It’s so interesting to see the head of a company like that sit and chat openly and in such a relaxed manner about the company and philosophy behind it. There can only be great things to come from that company and mentality.
Fantastic video boys! The fact that Mate has taken the time out to sit down n have a chat with you guys, especially in such a candid setting shows that he's there to listen to his customers, not only the ones who have owned multiple or dozens of their cars. Hope Mate takes up the offer to use the strip for testing for real. You boys are gonna be part of the history of one of the most prestigious car makers to have ever existed. I remember Alejandro gettin Mate on to do the drag race what I remember was the pre-production model Concept One against his 918 and how passionate he came across as. He let his car do the talking. I met him in 2011 at the IAA in Frankfurt. I’m proud of how much he has grown and achieved since then. This man will go far in life. I was following Elon Musk since 2008, back when everybody was laughing about his ambitions. I could tell that he was meant for greatness and I still remember how I noticed the similarities between Mate and Elon when I first spoke to him.
I can definitely see the similarities.

man..this interview was meant for me to see and its POWERFUL. i paused many times and was left struck from what Mate has gone through is exactly what ive experienced and experiencing ..his journey from a young kid crazy about high performing vehicles to dreaming being in a formula 1 cockpit. now im 18 turning 19 and i have thoughts of innovating something remarkable which is now my set vocation..just like Mate. i. this is crazy 16:12 bro..on top of that i just learnt Triple F are based in my city, sick collection getting to have a chat with Mate Rimac in the same proximity. Mate, Christian and Gordon are my top automotive innovators all of them are masters of the craft. i live by silent moves no words loud results but its hard not share what feeling this is the most i can express, i just have to leave this here so down the line i can look my comment and smile broadly. wow im now more aspired.. a driven passion to drive, ride, fly and innovate :) This week in general was legendary adding the monterey car event and new cars unveiled. subbed, liked and commented :)

Straight line speed is not "peak performance". We have a few companies chasing the straight line top speed record, because they sell their cars to rockstars and actors, but we also have companies making cars that really handle, because they sell them to drivers

This was amazing to watch, as a employee of Polestar (EV brand), im dying for a electric Bugatti (even though I probably never could afford it without selling my apartment, firstborn child and living in the car like Stradman - oh wait...ideas..). Thank you guys for these videos where you go a bit "behind the scenes" like speccing a car with McLaren and interviews like this.
this is a fantastic interview podcast Mate gives me Christian Koenigsegg vibes and that's fantastic this is a perfect example of dedication and hard work how he got to work with cars over the past 12+ years to creat rimac as a real car enthusiast him creating a small electric car to making one from the ground up I love the future of electric cars and I cant wait to see Mate at The Quail Car Week and hopefully seeing you guys too I loved watching every second of this and cant wait for the electric and hybrid Bugatti it can be a lot quicker

Getting to share this side of things is something I wished others did for some time glad you guys got to do this chat and get the side of whats going on no one knows about but all car people want to know.
If you all could pull of this idea would be interesting to see, have the main people from few the top brands all talk together at one time.
Mate, christian, Horacio, Michael (mclaren), possibly others. Having them together in one place talking would be so interesting, even tho they are competing I would think they respect one another and one another are pushed in own ways. They all have same passion just in each own ways for the same product. As well I don't think this has ever been done. If someone can pull that off would blow up the internet, lastly you guys should get more of a following you deserve it.

I love Mate's humble, but accurate flex about Croatia being the birthplace of Nikola Tesla and being inspired by his work. Nikola got his idea about the A/C motor while he was still living in Croatia so it's cool to see Mate being inspired by the great innovator and inventor. I'm sure Mr. Tesla would be proud of Mate's work with electricity.
I seem very confident that he will make Bugatti succeed. The is a very good representative of the future of car tech.

Mate cvk and horacio are the godfathers of the modern hypercars
If I understood Mate well, the plan is to make new Bugatti with even stronger combustion engine together with help of electric motor.. So I'm guessing that combustion engine will have about 3K HP and electric motor around 1K. To put that together they will definitely use complete carbon monochoque..
Take a look at McMurtry from the uk what they are doing with electric cars is on another level like these guys
