I just question why people want to LOCK you into an element. Until they make the elemental mods a universal polarity, you will have to shuffle your mods IF you socket every slot. FUN FACT. Use Electric Enhancement to boost the Thundercage Unique Effect IF you must socket every slot. Personally I'd leave one slot open for the elemental mod.
The only mod that varies on this build from some others is "Focus Fire". In place of focus fire, some are running Sharp Precision Shot (ew), Slow Art, and can't remember the other. Element typically swapped around as needed, if not exclusively running Toxic (only element that stacks). Otherwise, they're all the same cookie cutter and do the same DMG output.

Thanks for the build! I wanted to ask for your opinion on this: For a Bunny build, would you consider swapping out Concentrate Support Ammo here for Electric Conductor? I imagine with Lightning Emission/High Voltage constantly ticking on a boss, proccing Electrocution, it will give us a +30% ATK on hit and it'd be a hidden DPS increase just like adding an elemental mod would. You should try it on the special op missions , I forget the zone name so forgive me but it's the special ops where the area has the poison Rivers. Me and a teammate went and activated all three spawn points and that was crazy. I'm curious as to how that would clear that nightmare out
Yeah the statistics available in the game are amazing. You can basically be a game tester lol. The customization is simply ridiculous, and the Descendant variety is a real testament to creativity, systems design, and Unreal Engine 5!

Crit is a bonus that’s applied, regardless of where you hit the enemy. Weak point is a multiplier that scales if you’re hitting specifically that area, and since they’re separate, they can stack.
@worthyprince Very nice build, tho i wud maybe leave the chill enhancement socket empty and level up all 4 elements to 15 points cost since you have 7 points left to match all bosses, and maybe put the blue one "expand weapon charge" instead of the purple one for those +19% magazine cuz i think it would increase ur damage output in the end more than 6.5% crit dmg, idk
I copied a similar build got to 210crit damage I'll have a peak tonight to see what you did different. Tbh I hope no more slot farming would be needed as that fries my brain XD
Is that concentrate support ammo really better than expand weapon charge. You get way more ammo from the latter one, and 6.5% crit damage modifier doesn't really make sense to me that it would end up being better overall.

you need to focus on weak point and crit. dps vs colossus its useless and will just push colossus to go immune you need to hit those weak points to break parts. and unshielded him

Tldr of what i was about to post 😂 Weak point damage > element, especially for f2p. You can virtually throw any 10 mods on this thing and kill adds that have 50k life. Build is nearly salvageable, but no place for firing fiesta, too many almandine's. Insight focus, focus fire, and chill enhancement need to go. Have aiming for focus fire, concentration support ammo for chill, and firing fiesta for insite focus. Best? Maybe not, but better for sure.

Oof, that chain reaction damage scaling really looks like a bug...I've been wondering why I might pump 3-4 bullets into one mob, then the aoe takes out everything else in one hit. Not going to complain, I'll definitely take it, but really doesn't seem like intended behavior.
I was just reading the 1.05 patch notes - it looks like the compounding explosion damage was a bug. It was only ever supposed to do 1.33x weapon damage to any and all enemies hit, rather than calculating the next enemy hit as 1.33x the previous enemy hit. Goodbye multiple billion damage explosions.
I`m with 595 510 DPS ,same crit chance, same crit damage,better reload time, and much more rounds (new test build). I'm normal with 553,071 DPS (my main build, with an even higher crit chance). But i don't even do millions of damage( against mobs or bosses)! :)
I have a build followed solidfps clip and it has doubled headshot dmg. Headshot is also weak point. Have aiming, weak point and real life fighter with fov 120 setting is the top dmg build
That's sweet. 350,000 crit head shot. Now compare that to a 590,000 crit head shot or a 630,000 crit head shot. Dps 405k no element attached. Don't ignore weakpoint. U can add 55-75% wp dmg and it scales very hard. This also includes your expls
Yeah weakpoint scales nicely with it all. I do have some weak point. Adding more is something that didn't really add to the consistency of the crits but I can certainly still play around with it to see if something is more optimal.
@worthyprince weakpoint mod and having aim mod will skyrocket your dmg and real life fighter will add up to 100% farm dmg. Add one accuracy mod and it will negate all accuracy loss from both mods. You'll hit hard mode bosses for 112-150k wkpt crits if you stay on target
A little curious; I got the same weapon attack and weak point damage, but I only get 20k on weakpoint instead of 55 like yours; I did catalyze but I don't know what I could do differently

Yes yes yes you are correct. He is just choosing the best dps numbers. Notice he doesn't test the damage on any of the other factions just order of truth. My thundercage with less dps does similar Amount of damage to oot as shown in video. And when I test against other 2 factions the damage numbers are down at least 150k on crit.

I use sweeping squad over any “status” effect personally as fully leveled it’s a 100% chance so killing the mobs, whenever the colossus spawns them (which is a lot) is a bonus 32% firearm attack. thunder cage isn’t mainly used for boss killing in my set up though it’s my mobbing weapon Edit: I’d also put critical hit damage on a roll for the weapon as that can be up to 40% on a gold and at mine being 34% on my build I regularly hit over 1mil crits… just thought I’d point this out as the numbers seemed low with the initial body hits

Have you tried using regular Fire Rate, Edging Shot and Have Aiming instead of Fire Rate Concentration, Insight Focus and Focus Fire? Concentrate Support Ammo also feels like a missed opportunity to add more damage. Anyways, thanks for the upload! :)
So question, how hard is it hitting without any elements? My crit rate is near 100% and I'm not doing critical DMG on every bullet outside of weak spot.
Only problem I have with this build over the more standard one people come up with is that this build doesn't seem so great for general use. - Things already die in one hit to a Thunder Cage for the most part other than some elites, but there won't normally be a lot of mobs around said elites to take advantage of this super crit build and chain reactions. - As with the previous point, this build seems kind of pointless/weaker in Colossi fight. As it relies very heavily on grounds, which even when there are adds in the fight, there are 3-5 generally at most and they're spread out or at least away from the boss. Very fun to see big numbers though, but I'm not sure I would call it the Ultimate build. It is by far the biggest numbers out of any build when the conditions are juuuuust right though.
This build is correct for 2 reason....you focus on crit damage and crit chance...you need to utilise percentage on a weapon main stats not on something like reload or weak point.....also 30% minus reload might sound a lot but its actuallly 0.4 seconds...so do the math 120% = 0.4 seconds....also i finish the entire hard boss line up with 3 descendent and 0 monetisation....fully invested in thunder cage ....my 2nd energy is for my 5th descendent which i farm day and night , finally unlock ultimate gley ....best feeling ever spending 0 and finishing content....but what the hell how is your mods almost same with me lol...also max the mod with movespeed + aiming...its godly on this weapon for speed run Ps you could save 1 crystal cuz it seem like you could fit another 5 points

I actually if you looked at the number behind the billion it showed 8 billion behind it i believe.

Have you tried using regular Fire Rate, Edging Shot and Have Aiming instead of Fire Rate Concentration, Insight Focus and Focus Fire? Concentrate Support Ammo also feels like a missed opportunity to add more damage.

So question, how hard is it hitting without any elements? My crit rate is near 100% and I'm not doing critical DMG on every bullet outside of weak spot.
Lol😂, 39% is the highest possible crit rate. Imagine if the thunder cage had 70+% crit rate it would be op
The crit you see is prestnge based on the wepon base crit rate, not the actual crit rate.
Only problem I have with this build over the more standard one people come up with is that this build doesn't seem so great for general use.
- Things already die in one hit to a Thunder Cage for the most part other than some elites, but there won't normally be a lot of mobs around said elites to take advantage of this super crit build and chain reactions.
- As with the previous point, this build seems kind of pointless/weaker in Colossi fight. As it relies very heavily on grounds, which even when there are adds in the fight, there are 3-5 generally at most and they're spread out or at least away from the boss.
Very fun to see big numbers though, but I'm not sure I would call it the Ultimate build.
It is by far the biggest numbers out of any build when the conditions are juuuuust right though.
Yeah the big numbers are fun, and your right that for fighting colossi there are defo better options than the thundercage.
This build is correct for 2 reason....you focus on crit damage and crit chance...you need to utilise percentage on a weapon main stats not on something like reload or weak point.....also 30% minus reload might sound a lot but its actuallly 0.4 seconds...so do the math 120% = 0.4 seconds....also i finish the entire hard boss line up with 3 descendent and 0 monetisation....fully invested in thunder cage ....my 2nd energy is for my 5th descendent which i farm day and night , finally unlock ultimate gley ....best feeling ever spending 0 and finishing content....but what the hell how is your mods almost same with me lol...also max the mod with movespeed + aiming...its godly on this weapon for speed run

Would you say it’s a better investment to use activator and catalyst etc on a weapon like thunder or on your character itself. Like which yields better stuff overall?
