The legendary Weird Al returned to Australia in 2023 for his Ill-Advised Vanity Tour, playing a bunch of his lesser known tracks. It was brilliant. On the night I went, he just happened to close out his set with my favourite song of his - a 17 minute version of this track from the "Running with Scissors" album.

When he did this live in Lancaster, he actually started the WHOLE concert over when he pretended to forget where he was. They played the entirety of Fun Zone and about half of the opener. It was the funniest thing ive ever seen in my life and i will never forget it.

Weird Al belongs in the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame.

I appreciate him addressing his use of a word that isn't considered socially appropriate anymore. And Al, if you read this, the more appropriate term now is intersex.

The little aside on terminology literally fits flawlessly into the song anyway, so it has that perfect mix of nice and also funny
What a legend. This song came out when I was a kid and Weird Al was one of the only mainstream artists my parents would let me listen to, so of course I played the shit out of this song and committed the entire ramble to memory. Saw him during the Unfortunate Return tour a couple years ago, glad to see he's still pushing it and doing all the deep cuts (while I love the parodies, I love his originals even more). I was curious if he would change the "hermaphrodite" part, but he found a perfect way to make it even better, lol. Again, what a legend. Thanks for posting this!
No worries. He's been amazing every time he's toured. This tour had so many deep cuts. Was great!

I saw Weird Al Yankovic on the 11th of March at Palas Theatre with my Dad and what’s cool-I got to meet him after the show since I got 13th row VIP tickets.

I get where you're coming from and if it were anyone else, or even any other song, I would agree. However, I think that given the more rambly nature of the song, it actually kinda works
