@@SarahsUKGraveyard yes deffo! The last thing that happened was I went to the toilet at about 2am i crossed the top of the stairs to go to the toilet and ryan was in bed....as I came out I saw ryan walking downstairs it was dark and I did think whats he going down for at this time...anyway I stepped into the bedroom and ryan was just lay in bed. Omg ive never run so fast I dived over him and got under the covers. It was the silhouette of a man just walking down the stairs it scared me to death. 🤣 xx
@@EvilStrikesTrueCrimeChannel jesus christ that's like a ghost situation my mum had. Similar she'd fell asleep downstairs woke up freezing and said to her husband who was on the computer with his back to her thanks for letting me fall asleep in the cold and got up and went to bed. When she got to bed her husband was sound asleep. Who the hell was sat at the computer. 😳 Add me on Facebook search historical oldham add me and I can inbox you my number. Let's do it when is safe 😁
@@SarahsUKGraveyard omg that is so creepy its scary sometimes but others I just ignore it. I'm not on social media but next time I see my mum I will go on hers and send you my number so just check your message request xx
OK will do x
I actually went to St Peter's school and, of course, St Peter's church was 'our' church. We had to walk there from school for events such as harvest (take a tin of something or fruit, as I recall, the forerunner of food banks, eh? ;) ), Christmas and Easter services. Way back in my faded memory (my memory is like looking through a bathroom window, all fuzzy) I remember there were some very contentious issues around the demolition (what? Oldham demolish a historic building? Never ;) ) of St Peter's and the exhuming of the bodies buried there but I cannot remember the details other than it was in the mid 60s.
Wow those were the days and to think it was once viewed as controversial to knock a building down in Oldham
When your aunty Annies husband Tommy was buried at St Matthews church in Chadderton in 1965 he was buried in the wrong grave back then the vicar got the grave wrong and put an i instead of a j with the grave number, it had no grave stone on and the family said this grave doesn’t seem in the right location, because actually it’s against a stone wall at the back next to the primary school, a few weeks later another family went to visit their family grave and noticed it had been recently dug up, so the police visited aunty Annie and told her what had happened, they had to apply to the home office for an exhumation order in order for him to be put in the correct family plot, when that came through after a few weeks the police called at her house again and said it’s being done at midnight on such a date and asked her would she like to be there whilst it’s being done, her answer to them was “ do I bloody hell’., so that might of been one of the first exhumations in Oldham.
Bloody Nora. Andrew you habe loads of stories I need to get them from you x
@@SarahsUKGraveyard Trust me to end up living right opposite a church yard dating back to the 14th century, believed to be the oldest in the uk.
Right I need to know where this is Andrew 😊
Great video I would love to do a paranormal ghost session there as like I told you in my last comment on your other video it's supposed to be haunted 👻
It defo is one bloke said he saw the ghost of an old lady in there. Look out for tomorrow's video it's going to be a really good one
@@SarahsUKGraveyard can't wait thank you 👍
I reckon you may know something about the next video. If you do please comment to let me know. Should be up before 6pm tomorrow all being well
My aunt told me a friend of theirs was working on removing the bones and they took them down to Hollinwood Cemetery to be cremated.
They did but they also took some to the tip I was told because they were in unmarked graves
Hello there!!
Hello, thanks for watching my videos
St. Peter's infant school was situated roughly where Sainsbury's on Union Street is now.
really?
@@SarahsUKGraveyard Indeed it was.
Oh wow
@@SarahsUKGraveyard Sent you a photo of the map showing where the school was.
Sarah can you do a video up at the cottages at Brighton road and lowbrook lane water head steeped in history
Could defo look into it yes. Xxx
Classic down the pub stories lol
Glad you like the channel. Thank you so much for subscribing
I'm not gonna recommend nowt because half the time spur of the moment stuff is better. I reckon there are 100's of paupers bodies all over the shop m8 and some of them big-time fat cats definitely got buried with their booty.
I Love the fact that you heard the story off of an old-time reveller back in the day.
I just hope stories like that will continue to be shared in pubs but hope is a pointless thing in the current climate.
Take care m8.
Clarky.
With you mate. Good thing is we can record these events what we know etc so the voices of the past are not lost 😊
@@SarahsUKGraveyard Here Here m8 x
Some of my family were exhumed from here.
We're they ? How long ago did they live and do you know where they reburied them ?xx
possibly Greenacres Cemetery. My Cousin knows more will ask
@stecalcutt2596 brilliant thanks x
Bring back toy & hobby! It was where tj hughes was. It was a huge toy shop! :)
I used to love going in there
St. Peter’s precinct WINDY CITY as it was called then, it had its own character and the wind would blow you into the Regent pub door hole so it was a shame not to go for one,,ha ha,, now just like a poor Manchester on crack,, hate the place more enjoyable going to LIDL
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
