammo really better than expand weapon charge. You get way more ammo from the latter one, and 6.5% crit damage modifier doesn't really make sense to me that it would end up being better overall.
I have exactly the same build on my thunder cage i just have reload concentrate and for willpower I have weak point no focus fire
Weak point increases the headshot damage which means your crits on heatshots make a larger explosion.
Just remember you need 10 catalysts or so to make this build, so that makes it really 'viable' ..
Well the title is the ultimate thundercage not budget friendly thundercage
I was just reading the 1.05 patch notes - it looks like the compounding explosion damage was a bug. It was only ever supposed to do 1.33x weapon damage to any and all enemies hit, rather than calculating the next enemy hit as 1.33x the previous enemy hit. Goodbye multiple billion damage explosions.

I`m with 595 510 DPS ,same crit chance, same crit damage,better reload time, and much more rounds (new test build).
I'm normal with 553,071 DPS (my main build, with an even higher crit chance).
But i don't even do millions of damage( against mobs or bosses)! :)
Must farm more catalysts. I don't recall seeing that particular location in any mission.
Would you swap out the elemental enhancement based on the enemies you're fighting? Or is that not really worth while?
I copied a similar build got to 210crit damage I'll have a peak tonight to see what you did different. Tbh I hope no more slot farming would be needed as that fries my brain XD

Honestly I didn't know the weapon stacked in that way! I suppose my ideas were all correct, I was just underestimating the magnitude of the changes logarithmically

you need to focus on weak point and crit. dps vs colossus its useless and will just push colossus to go immune you need to hit those weak points to break parts. and unshielded him

Just curious why you settled for 20 or 30k more damage when the weak point damage would double your numbers? My crit is close to 53%, damage is 117% roughly and I'm missing 2 mods and getting 400k plus. That ain't even counting the splash damage that you're counting.
since teh last big update, im pretty sure the x133 number is now x200?
Do the Shockwave numbers come from a stack of the crit damage and both the elemental damages added together? Or just the crit damage alone. Also do the elemental damages have a chance to crit as well or are they stuck at base 🤔

That's sweet. 350,000 crit head shot.
Now compare that to a 590,000 crit head shot or a 630,000 crit head shot. Dps 405k no element attached.
Don't ignore weakpoint. U can add 55-75% wp dmg and it scales very hard. This also includes your expls
Yeah weakpoint scales nicely with it all. I do have some weak point. Adding more is something that didn't really add to the consistency of the crits but I can certainly still play around with it to see if something is more optimal.
@worthyprince weakpoint mod and having aim mod will skyrocket your dmg and real life fighter will add up to 100% farm dmg. Add one accuracy mod and it will negate all accuracy loss from both mods. You'll hit hard mode bosses for 112-150k wkpt crits if you stay on target

Right now on the Rolls I have 35.8% crit hit damage... should I get rid if it to match yours... I don't have suck good luck but it crit hit rate is the play pls lmk
Have you tried using regular Fire Rate, Edging Shot and Have Aiming instead of Fire Rate Concentration, Insight Focus and Focus Fire? Concentrate Support Ammo also feels like a missed opportunity to add more damage.

Been rocking the same build but the only thing im missing is the insight focus. Mod doesnt want to drop even on hard mode with a 30 percent drop rate.

I have a build followed solidfps clip and it has doubled headshot dmg. Headshot is also weak point. Have aiming, weak point and real life fighter with fov 120 setting is the top dmg build
Only problem I have with this build over the more standard one people come up with is that this build doesn't seem so great for general use.
- Things already die in one hit to a Thunder Cage for the most part other than some elites, but there won't normally be a lot of mobs around said elites to take advantage of this super crit build and chain reactions.
- As with the previous point, this build seems kind of pointless/weaker in Colossi fight. As it relies very heavily on grounds, which even when there are adds in the fight, there are 3-5 generally at most and they're spread out or at least away from the boss.
Very fun to see big numbers though, but I'm not sure I would call it the Ultimate build.
It is by far the biggest numbers out of any build when the conditions are juuuuust right though.

idk i have exact same build except i am using electric enhance instead of frost enhance but my gun only critting 60k non weakpoint hits and 150k on weakpoint hits on lvl 100 mobs dont quite understand where you are getting 100% higher dmg per bullet *edit seems i am getting same numbers when i am hitting level 1 mobs, so i guess u are showcasing hitting level 1 mob in the lab

This build is correct for 2 reason....you focus on crit damage and crit chance...you need to utilise percentage on a weapon main stats not on something like reload or weak point.....also 30% minus reload might sound a lot but its actuallly 0.4 seconds...so do the math 120% = 0.4 seconds....also i finish the entire hard boss line up with 3 descendent and 0 monetisation....fully invested in thunder cage ....my 2nd energy is for my 5th descendent which i farm day and night , finally unlock ultimate gley ....best feeling ever spending 0 and finishing content....but what the hell how is your mods almost same with me lol...also max the mod with movespeed + aiming...its godly on this weapon for speed run

Yes, people really need to learn the difference between actual damage and DPS. Damage is how much date you can do with a single bullet, DPS is a calculation of how much Damage you can do b4 you reload..... if you don't miss and shots. Which obviously is a bad metric to base anything of at face value

I finished the whole map with just an un-modded Magnus AA because of the mind-game of how to upgrade anything, now I'm here to figure out the mega-puzzler code, bowing to the shrine of what to do with all these parts -noob...
Ok, what am I missing? I have all of the mods, but no where near the room to upgrade them like you have.
need to level it to 40 and fit a cystal rector in it and level it to 40 for each reactor you put in + the baste upgrade thign that gives +20

I currently have all those Mods on and maxed out. It is not as good as you say it is. At least not on level 100 enemies or Colossus. (I have a maxed out thunder cage including unique ability and mods with 578,518 dps)
Is it worth infesting into? I’m newly on hard mode and for 100 thunder and have an activator I can use on it. But I’m scared to use it on a weapon and not a character. I’ve used one on my Ajax so I can use it on my alt or on thunder to use for every character. Or another gun like tamer or something but thunder seems more logical being an ultimate weapon.
@alaskayoung3413 it's one of the best smg for normal add clearing. Dungeons. Stuff like that. For interceptors it's not bad not the best not the worse since the unique effect doesn't really proc on intercepts unless you're killing kingfishers right next to the boss.
So in the lab your using it against order of truth mobs. Which is showing the best dps out of the 3 factions. The other 2 factions would show lower numbers. So why not show the test on all 3 instead of just the one with the favorably high dps number?
So question, how hard is it hitting without any elements? My crit rate is near 100% and I'm not doing critical DMG on every bullet outside of weak spot.
Lol😂, 39% is the highest possible crit rate. Imagine if the thunder cage had 70+% crit rate it would be op
The crit you see is prestnge based on the wepon base crit rate, not the actual crit rate.

that is taken into consideration. Which is why I'm ok with having some weak point stats on the front gun stats.

That type of mob at the start of the video its from a faction that don't have armor.. So you always hit them for a lot.
