0:19 Glad that Venice finally got its layout update from the workshop. 1:23 A tc map? Oh now I really want to see what is left of it. Community made tc maps are so rare. 5:14 I have seen that one on the community made map, mvm_downtown, durring a community MvM event. It acted as a forward spawn for the robots. Nice seeing it now being used ingame. 6:36 I guess that is what the spectator camera, that travels around the building is tied to. 6:49 Still a little annoyed that pl_cashworks broke like that, when it was compleatly fine before getting added.
Nice to have a small followup to your Trains of TF2 video. Next outta be the Left 4 Dead or Counter-Strike series, if you've played those. Fun fact, nearly every train model in L4D is just a modified TF2 model with proportions made less exaggerated. 5:16 Oh yeah! This was inspired by a unique tanker model that goes unused. I don't remember if it's just leftover in the retail files, or if it was discovered in the Postal III leaks or recent massive Valve gigaleak at the start of the year, but it's cool to see the concept repurposed on this map.
I'm still learning with hammer, but i'd like to make a tf2 map that is also train focused. I have an idea for a 3 stage a/d map that shows a simplified process of restoring a steam engine. Stage 1 would be capping the workshop to start work on the engine. Stage 2 would be capping the coal tipple to fuel the engine up, and stage 3 would be capping at a station to get the engine ready to leave. One day i'll get this done. Hopefully.
More TF2 trains. The summer update gave us more trains and railcars. 5:11 those seals plushies look really cute. 6:41 yes the little locomotive looks cute. American diesel locomotives in a German map? Also some German tank engines. 7:22 thats a seal not a sea lion. 7:25 look at her go really caught me off guard. 7:48 thats funny.
Seals, Mimi sentries (I know they're not official in the game), and this Rail layout with your locomotive info have been incredible add ons to the TF2 game!
I think the story of Rotunda is that RED and BLU both want what's in the container because it'll aid their fight for the Mann Bros and all the Workers got wind of what was gonna go down and legged it.
The red soldier with blue intel buried under rubble is a homage to Karma Charger as he used to make videos explaining weapon statistics in TF2 but has since deleted his channel and disappeared.
It looks like they're using an abandoned shed for the battle for the control point and it looks like either one or both teams dumped coal into the turntable to stop it from spinning so that they can also block entrances and exits to their intelligence and to stop the other team from trying to use any other engines to pull out the load on the turntable by turning the table
My theory of why the blu and Red team and their rolling stock are in Germany is that the mann brothers wanted to spread there company to europeon countries but didn't want to pay extra money for European cars so they took there american freight cars and gp38s with them and only bought the steam engines.
Im glad WE finally get to See a Germany Steam locomotive in this Game i allways wanted to See a Germany Steam locomotive in soo gmod or this but im glad WE saw one
I highly doubt that he will do this, but it would be cool if he reviewed the similarities of Lego train sets and real trains. Again, probably not happening.
In the other video, you called the Denver and Rio Grande Western railroad the Durango and Western Railroad. You also didn't talk about how the D&RGW locomotives side rods didn't move.
To be perfectly honest, while I "dislike" PvP shooters like TF2 (don't ask, "dislike" is for politeness' sake, the real intensity level goes WAY beyond that) I will always appreciate trains in games. Apart from the cartoonish characters, I honestly think these maps would be right at home in a Half-Life game and I hope that someday we may get more, non-VR, Half-Life games with controllable trains. For example, I would love to be able to take full operational control of the Depot as Gordon Freeman, and use the Razor Trains there to help the Resistance win against the Combine.
POV: me hijacking the German tank engine to run over the engineers sentry
The marklin engine
Marklin solos Engineer
Now we need a french map with a french engine for spies.

I will always appreciate and applaud new train maps in TF2. Trains enhance every map they're in.
I really hope they add more train maps.
but this is a really good one

0:58 You and your friends felt like new!
The blues brothers lol 0:29
I like to think that the small train easter-egg at 6:37 is a reference to LGB's diesel switcher model

Gotta be my favourite map from the summer update. It's well-made but also easy to learn and fairly balanced
After 9 years…
We got a new train!

@@joltz..2042 Yeah, I should've specified that they're fanmade.
I actually have a Marklin model that looks similar to the train.
Amazing job as always, and keep being awesome! :D
Ahh yes, the BR80

This is honestly one of the best maps ever added to the game! I do also really like Phoenix and Pelican peak as well

Seems unlikely, but either way, rip soldier, he killed everyone and took a briefcase

@@jd_the_cat it's just a hat.
It'd need more than just 1 hat to be 100% a reference
I like these type of vids, like some games have really well modeled map vehicles, and theyre just there forgoten.
if even the train enjoyers are talking about tf2 that means the game really is alive
the only thing I would do to that locomotive would be to make it into an 0-6-0.
was lookin forward to this video
4:05 lol, I thought that was a real locomotive for a second.
TF2 NEVER DIES BABY
>Infinite Freight Train
I think a Class I executive would kill to make that a reality
Nice work AmtrakGuy!
The rail lines might be similar to the Prussian Rail Lines, with efficiency being the key factor

😊 yay part 2 I can't believe I followed you loooong time
Yes! Another banger from Jared!
6:39 the train circling the walkway is a small version of the blue A.D.M.E 105 switcher
its actually D&RGW 50
Works cannot express how much I wished the trains moved at the end of a round.

Honestly the last thing I need now is trainsawlaser, even if it's just resigned to be a Halloween map
Nice back to TF2 Trains!
The grey 0-8-0 looks like a oversized puffa
6:47
Oh hi!
it would be cool to see a ctf version of this where at the end of the round the losing team's intel room collapses (and maybe with a spinning rotunda)
Epic train
Imagine being the engineer who needs to drive the train thro a area with a bunch of idiots blowing each other up
Video: poor forklift
Me:NNNNNOOOOOOOOO NOT THE FORKLIFT
imagine if the steam trains became an animation model in SFM
GOOD WORK HOSS its a shame this map is very claustrophobic and overwhelming tbh i really like looking at the trains yo
4:05 I didn’t even notice it was a model!

I highly doubt that he will do this, but it would be cool if he reviewed the similarities of Lego train sets and real trains. Again, probably not happening.
I hope there will be more trains and rolling stocks in team fortress 2 probably in some new maps in the future

Based for using Parappa music
Someone should have recorded custom sound effects for these types of games!..
The 81 class tank engine is just a german e2 class tank engine
You should do "Trains of Fallout"
YAY
They could have absed the slanted water tanks from the American s100 tank engines
the heavy update
you should do a video on the all trains in GTA
the gray tank engine should be in rail gate, not the shed

I really hope they make an American map
Yeah abandoned steam engine work shop why are their American diesels their then
German locomotive
Yes more tf2

Good map, sky net bots ruined it.
While it's a good map, I think it's pretty ugly. No attempt was made at color theory and there's junk everywhere cluttering up the visuals.
