I really wished these guys had stealth upgrade. It's a real pain to micro these guys out of the front lines especially when the entire army is blocking them.
@@artem2496 It shouldn't be, that *should* be the Pathfinder's job. I didn't know the lore very well at the time, or likely the game for that matter. I found stealth suits to be good at taking points but terrible with damage. It was always a risk taking them in the combat too as the AI would always conveniently have a detector nearby to mow them down. So I would use them exclusively for stealth capping points, And when the Pathfinder came along, who's pretty much described as a perfect spotter, I thought "hey this way I don't have to put my kroot in between the entire enemy gun line to see the enemy." Little did I know that with upgrades, The stealth suits end up better than Pathfinders almost in every way-which kinda blows ya know? Wouldn't be surprised if an early development, Pathfinders where your initial unit, and stealth suits where your "special operations" guys did demo an enemy bases. As it stands now, Pathfinders are really only good for running down retreating enemies and helping take down key targets. I.E. they suck.
@@enovos3138 It wouldn't be so bad if they didn't have such short range weapons. What's the point of their suppressing fire effect if they have to stand right next to the enemy. They do see very far though.
Path finders are scout units providing visual on the enemies for fire warriors and shad'ui bodyguards cuz both of those units have shit vision range. I really hoped that Path finders can have stealth upgrade cuz there always in the front lines.
@@patricksusulin9335 I really wish that the pathfinders were a minor command unit that you could attach to squads. A fire warrior team with a single pathfinder attached is the ultimate weapon. Their sight-line is pretty much the fire warrior max range.
yeh go kroot path mass some fire warriors set traps with comander get path finders 1 or 2 to spot and detect get 4 squads of stealth suits for at and vehicle disabling and the only thing that can stop you is librarian invul IG basilisk and the like, and well anything similar to those, which aren't really that many. Then again you can always fall back you line, using the traps you set to delay and when invul is over gun them down, or jump with stealth suits and blast the enemy artillery.
For some reason... I´m expecting one of these pathfinders to take off his helmet and reveal he is really Takeo Masaki... Sorry, I just couldn´t resist XP

You can use Stealthsuit teams to provide sight for Fire Warriors.

Fire Warrior with Pathfinder, most violent Anti-Infantry Tactic
too bad pathfinders have horrible range

@@patricksusulin9335 that's why you have pathfinders on stand ground stance always, and put them on quick select 1.
@@armando429046 Pathfinders make targets vulnerable, making fire warriors literally deadly.
