My child, you have come to me my son. For who now is your father if it is not me? I am the well spring, from which you flow. When I am gone, you will have never been. What would your world be, without me? My son.
    My son.

Reused for Thoth-Amon emerging from behind the mirror - Conan's sword through his chest - in Conan the Destroyer

The definitive musical expression of a moment of perfect, complete closure.

I admit that I have avoided City of Prague Phil re-recordings not because of their performances, but because i wanted the originals, but this is lovely.

This music is so incredibly powerful. I often think about it at random moments where I feel something grandiose happened. And this time, I remembered where it came from and could listen to it. Such a treat.
I would love to hear a good "shephard tone" based on the part from 5:12 to 6:18

that is the proove that music is magnetized with his time and significance, if you repeat it cannot be good the same also if you played well and exactly

Perhaps the gentlest version of the Dies Irae since Bernard Herrmann's GARDEN OF EVIL.

this soundtrack doesn't owe anything at all to any of the greatest movie composers: ennio morricone, nino rota, bernard hermann, any of them
