I was a heavy Android user for 10 years. Coming back to this phone brought me back to my high school days. Feels like a jail broken iPod touch but with beefed up internals. I love how small it is. Gives me a break from these freaking monstrosity of phablets lol.
Same here. The only option several months ago was the s10 mini and it would cost me 100 euros more. So i decided to swallow up not having an AMOLED as i use device mainly to get things done, chat and rarely youtube. I got my se for 300 euros brand new. Pretty happy.
I have to say, I’m tired of the current iPhone screen design that’s been around since the X. I won’t buy another iPhone until a significant screen change. I have the 11.
The iPhone 12’s design will be slightly different. It’ll have a body of an iPad Pro so holding it would be pretty comfortable on the hands compared to the current design. It’ll be like the iPhone 4 design. I don’t think they’ll be removing or minimising the size of the notch anytime soon.
I loved my 11, but enough was enough with face ID. I got tired of stumbling around with my password to check my grocery list and pull up Apple pay. I’ve been considering trading it in since spring. I was looking at Apple watches earlier this week when I suddenly realized it was only because I was looking for something less bulky than my 11 to carry around and that’s when it clicked. Smaller phone + touch ID. I’ll miss the bigger screen for now, but definitely not the lack of practicality during 2020. People complain about the bezels of the older phones, but this is a very practical phone right now. And the red one looks pretty sweet.
Went from a 10s Max to an SE and can tell you now just the smaller size alone makes me love it more everyday. Fits any pocket and it’s got fantastic speed with the A13 chip. Battery life can be an issue with heavy use but for a casual user it’s phenomenal. Also the camera is top quality for a single lens
I got mine yesterday lol lol wanted to watch a few vids to make me feel better about my purchase lol I had a 7 previously and I love the size of the SE. Plus it’s still an upgrade from the 7 no matter what lol
I just bought an SE 2 128 GB and its product red .......one month in and i absolutely adore it because i'm a light to medium user.....lasts me a whole day and playing COD on this is not a problem at all. Love it.
@@shy6892 Bro estimated charging time is about 1 hour and 30 minutes, i play around 1 hour of COD and I don’t watch videos on this......also i use the original charger and a wireless pad at home and a wireless one in my car and about the earphones/headphones i use MIVI Thunder Beats and an Infinity headphone rarely
I bought my iphone se 2020 in June and still LOVE it. People complain about the screen, but it's gorgeous to me. Plus, I love how portable it is and I can manipulate the apps and type with one hand. Its wireless charging feature is a godsend too. It's got that Apple build quality, and the #1 selling point for me: the home button and Touch ID FTW! Sure, the iphone 12 mini has more bells and whistles, but I'm cool with my little se.
If you want to buy it just go for it. I have had the best experience and it does great in almost every category. The battery is a little small but it’s alright
Switched from an XR to the SE to get Touch ID back, which is way more convenient during this pandemic. I put a battery case on it to resolve the battery life issues, and I couldn’t be happier.
I love my Iphone SE 2020 I watched a lot of review videos before I bought it and after 3 weeks I’m very happy with it (white color is beautiful) Also thinking about buying Ipad 8 ❤️
I got mine the day it was released. I use it about 5 hours a day. I noticed my battery health seems to be going down rather fast for how it’s used, it feels like it’s degrading too quickly so I check often and have started taking notes. 9/22 94% battery health 9/30 93% battery health I don’t know what’s normal, but this sure seems like it’s just not right. Other than that, performance wise it’s very fast, handles everything, no issues. Picked up an iPad mini as well. I’m enjoying snuggling down into the Apple ecosystem.
Watching in my iPhone se this iPhone is better battery performance than iPhone 8 and 7..... many person told that battery is very poor but my opinion battery performance is average it gives like 2800 mah battery because of inbuilt A13bionic chip..... Don’t confuse just go for it 👍👍..... Love from India bro 😘😘
Woah doesn’t even feel like that long ago, got my White SE about a week after it’s launch. I’m a light user so it gets the job done for me, that might be why I haven’t even noticed that it’s a “new” phone. It just freakin’ works like an iPhone should. Screen gets bright enough for me to use in direct sunlight so that’s a plus for me since my job is outside. Finger print-home button always works for me as well. I can see myself using this phone for a few more generations before getting jealous of something new.
I just got this phone for my birthday and it’s so fast and smooth it doesn’t even get hot when I game on it it’s not like my iPhone 7 which becomes a frying pan after 2 minutes of gaming. This phone is amazing no cons about it
I got my SE2020 in November and I love it. The size is perfect for me - it is light weight and fits easily in a pocket and the red color is pretty. For every phone I’ve had, I use a protective case to protect against dropping - mine is clear so that color isn’t hidden. It seems a little unfair to compare the camera, etc to an iPhone 10 or higher. Sure the features on 10 are fancier, but it is also 4 times the price point! For those who do not need the latest and greatest tech, this phone is a winner.
I love mine! Made me realise how much I prefer the smaller size, much easier in the hand and pockets. Only gripes really are battery size...and after 6 months battery health has dropped to 95%
@@kid5042 yes it is. it's faster and smarter and will get updates for many more years than the 8. the camera is a lot better too. the se2020 is basically an iphone 11 in the body of an 8 with a smaller battery. (the se2 and 8 have the same battery)
@@andyo650 No. I actually had this phone it’s not even faster than my 8, Camera is still about the same it fells the same in hand it has the same features and add both really. I traded in and got an 11 from TMobile.

Ronty Shil Not sure if you’re in the U.S. , but if you are as I am, T-Mobile offered this at only 16 bucks a month over two years. That’s literally the price of getting a bag of potato chips each week! We already have unlimited data, text, etc as most carriers do for very little. It’s pretty hard to not be able to afford a new SE at least, even in a lower income bracket.
Oh. My humble apologies. Yes. I’m aware how crazy expensive Apple products are there. I actually read an article today about your nation’s ...well...’economic nationalism’ (culturally somewhat understandable, even to an outsider...at least to a slight degree) causing such high prices to the detriment of the nation’s consumers with regards to this very sort of thing. Hopefully, better leaders, regulatory relaxations, trade, etc and such in the near future can ease prices over there for you guys. Blessings and hope to you. 🙂
Again, I look forward to better trade and better days between our nations for better opportunities for you folk over there. Cheers and high hopes and love til then. 🙂

rotimi kayode No doubt buddy 11 Pro is also a great handy phone n for business But iPhone se was released keeping in mind about the COVID situation since due to mask Face ID don’t work and people often hv to wear mask at business areas My 11 Pro Max is totally fine for me since I am a clg student n I am at home n I don’t have to go out often
i was ip 7 plus user, try to switch to samsung and regretted it. i think iphone still the better experience for me. i also missed touch ID and that large bezel. Yup the bezel! you're not reading it wrong lol gonna switch back to iphone, and gonna pick this SE 2 for sure!
I love my SE. I downgraded from the Pro Max just because I wanted something smaller but didn't have any justification for spending $700+ for even the mini version of the new iPhone 12. My SE is fantastic and I honestly don't feel a need to go back to any of the higher end iPhones.
I have the iPhone SE 2 and I love the Phone SO much!! (I got the 128GB Model) The only Negatives about the Phone that I can think of is the Battery Life and the Camera Quality. The Battery Life is fine for my Phone at a Battery Health of 99%. I usually don't use all the Battery in a Day and I would say it has All Day Battery Life. Now sometimes on the weekends if I am on my Phone a ton and playing lots of games on it I have used over 100% battery in a day but it's never gone above 120%, and if you just plug it into the Fast Charger it'll charge up REALLY QUICKLY. The issue here is you'll probably need to Replace the Battery once the Health gets down to around 85%. While if you get an iPhone such as the iPhone 11 as an example you don't need to replace that battery until around 75 - 80%. So I just have in mind that at some point I'll have to bring my iPhone into Apple to have them replace the battery. The only other issue I could see for most people would be the Camera Quality. For me personally though I don't usually use my Phones Camera and when I do use it I think it works nicely! :)
would you recommend this phone for someone who has data always on, i have a flat rate plan and newer use wifi , will the battery hold all day without charging ?
« If you want a back up iPhone you might want to pick one up » Me : wondering if this could be my my main phone for the next 3-4+ years 😩😥😂 I guess we don’t have the same wallet thickness 🤦♂️
This would definitely last 3 years+. If you are concerned about the battery, get it replaced after 2-3 years. That makes it so you can keep it for as long as possible
6 months later, but I doubt that phone was used for 6 months given the condition that red leather case is in? Overall, great followup video. Thanks for sharing.
I just got an amazing deal at cricket wireless, we got 2 iPhone SE for $50 each, we just ported our numbers over and switched to cricket. I’ve only had it for a week, for the price this phone is amazing
Picked up an open box SE 2020 after returning iPhone 12 Pro which was not as pocket-friendly. 2020 SE fits my needs perfectly and is at least larger than my original SE ( is still great w/new battery for my backup line). Also during Covid-19, can't beat the touch-ID for ease of use.
Just ordered mine today. Red of course. Never had an iPhone though my kids have them. They like theirs. I love my iPad so I’m looking forward to getting my SE. I’ve had to put up with second hand cast off Android phones till now.
Hey Nick, should I buy this phone now or hold off for a couple years for the possibility of a 5G version being released by Apple? (This would be used to replace my mom’s current iPhone 6S).
I don't have it but from the videos I've seen it seems to last 4 to 5 hours of constant play but if you get a portable charger it will be a little better.
My carrier, Xfinity Mobile, offered this phone recently for free if you accepted a 24-month contract. It’s been great so far. That 3GB RAM is a bit low for me (I mainly used Note models from Samsung before trying out my first iPhone), but I’ve learned how to keep apps from crashing. I’ve even installed iOS 15 beta on it despite the SE being my daily driver. I agree with your points on this device. Nice work!
I just got an 11 and it feels kind of heavy, and I'm a big guy. I think I'll get this little one also, I like the size and light weight. Great price and nice phone
I got the SE today for $150 at Walmart. Never had an iPhone before, not going to lie this might have made keep the change. This camera is soooo much better than my cheap android lol.
I switched from Android to iPhone. I purchased an iPhone SE for the first time and the spinning wheel next to the Wi-Fi signal was driving me crazy. What's up with that? Thank you nice video.
I'm already at 99% Battery with just over 2 months of use. I'm happy with it overall though. But it bothers me that the battery went down that fast. Maybe it's the particular unit I got or my heavy use case. It doesn't affect everyday battery life though. Will get a wireless charger soon. I will hold on to this phone until it breaks down and unserviceable. hahaha. I don't care if it's over 10 years old. :D
I got a couple of questions. 1. Can we use the app switcher by holding on the left side of the screen like that in 3D touch home button iphones? 2. Can we use back tap with case on?
No negatives of using a smaller phone to me. People need to get off their phones and be more involved in the present. No one is guaranteed tomorrow. ✌🏻
Hello, I'm considering about buying this phone but everybody say that the battery life is a huge drawback. I would say that im a mid user, just calling , browsing on internet and socials and ofc youtube. Would you recommend this phone ? (Ps: i love small phones)
Just got the iPhone 12! I Upgraded from an iPhone SE 2020 and already miss my iPhone SE so I now wonder if getting the iPhone 12 so soon was a bad idea. The fingerprint ID is really a convenience when wearing a mask 😷 compared to the Face ID.
I’m considering upgrading from my current phone which is the original IPhone SE (2016). I do like the new design of the iPhone 12, Mini but this is almost half the Price of the iPhone 12 Mini. But I think I prefer the the Touch ID. I might go for the Black or Red. ⌚️😎👍🏼
I got one of these as my travel phone (outside the US) however, I'm an Android user. For travel this works great as I have my dedicated international sim in it.
@@nickackermanchannel 5 years software support on a phone with a design that's 5yrs old already. So in 5 years time your SE would literally be 10yrs old. A13 bionic? Beast ! I'm sure gaming would be perfect, oh wait 1821mah. Then again 4k video!!!!!...but screen = 720p LCD .....SIR, THAT'S A BIG L
I’m using my iPhone SE 2 to write this and let me tell you, the battery life is total garbage. I don’t use my phone often but the battery goes from 100% to 65% in about 30 minutes and that’s with brightness turned down and all background apps cleared. I love the phone itself but man they could’ve done a whole lot better with the battery life
Face Id is greaty but if Apple wants to make a phone cheaper by using touch id, why didnt they just put the touch id in the start/off button? Just like the newest ipad. Therefore we would have a bigger screen and a modern look.
Can you share the applications you have downloaded in addition to the default applications in that phone? They seem interesting. An additional description of each application is unnecessary. Just their names is enough. Thank you.

This would've been SUPER convenient if this would have lunched after iphone 8 series
Watching on that!, my only complaint is battery.
Battery last me all day with normal use (social networks, web browsing and youtube), and i use it all day. So no complaints here.
Is it school ready if it's charged to 60%? (On average I'm 7 hours at school)
I sold my se and got the 4a , it destroys the se in my opinion
Earnist Se but not when it comes to performance
@@earnistse4899 I used the 4a for a bit. It's great and I own a Galaxy S20. Just missed some features so I'm selling my S20 for a Pixel 5.
I'll get it for Christmas I'm so excited 😆
Can't you just get a better phone?
@@eyeofthewickedlord6631 bro shut up

No I totally disagree about slipping. The 6s which I’ve upgraded from is the hat you call slippery. The glass makes it much more grippy
i was ip 7 plus user, try to switch to samsung and regretted it. i think iphone still the better experience for me. i also missed touch ID and that large bezel. Yup the bezel! you're not reading it wrong lol gonna switch back to iphone, and gonna pick this SE 2 for sure!
i got my iphone se and i don't see any wrong with it. iphones been part of my life.
i got the black one and surprised to see the specs. e-sim, wifi 6, 4k @ 60 fps! very happy with the purchase tbh
I dont know how people use more than 64 gbs of storage...
Same! I use 15 G in total
Work or college stuff. I bought the 128GB variant because I’ll start working soon, coming from a 32GB iPhone 7 lol
@@maikelsauceda8175 how is it ?
Work, college or for people who do more stuff on their phone. I actually don’t understand how people use 64gb😂
@@Lol-rv5bv same, I still have 9 extra Gigabytes and I only have 32 lol
I love my SE. I downgraded from the Pro Max just because I wanted something smaller but didn't have any justification for spending $700+ for even the mini version of the new iPhone 12. My SE is fantastic and I honestly don't feel a need to go back to any of the higher end iPhones.
I agree. There’s nothing wrong with the iPhone 2020 se.
Dude, all the numbers and specs during the first minute of the video made my eyes glaze over. Did you like the phone, or did you not like the phone?
I have the iPhone SE 2 and I love the Phone SO much!! (I got the 128GB Model)
The only Negatives about the Phone that I can think of is the Battery Life and the Camera Quality.
I got mine for 250$ brand new with my cricket upgrade it’s my work phone really like it
I bought it this week. I love it so much so far
i LOVE the new se! i had the old se and LOVED it. i love this thing even more! SE baby :D
« If you want a back up iPhone you might want to pick one up »
Me : wondering if this could be my my main phone for the next 3-4+ years 😩😥😂
I guess we don’t have the same wallet thickness 🤦♂️
This would definitely last 3 years+. If you are concerned about the battery, get it replaced after 2-3 years. That makes it so you can keep it for as long as possible
Grace Landin more like replace every 12-16 months
@@patsfan4life yep, that's what I had to do for my iphone 6S in the las 2 years, and that's what I fear I would have to do with the SE2
@@patsfan4life I had an iPhone 5s with the same battery from 2014 up until a few months ago when I switched to the new SE

6 months later, but I doubt that phone was used for 6 months given the condition that red leather case is in? Overall, great followup video. Thanks for sharing.
The red leather case wasn’t used all the time, I use a clear case. This one only around the house :)
I just got an amazing deal at cricket wireless, we got 2 iPhone SE for $50 each, we just ported our numbers over and switched to cricket. I’ve only had it for a week, for the price this phone is amazing
The thing i like about these phone is the fact people can put it more easily in their pocket.
I got mine yesterday, I love it, it’s perfect for me!
Should I go for it now ? Or should I wait for SE3 ?
One of the best reviews, you tackle a lot of IMPORTANT stuff, loved it! Two thumbs up!
Just ordered mine today. Red of course. Never had an iPhone though my kids have them. They like theirs. I love my iPad so I’m looking forward to getting my SE. I’ve had to put up with second hand cast off Android phones till now.
Just got mine today the 128 gig I freaking love the size I don’t have huge hands so it’s prefect

Hey Nick, should I buy this phone now or hold off for a couple years for the possibility of a 5G version being released by Apple? (This would be used to replace my mom’s current iPhone 6S).
Im getting it as a gift from my sister. Cant wait to get it on November 4 🤕

It’s the great phone the only thing is battery life but can live with that
How long does it last?
I got the iPhone SE 2020 Black a week ago 🙌
I dont play games. Im only on youtube and social media. Does my battery wil last all day long?
I don't have it but from the videos I've seen it seems to last 4 to 5 hours of constant play but if you get a portable charger it will be a little better.
you just reminded me of the swipe to type and my gosh i love it, even on my seven
Nice work!
Should I switch to the SE from the Pixel 3a?
I just got an 11 and it feels kind of heavy, and I'm a big guy. I think I'll get this little one also, I like the size and light weight. Great price and nice phone
I got the SE today for $150 at Walmart. Never had an iPhone before, not going to lie this might have made keep the change. This camera is soooo much better than my cheap android lol.
I switched from Android to iPhone. I purchased an iPhone SE for the first time and the spinning wheel next to the Wi-Fi signal was driving me crazy. What's up with that? Thank you nice video.
Still a class dependable phone that gets all the basics & much more done 👍
Thinking of getting one . Still Rocking the old SE . Will it be worth it ? I love small phones
Best phone of 2020 so far
I'm already at 99% Battery with just over 2 months of use. I'm happy with it overall though. But it bothers me that the battery went down that fast. Maybe it's the particular unit I got or my heavy use case. It doesn't affect everyday battery life though. Will get a wireless charger soon. I will hold on to this phone until it breaks down and unserviceable. hahaha. I don't care if it's over 10 years old. :D
Try keeping battery level b/w 30-80% . Battery life won’t decrease
I got a couple of questions.
1. Can we use the app switcher by holding on the left side of the screen like that in 3D touch home button iphones?
2. Can we use back tap with case on?
Abhinav Khare 1.- No you can’t (hopefully they can add it later)
2.- works fine by me
No negatives of using a smaller phone to me. People need to get off their phones and be more involved in the present. No one is guaranteed tomorrow. ✌🏻
The a13 bionic chip used in se can improve the battery life issues??
I am pretty happy with SE.
I wonder if Apple will develop as iPhone se Plus?
S10 128gb vs SE 128Gb at same price which one do you prefer ?
I got one of these as my travel phone (outside the US) however, I'm an Android user. For travel this works great as I have my dedicated international sim in it.

How is the battery life?
"launched in e-pril"
Thank you.
Battery is the main issue. Actually this issue is like false positive. It drastically reduced my mobile addiction.
Otherwise it’s awesome.
This is the only iPhone that added in 2020..........very very Special Edition, I Think Apple knew it truly....and 2021 will be the iPhone 12
